Jeremy Thomas: Jer, by the way, goes and finds a hooker in Times Square, paying her $100 to spread the word that Alexis Donovan and her unborn child have kidnapped by persons unknown.  Hopefully, word will reach Trevor on that.

Singha: does he look for the blondes?

Jeremy Thomas:
Indeed.  He also asks them some about Captain Blood.

Singha: roll cha+streetwise, then per+emp

Jeremy Thomas:
Jeremy Thomas: 2,9,7,5,8,  Jeremy Thomas: 6,4,7,6,7,4,3,

Singha: Captian Blood has been around for several years, and got that nickname from the streetwalkers because he tortures the piss out of the girls he'd pick up, but he always paid them very well and never injured them permanently.  He rarely even left physical marks that lasted more than a day or two.  It was pretty commonly known he was a bodyguard for Malcolm Dewitt during that time, and he disappeared in the spring of 2003, at the same time Trevor Dunne was being sought by the FBI for embezzeling close to a Billion of Malc's assets

Jeremy Thomas:
*NOD*  And has he been around again, recently?

Singha: then, around june of 2004, some rumors started up that he was back in town

Jeremy Thomas:
((Are we assuming Michelle's already told Johnny about Michael, the treaty, etc., I assume?))

Singha: yes

Jeremy Thomas:
Okay, just makin' sure.

Jeremy Thomas:
So Jer asks the hookers specifically if they've seen him, or if more of his type have started disappearing recently.

Singha: there was one big italian guy who showed up in july who made hookers disappear.

Singha: a pimp named Booker came after him, but then reports say it wasn't an Italian, it was Captain Blood.

Singha: Apparently the italian killed one of Booker's prostitutes, and also made this little girl named Jackie disappear.  But for some reason, Booker went after Captain Blood.

Singha: there are also rumors that Captain Blood had both male and female slaves serving him, and that Malcolm De Witt was one of those slaves, along with a young man named Josh and an ex-hooker named Helena

Jeremy Thomas:
Can they make any corrolation between Josh and Joshua Cole, or confirm it's not Joshua?  Or is it too vague?

Singha: This Josh was a blonde farm boy from Iowa, repressed in the closet, picked up at a gay bar back in 2002

Jeremy Thomas:
Anyone know where Josh or Helena are now?

Singha: went on to become a chef at the Concerto, then disappeared back in 2004 after returning from a trip to LA with Malcolm De Witt

Singha: Helena disappeared in Jan of 2002, I think

Singha: either that or 2003

Singha: but I think it was 2002, pretty sure

Singha: No, sorry, my bad, Dec of 2002.  Trev brought 3 slaves to some leather parties back in mid 2002.

Singha: josh, Helena, and one male who was completely hooded and swathed in leather.

Singha: He loaned out Josh and the hooded male but wouldn't let any others touch Helena besides himself.

Jeremy Thomas:
Hmmm.  No finding Helena or Josh, probably.  Anyone ever see the hooded man's face?  Do they know people that Trevor loaned him out to that he can talk to?

Singha: The parties were held at the Hell nightclub, back when Dominic White owned it.

Jeremy Thomas:
Which is no more, of course.  Damn fire.

Singha: nobody knows for sure who the hooded one was but there was conjecture it was Malcolm Dewitt

Jeremy Thomas:
He'll try to get a physical description of Helena, see if he can match that to anyone he knows who's associated with OWW.

Jeremy Thomas: ((*Blinks*  Did Michelle ever actually get Satu's name?))

Singha: She was a tall, good looking brunette in her mid twenties, with brown eyes and a sultry voice.

Singha: ((yeah she'd know it was Jinchiro Satu))

Jeremy Thomas:
Next question: Any of the hookers able to guess at Capt. Blood's current wherabouts?

Singha: Ah, well...Captain Blood was seen at the shootout of that one gay bar in mid 2004.

Singha: and the Italian's MO was kind of different from Capt's inasmuch as the Italian would pick blonde girls up for rough trade and the girls would never return (most people think he killed them), and Blood would pick up blonde girls and ~hurt~ them severely and never harm them.

Jeremy Thomas:
So no current information whatsoever.  Great.  He still gives them the money, tells them to spread the word about Alexis Donovan and her unborn child, and to spread the word that Captain Blood may been the one that kidnapped her.

Singha: Well, wait, you rolled good so I'm giving you lots of info.

Jeremy Thomas:
Oh, okay.  Thought that was it.  DLP.  ;-)

Singha: The Italian stopped coming around in Sept. 2004.  Some street kid named Discard starting asking around about Blood and the Italian

Singha: then in Dec, a whole mess of Asians started asking around about the Italian, and about the girls who disappeared when he hired them

Singha: the Asians paid alot of good money and seemed to know more about the Italian and the girls than they let on..  like they'd been following him around for a while.

Singha: They paid some girls to claim the Italian beat them up and raped them, if anyone came asking round about the disappearance of the other girls

Singha: so Jer gets alot of that story...

Singha: and about the Asians thinking the Italian and Captain Blood were the same person.

Singha: but not being able to prove it.

Singha: then in mid January, word got out that the Italian was a mafia guy who was killed by his bosses, because they didn't like him killing all their prostitutes.  it was bad for business.

Singha
:
so some girls on the street say the Asians set up the Italian to be killed by his mafia bosses, and others say that the Italian deserved what he got from his bosses

Singha: but at any rate he was killed in January.  But then, like...mid march, somebody started picking up blondes in Jersey and TS and such, and beating the everliving ~crap~ out of them, leaving them tied up and helpless with a grand or two stuffed up their cunts.

Singha: but the victims are invariably so traumatized from the pain that they have trouble remember what the guy ~looked~ like

Singha: so that's why the rumor started that Cap'n Blood was back, because that was his M.O before.

Jeremy Thomas:
Any pattern to where he picks people up?

Singha: first few were in Staten Island and Jersey

Singha: then he moved to TS, then to some spot in Brooklyn and the Bronx

Singha: then back to Staten Island, then nothing

Singha: then about a week later, TS again

Singha: then a few days ago, Brooklyn

Singha: so the pattern was:  a cluster of 2-3 per night in mid march for about 4 days, all SI and Jersey.  then a few days later, 1 per night from TS for about 3 nights (and this differed also from Captian Blood because he was specifically taking blacks, not white blondes) then 1 every other night in Brooklyen and Bronx, then nothing

Singha: then 1 in Staten.  1 in TS.  then 1 in Brooklyn

Jeremy Thomas:
Hmmm....so South to North, more or less.  Gotcha.

Singha: well, it's actually a big loop

Jeremy Thomas:
Well, yeah.  A Counter-clockwise loop, more or less.  Widdershins.

Singha: no, it's Sunwise

Singha: Staten to Jersey is south to west, then TS is east/north, then north Bronx then east to Brooklyn, then back south to staten

Singha: but notably avoiding Queens

Jeremy Thomas:
Ah, okay.  You said kept saying Brooklyn and Bronx, so I assumed Brooklyn was first.  Okay, got it.

Singha: each location was also within a half mile of the waterfront and close to subway stations

Singha: yeah he only did like one in the Bronx

Jeremy Thomas:
So in theory, Staten should be next, if he's down to one each.

Singha: *nods*

Singha: if he's going according to the pattern

Singha: it's notable also that only about a quarter of the girls say he actually fucked them, or even got a blow job.

Singha: he seemed far more interested in causing pain than in sex.

Singha: when he did have sex it was because the pain got him so excited he couldn't stop.

Singha: but he ~never~ had sex with any of the blacks he picked up

Singha: and seemed to go back to blondes after that long disappearance of 10 days or so

Jeremy Thomas:
Is there anything else he gets from them?

Singha: he gets that ~some~ of the women are petrifed of Blood, some are strangely in love with him, and some are both

Singha: also that those who were closest to the girls who disappeared after going off with the Italian have a strange...respect for the man.  They don't seem to hate him like they should.

Jeremy Thomas:
Understandable.  He taught them their place, though he doesn't vocalize that, of course.

Singha: and for the $100 they'll spread the word about the kidnapping

Singha: but most of 'em want more to pin it on Blood since they're quite sure if they cross him, he'll kill them

Jeremy Thomas:
He'll give them an extra $50, and max out his credit card for more operating cash later.  And tells them for the extra 50, he wants them to spread the word to the other boroughs.

Singha: if he asks the Doc, he'll get 5000 cash delivered to his safehouse

Jeremy Thomas:
Okay, cool.

Singha: so, anything else you wanted to do on the Jer front?

Jeremy Thomas:
He'll go umbral in Staten Island, around the places Trevor usually hits, and start watching for his umbral signature.

Jeremy Thomas:
He'll do the usual spots, one a night, and then check during the day to see if any girls were nabbed in the other spots.

Singha: roll per+occ

Jeremy Thomas:
 2,6,8,4,5,

Singha: she sees the OOW umbral reflection.  From it's position, it looks like he's in a car

Singha: not she. Doh. Jer

Jeremy Thomas:
Yeah, I guessed as much.  Michelle ain't lookin' for no psychos.  *G*

Jeremy Thomas:
Besides Michael, that is.  :-) Okay, so about what time would this be?  A time where the streets aren't so busy that his car will be slowed, I assume?

Singha: this is tonight?

Singha: probably around 11 pm

Singha: Staten Island isn't a bit traffic town. *G*

Singha: big

Jeremy Thomas:
*NOD*  And you don't go picking up hookers in rush hour.  :-)

Singha: *G*

Jeremy Thomas:
He's just sitting there at the moment?  Not moving?

Singha: the car cruises up and he's stopped for a few miutes while they neg

Jeremy Thomas:
Crap.  No time to get out and follow.  He'll try and follow umbrally as best he can, switching to Crinos in order to do so.

Jeremy Thomas:
And, he'll probably be noticed, as he's not a great driver, much less a car tailer.

Singha: so he's switching to Crinos or lupus?

Singha: since lupus can run much farther for much longer times?

Jeremy Thomas:
Lupus, then.  I always think Crinos is better, for some reason.  :-P

Singha: Crinos is slighty quicker but lupus has the STA for running

Singha: so roll per+occ to keep the guy in site, then dex+ath to keep up with the car

Jeremy Thomas:
((Spending WP for Athletics roll, btw.))

Jeremy Thomas:
10,10,8,2,8,

Jeremy Thomas: 4,2,4,3,

Jeremy Thomas:
Crap.

Singha: well, it's harder than he thought it would be to keep up with the car but he barely manages to do it

Singha: good think he's got a good enough umbral eyesight to keep the OWW locked, and that Staten is less citified and more rural than other places so it's easier to keep a visual lock cause there's really very few buildings that are old enough to give an umbral reflection

Singha: or famous enough

Jeremy Thomas:
*NOD*  Runrunrunrunrun...

Singha: the car goes about 5 miles south, then turns into a expensive manor house that is old enough to have a reflection

Singha: well, turns down the drive to such a manor house

Jeremy Thomas:
He stops, goes Homid, and steps out of the Umbra, going to find a pay phone to call the Doctor and tell him where Trevor is.

Singha: He notes the OWW glancing around before entering the house

Singha: does he try to hide?

Jeremy Thomas:
Hell yes!  Rolling my Deximus+Stealthimus now.

Jeremy Thomas:
And spending a WP on this as well.  God, Jer's going to need to be NICE to Lex when he gets back...

Jeremy Thomas:
5,9,1,

Jeremy Thomas:
Yeah, it's all over now.  :-P

Singha: He gets the distinct impression OWW is staring ~through~ the gauntlet at him.

Singha: but he can't be sure if the guy sees him or not.

Jeremy Thomas:
Fuck.  Yeah, gotta move quick, then.  Book it hard to a pay phone, call the Doc.  And remember to ask Lex if she can dedicate things to him.  Like a cell phone and a tranq gun.

Singha: ok so how far away does he go before crossing over and where does he call from?

Jeremy Thomas:
Maybe a block, and he calls from the nearest phone he can find.

Singha: well, he's out in the upscale boonies, not so many blocks as estates

Singha: and pay phones not so close around

Jeremy Thomas:
A football field's worth away, then.  And he'll look around...anybody driving by?

Singha: not really

Singha: its 11 pm people are in bed usually. *G*

Jeremy Thomas:
Then he'll try to break into a house that looks like everyone's asleep, to steal a cell phone or laptop, using Open Seal to do so.

Singha: are his clothes dedicated?

Singha: there are lots of security gates, he could use one of the intercoms to contact the doc if you want.

Jeremy Thomas:
Nope.  Which is why he's trying to be sneaky and steal something.  Does he know if the Doctor can communicate with Lupus Garou or not?

Singha: why couldn't he?

Jeremy Thomas:
I dunno.  Just making sure.  :-)

Jeremy Thomas:
He'll go back Lupus, then, and approach a security gate intercom, quietly informing the Doctor about where Trevor is.  If anyone sees him, maybe they'll just think he's a big dog.  It's late, light isn't always good.  :-)

Singha: so he goes to the gate, presses the button, and waits for a response?

Jeremy Thomas:
Yeah.  Not Trevor's house, obviously, one of the other ones.

Singha: "Yes, Dream?"

Jeremy Thomas:
~WS~ I've found the One Who Watches, Doctor.  He's in a manor house in Staten Island...he brought a whore there.  I don't know how much longer he'll remain."  A pause.  ~WS~ "He may have seen me, through the Gauntlet.  I didn't realize he was capable of that."

Singha: there's a pause, then "Do you know the exact location?"

Jeremy Thomas:
~WS~ "One minute, Doctor."  He looks around for a street sign.

Singha: he's on a two lane road no street sign around but he does see the addy for the house he's at

Jeremy Thomas:
~WS~ "It is the house X streets down from XXX."

Jeremy Thomas:
~WS~ "Do you require a more specific address, Doctor? I can try, but it will be difficult to do if he is looking for me."

Singha: (sorry hunny being a jerk inflicting hungry parrots on me))

Jeremy Thomas:
((No prob.  :-) ))

Singha: ((plus I'm actually having trouble figuring out what the doc would do in this instance))

Jeremy Thomas:
((Gotcha.  Hey, Doc wanted Trevor, Jer found him.  *G*))

Singha: ((jer did a great job. *G*))

Singha: ((just sort of expected Jer to try and take Trev down.))

Jeremy Thomas:
((Ah, c'mon.  Jer's a lot of things right now...sick, twisted, and evil foremost on the list....but dumb, he ain't.  This IS Master Trevor.  And if he couldn't take Karlos, he's not going after Trev solo, unarmed.))

Singha: ((*nods*  O btw, Johnny calls Michelle and tells her he knows where Sonja is and they can go after her

Jeremy Thomas:
((Damn, she was hoping that would take him a while.  *G*))

Singha: ((hunny just got home, I need to eat and we might go to the flicks, so can we pause this.  My big problem is figuring out how it will work story wise if they capture Trev tonight))

Singha: ((like how and if it will screw up all the other peeps who are trying to resolve the story))

Jeremy Thomas:
((*NOD*  Gotcha.))

Jeremy Thomas:
http://www.geocities.com/ravynfeather/apr9-karlos-ang-reyna-laidan-andrew.htm

Singha: ((but Michelle, Sam, Arlett and whoever else can go harrass Sonja (or even kidnap her, if you like and if that player agrees. *G*))

Jeremy Thomas:
Okie.  :-)

Singha: thanks

Jeremy Thomas:
NP

Jeremy Thomas:
Phoen did most of it, anyway.  I just put it all together and uploaded.
