Chimal Miquiztli: Once in, he seats himself at a big table and politely motions for menus, in case anyone wants a nibble, too.

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik chuckles softly watching Eddie for a moment as they move to the table and sit down, then he grabs the napkin server from the table and uses it's reflective surface to point it Eddie's way...* "That new color.." *He chuckles more...

Brianna McCarthy: She tucks her instrument safely away, and then flops into a chair, trying to push curls out of her face.

Eddie: *wanders in, puzzled* an ornament? why would anybody do a crazy thing like that? *scratches her head* what--did they wrap her in tissue paper and store her in the attic in between decorating schemes she'd match, too?

Eddie: eh? *blinks at herslef. and grins. and laughs* oooohhhh! hey, thought i'd try out a new look. *cheerful shrug*

Brianna McCarthy: "Some familes do reeeaaaallly weird things with their kin." She snorts. "Mine taught me how to kick people's asses." A grin.

Chimal Miquiztli: "You'll have to ask her father," he tells Eddie with a grimace. "Needless to say, it's a long, slow process getting her to understand her value. She's doing quite well, though."

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik chuckles more as he sets the napkin server back down, the folder of his going under his arm as he glance over the menu for a moment before setting it down, gaze going over the three...

Chimal Miquiztli: Brianna: Chuckles. "That's a good way to go. My uncle believed in education and the freedom to choose what one wants to do with their life. What they want to learn, what their talents are, not forcing anyone into a particular role. I'm hoping to carry on his work here, once I'm more established. It's a part of the reason, in a roundabout way, I wish to become more involved with the Concerto."

Chimal Miquiztli: He orders a tall mocha and a plate of jalapeno poppers. "Order whatever you like."

Eddie: *chuckles to Bri* bet you're better than i am. *blinks happily* Brian says i'm ready to take the test for my next belt. i'm psyched! but kinda nervous, ya know? *nods happily to Chimal* good deal. i grew up fighting the feeling that i ain't worth shit. her dad must've been an idiot.

Brianna McCarthy: "Mmm." Her look is thoughtful. "I could never work for the Concerto in any other capacity than how I am now. Just couldn't."

Brianna McCarthy: She actually ordes tea.

Eddie: *ponders teh menu. picks cookies and a root beer*

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik tilts his head at the mentioning of the Concerto...* "That's the second time I have heard the mention of the Concerto... What is it?"

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik goes about ordering a coffee for himself...

Eddie: *blinsk at Jaik* hum. *leans forward and lwoers her voice. AFTER everyone's ordered* nuetral HQ, dude. peace zone. you meet your worst enemy there, and in the turf around it, you stay chill and do ~nothing~ to start anythign at all. on the face, though, it's a really posh place. they have good food!

Brianna McCarthy: "It's a club in Downtown." Shr cocks her head. "Very nice place, I play there. It has a other couple important things about it though." She glances to Chimal. He can handle that.

Brianna McCarthy: Or Eddie's got it. Awesome.

Chimal Miquiztli: Eddie: "I understand. I grew up in filth, poverty and neglect, until my uncle intervened. He saved my life. He and my grandmother both, may her spirit rest." He looks to Jaikula, and when the waitress leaves, "It's an upscale club." Then more quietly, "Those of the Neutral party work for it, on behalf of the Treaty between the multiple factions in the city."

Eddie: and he..*nods to Chi, settling back* can tell you more, no doubt. *grins to Bri* i wish you played at lunch. love to hear you. but i am not going there after six. the Eddie does not do the evil known as a "dress".

Eddie: *nods to Chi* i grew up in the fostercare system. *shrugs* there's other issues involved i dun care to go into at the moment, though. *a wry grin* yer uncle and Granma sound cool. i'd not mind meeting him, and wish i could've met her.

Brianna McCarthy: She laughs quietly. "I play in the park sometimes. I'll give you a heads up next time I do it."

Chimal Miquiztli: Brianna: Quietly, "Karlos told me to talk to Jody, but she hasn't returned my call yet. I'll give it a few more days, then try again, I guess. It's what I want to do, more than anything. It has meaning to me."

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik nods slightly listening to the explainations of the Concerto and smile slightly at the mentioning of family, then frowns slightly to something and quickly gets his cellphone out and starts txt'ing a msg...

Eddie: *perks up to Bri, grinning happily* awesome! i'd love that. hey...you want my number? *she doesn't act like a Garou to a Kin. she acts like a friendly person towards someone she thinks would be a good friend*

Chimal Miquiztli: Eddie: A faint smile. "My uncle is a stern, forbidding man. He is under six feet and yet is as tall as any mountain. His nature isn't warm and loving, but he knows how to bring out the strength in people. I love and respect him above all others."

Brianna McCarthy: "Sure." She grins to Eddie, and smiles faintly to Chimal. "I could just never do it. There are people I would die for in a heartbeat. I'm too loyal to them."

Eddie: *chuckles softly and nods* one of the few decent fosterfamilies i was with had the mom's dad living nearby. he took an active hand in his grandkids' lives. including us fosterlings. we called him Hank or we got growled at. he was rough and ready, tough as nails and crusty as an old gym sock. but a damn fine person.

Eddie: *beams at Bri andswipes a napkin, then begs a pen off a passsing waitperson to jot down her number* thank you, Brianna. my singing's awful. but i love good music.

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik looks back up from his phone as he sends the message, keeping it out as he waits for a reply back, gaze going down to his phone as it beeps the reply, nodding slightly to something as he txt's back...

Brianna McCarthy: "Anything can be beautiful with passion behind it." murmur, and she writes her own in return for Eddie.

Chimal Miquiztli: Brianna: "I have friends, of course, but otherwise I have no set loyalties." He grins. "I'm fascinated by what they're attempting to accomplish, and it suits me better than," very lowered voice, "a pack. I know, that seems unnatural, but it's the way I am."

Eddie: *an impish grin* even someone cussing blue cuz they got out of bed in the dark, stubbed their toe, and managed to smash a knee into a coffee table just beofre they bounce their head off the dorrjamb? *eyes twinkle merrily* the first truly passionate thing i ever heard was that. i laughed until i passed out cuz i couldn't stop laughing long enough to ~breathe~.

Brianna McCarthy: "Not unnatural, I guess. Merely different- everybody runs their own path. And I am what I am, my family." A wry, almost proud, grin. "We love, and we love fiercly."

Chimal Miquiztli: He sips at his mocha with a slow, languid sip, his dark eyes watching the others.

Brianna McCarthy: She snickers at Eddie.

Jaikula Freedom: ((Who say where in relation at the table, did Brianna sit next to Jaik, or opposite him?))

Chimal Miquiztli: Brianna: "And that, mi amiga, is beautiful, too." He smiles.

Brianna McCarthy: ((Uh.... I have no idea. Its 1am, why are you asking me to think? *L*))

Eddie: *happily programs Bri's number into her phone. she'll lose the napkin, she just knows it! and chuckles to Chi* me, i'm the opposite. i think i'm gonna work better with a group than solo. i kinda need someone to make sure i dun give in to my own personal dark side. i can be a bit flighty sometimes, you see. i can get off on tangents when i shouldn't.

Aerin Thomas: He steps into the cafe, taking a deep breath and letting it out in a sigh as he does. The man is dressed in his usual leather trenchcoat, green dress shirt, and black slacks, hair pulled back in a ponytail, and his eyes scan the cafe, looking for a table.

Brianna McCarthy: ((Gaah. I'm falling asleep *L* Bri slips out to hed home *loves on all* Thanks for allowing me a quick entrance.))

Chimal Miquiztli: Eddie: "Bueno. You know yourself well, then." Soft chuckle as he delicately pops a popper neatly into his mouth."

Eddie: be safe, Brianna. *grins happily* hey--i hope you like strawberry cheesecake bars. yer gonna get some. *cheerfully informs the woman. and waves happily to Aerin* score! my lucky night. me and a whole table of cuties. *giggles*

Chimal Miquiztli: He looks to Aerin, then gives the man a slow, mellow nod.

Eddie: *chuckles to Chi and shrugs lightly. casually attempting to swipe one of his poppers* yep. i mean--i do work and all but still...*shrugs* good thing i'm hyper cuz it means i dun eat until i turn into a giant slug-wench.

Aerin Thomas: 2,3,1,5,10,7,

Chimal Miquiztli: He pushes out the plate for everyone to share, so Eddie doesn't have to sneak, unless she prefers to.

Aerin Thomas: A quick glance around the room, and he notes the group. He moves closer out of curiosity, smiling and giving Chimal a nod. Eddie gets a wave. "Hey, guys. S'up?"

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik casts a glance in Brianna's direction for a moment, then back to his phone as it beeps a reply msg before he pats at his pockets for his pen but stops as Brianna slips away from the table excusing herself, thne picks his coffee up and takes a sip from it, slightly thoughtful look coming to his face for a moment...

Eddie: *gets that impish look in her eye* ok. now you're going to find out why i'm not a singer....*clears her throat and serenades--he's so fine"*

Chimal Miquiztli: Aerin: "Will you join us? I believe you know Eddie, but I'm uncertain if you've met Jaikula. Order what you like, my treat." One leaves, another arrives. He remains content.

Eddie: 5,8,5,

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik focuses onto Aerin and smiles slightly to him..* "Hello..." ((Any need for a DD?))

Chimal Miquiztli: A faint wince. "Eddie..." he pleads.

Eddie: *at leat she doesn't get them kicked out! laughs at herself and happily eats another popper. deposits a cookie on the edge of Chi's plate*

Eddie: *giggles happily at Chimal* told you so! *smirks widely*

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik chuckles slightly at Eddie's singing and shakes his head slightly to it...

Chimal Miquiztli: "I believed you!"

Aerin Thomas: ((No, Jaik, I know your DD. *G*)) A nod to Jaikula. "Nice to meet you...Aerin Thomas." He looks the man over, noting his breeding, and take an open seat.

Eddie: *chortles* but now..you have proof to back up your belief. so if ever you're around and someone's dense enough to try and convince me to, like, do a karaoke night.....you'll know it's time to either smack soem sense into them, or buy me some sticky toffee to eat so i can't open my mouth for singing.

Jaikula Freedom: "Jaikula Freedom..." *He takes a sip of his coffe...*

Eddie: how ya doing, Aerin? and how can you stand to wear that trench in this weather. guh! *fans herself. tank and short shorts. with boots. girl's gotta have fine boots, right?*

Aerin Thomas -> Jaikula Freedom: ((you need Aerin's?))

Chimal Miquiztli: "Thick caramel," he murmurs, with another sip of his mocha.

Aerin Thomas: "I'm a fashion victim, Eddie...what can I say?" A grin to the woman.

Jaikula Freedom -> Aerin Thomas: ((Yep... ))

Aerin Thomas -> Jaikula Freedom: Jeremy is a very average-looking person. He stands 5'11", and is a little bit thin at 145 pounds. At 28 years of age, he still has a baby-face, despite the goatee he's wearing, he is commonly mistaken for 18-20 years old. His hair, a medium-brown, goes down to about his mid-back, and is pulled back into a ponytail. As stated before, he has a very youthful face, with bright blue eyes that flash with intelligence and full cheeks. His right canine is missing, but that's neither here nor there. Something about his features suggests maybe a Welsh origin. He's dressed in a red button-down shirt, black slacks, with a black leather trench coat over the whole thing. He is also never without his military- surplus backpack, an olive-colored thing that holds his belongings. (CoG PB 3)

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik chuckles softly to Eddie..* "ABout the same way I can wear my leather jacket when I'm off duty.."

Eddie: *nods happily to Chimal* exactly. *stage-whispers to Aerin* see, give peeps a good enough reason and they'll keep feeding you. *giggles softly and nudges Chi's shoulder, gently, in play. and eats a cookie, waving at the plate, and the rest of the table to indicate they're welcome to help themselves*

Chimal Miquiztli: Jaikula: "Off duty...I've forgotten, what is it that you do?"

Aerin Thomas: He stage-whispers back. "Good plan." A wink to Eddie.

Eddie: *shake sher head with mock sadness* men. too stoic for their own good sometimes. *heaves a theatrical sigh, rollign her eyes skyward* why can't more of them be sensible, like us logical and calm women? excpet for Chi, who is NOT wearing leather in this heat, proving that he's smart enough to know better. and besides, he's the one buying snakcs tongith. *grins*

Jaikula Freedom: "I'm an EMT.." ((Jaik's in his EMT uniform))

Eddie: *giggles happily to Aerin. oh, and her lips and tongue are an interesting purple, due to the snowcone she just finished. the empty wrapper is crumpled in front of her, actually*

Chimal Miquiztli: "Ah, sí. Like it says on your jacket." Laughs at himself. Eddie: "I usually *do* wear leather, just not tonight."

Eddie: *grins to Jaik* and you're off the clock currently.

Aerin Thomas: A smirk. "Yeah, well...you know. I never claimed to be a mastermind. Check that, I did when I was evil. Not anymore."

Eddie: *laughs at Chi* oy! although i admit i'm gonna like wearing mine once the weather cools again. thing is--i wear leather right now i'm going to melt. whoever said that women don't sweat, they glow would be ~blinded~ by my "glow" if i did.

Nabiki: Struts into the cafe.

Nabiki: Her ebony skin is only a shade lighter than her hair which stands but a quarter inch off her skull. High cheek bones give her face a wide look, the jaw understated, lips full. Her build is lean and graceful. She stands a full 6’ tall and might be in her mid to late twenties. Piercing, amber eyes suggest an intelligent and curious nature.

Eddie: *grins to Aerin* and you aren't evil any more, which shows hope that maybe you can be taught new tricks. like......not wearing leather in "fry eggs on the asphalt" weather. although it's not really too bad today. *she adds as an afterthought*

Jaikula Freedom: *He smiles slightly to Eddie...* "Nope... Finished for the evening..." *He takes another sip of his coffee, gaze shifting over to Aerin for a moment, eyes studying slightly before he remembers something and pulls his phone out..* "Which reminds me.." *Fingers moving over the keypad quickly as he chuckles...* "If I dont let me a certain sister of mine know that I am going to be later she will be after me..."

Chimal Miquiztli: He leans back in his chair, listening to the banter.

Aerin Thomas: 2,10,2,7,8,10,

Aerin Thomas: He smirks at Eddie's response and looks up...then blinks, surprised by the woman who just walked in through the door. "Holy Goddess." It's not the look of 'Whoa, hot chick,' but rather recognition of one he hadn't expected to see here. At all.

Eddie: *grins at Chi* you look comfy.

Nabiki: 5,6,4,9,7,4,

Chimal Miquiztli: He glances at whomever Aerin is looking at, regarding Nabiki thoughtfully. Eddie: "I am. Quite."

Eddie: urm? *blinks at Aerin and looks over. hey, pretty lady. looks back to Aerin* we need another chair? *grins cheerfully*

Aerin Thomas: "Excuse me, folks." He gets up and steps away from the table, surprise turning into a warm smile, as he heads toward Nabiki.

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik glances up from his phone as he hits the send button on his msg, then tilts his head to where Aerin's looking then back again...

Nabiki: Her lips part ever so slightly, as amber eyes that border on gold, slowly take in the room, dwelling a moment on Aerin. Was that a wink or a blink? She prowls to the counter and orders a cappuccino, which she adds cream to.

Eddie: good. *chuckles softly to Chi and nibbles a cookie* anybody seen dark water yet? i'm kinda debating on going.

Eddie: sure thing, Aerin. *grins after him, waving a cookie*

Chimal Miquiztli: "I haven't. I went to Charlie and the Chocolate Factor and, frankly, wasn't impressed. Maybe I'll give Dark Water a try."

Nabiki: Her lips slowly curl into a mysterious smile, tongue flicking out to lick the plastic spoon, gold eyes on the approaching Aerin.

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik looks to Eddie at her question and shakes his head slightly...* "I wish I could get time to see things... But when I'm not working I'm busy with other things..." *He gives a soft sigh, then glances to his phone as it beeps and chuckles softly and puts it away...

Eddie: *nods* tried to see that one, but had to leave before the previews were over. i love kids, but the theatre was packed with them. and when one started screaming, they ALL did. fifty kids screaming all at once is a bit much for my poor ears. *chuckles* if you can't find anyone to go with, i'll see dark water with you. i love horror flicks. hopefully this one won't be too cheesy, you know?

Aerin Thomas: He moves up to the counter, grinning a little to the woman buying her coffee. "I don't remember you for a coffee person...of course, my memory sucks these days, so take that for what it's worth."

Eddie: *nods to Jaik and chuckles* see, that's the benefit of working odd jobs like i do. i can come close to making my own hours.

Chimal Miquiztli: "Psychological horror tends to be good, if it's done well. Though I admit to a fondness for stupid splatter flicks." Smirks.

Jaikula Freedom: "I just wish they would make up their minds if they want me on the afternoon shift or night shift... But the other things arent exactly something that have their own times for..." *He takes another sip of his coffee...

Nabiki: She leans close and lets her cheek touch Aerin's ever so softly, warm breath on his ear as she whispers his name, turning a single word into a greeting, a sense of him being missed, and no doubt other deeper meanings.

Nabiki -> Aerin Thomas: "Jeremy," she whispers in his ear.

Eddie: *nods happily* i LOVE gorefests. i always wanted to be an actress. a specific kind. i wanted to be the "screama nd die" chick. you know, the one who runs through the woods in a tight mini and heels, falling every three steps but managing to stay just a little ahead of the icky after her. and finds a shack--there always seems to be a shack--that she runs into...and then she promptly gets caught by the icky. so she screams loudly and flaps her hands uselessly...and dies. messily, with much gore.

Eddie: *nods to Jaik with a cheery smirk* i kinda like my current lifestyle.

Aerin Thomas: He shows to hesitance at the closeness, and smiles a little bit, eyes both warm and a little sad, whispering something back.

Aerin Thomas -> Nabiki: "It's Aerin now, Sister." The words convey that sense of kinship he always felt toward the others...no less, for him, even now that they aren't an organized group. "A better fit for me."

Aerin Thomas: ((to=no))

Jaikula Freedom: *He smiles, then chuckles softly and nods...* "Live it while you can..." *Perhaps a hidden meaning behind his words, but it's hard to tell... He finishes his coffee...* "I should be going... Got some notes to catch up on..." *a slight tap of the folder with his finger before he picks it up and stands up...

Chimal Miquiztli: Smirks. "We're definitely going to have to go to some movies together. I haven't ventured the idea of gore flicks to Catie yet. I'm not sure how she'd react."

Nabiki: She gently catches his chin in her hand, eyes staring directly into his a moment. "You've grown." And then she's brushing past him towards the tables, a glance over the shoulder inviting him to follow.

Chimal Miquiztli: He nods to Jaikula. "Drop by for dinner some time. I'll try to see that Spook is there, too, if you haven't met him yet."

Eddie: be safe, Jaik. *grins cheerfully to him, with a wave. and nods happily to Chi* that'd be fun! it's more fun to see horror flicks with someone of like mind, too. *laughs* i like some sci-fi, too, but mostly the horror sci fi with a high splatter factor.

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik nods to Chimal..* "Hopefully my schedule will allow it... But I need to speak with you again at some point about some matters.." *He gets his wallet out and pulls a business card out and holds it out for Chimal..* "My number is on there, let me know where and when when the time is best..."

Aerin Thomas: "I have." He turns to follow her to a table, throwing a look and a nod to Chimal and Jaikula.

Aerin Thomas: And Eddie.

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik smiles to Eddie...* "I'm always safe..." *His gaze going back to Chimal

Chimal Miquiztli: "Catie wanted the entire Howling set, so perhaps she would be game for it." He takes Jaik's card. "Gracias. I'll talk to Catie and um, her cooking *is* getting better. It's edible now."

Nabiki: Oh look, she's heading for the table he left. Amber eyes play over Chi, Eddie and the departing Jaik. "Might we join you?" Her accent thick as ever.

Jaikula Freedom: *Jaik nods and smiles slightly, then starts for the door, nodding to Aerin as he makes his way out...

Eddie: *grins to Aerin...and nods happily to the lady* i don't mind at all. have a cookie.

Jaikula Freedom: ((well, gtg, leaflets are calling me... bleh! lol..))

Nabiki: "I om Nabiki," she says, settling into a chair and helping herself to a cookie.

Chimal Miquiztli: He catches Aerin's look and nods that it's okay.

Chimal Miquiztli: ((DLP)) He nods to Nabiki with a warm smile. "Of course, please do. I am Chimal." Thick Mexican accent, excellent English.

Eddie: *blinks* the howling? hey,i haven't seen those in years! *giggles* i'm particularly fond of zombie flicks. if you haven't seen.....hmmm...day of the dead yet, you should. extremely high gore factor, there. i think it was made in the eighties or something,b ut it's just cool.

Eddie: i'm Eddie. *grins and offers the woman a hand cheerfully* Nabiki's a cool name.

Nabiki: "A playzure." Shenips the cookie, sampling it, then crossing her long legs under the table.

Chimal Miquiztli: "I didn't see that one, but I recently saw the remake of Dawn of the Dead, and if you really want a giggle, try *Shawn* of the Dead, the British spoof of it."

Nabiki: She shakes Eddie's hand. "I particularly liked Shaun of day Dead."

Chimal Miquiztli: Nabiki: "Help yourself to jalapeno poppers or cookies, por favor. If you would like to order anything, I'm still buying."

Aerin Thomas: He takes a seat next to Nabiki, resting comfortable. "Nabiki is an old, close friend of mine. One I haven't seen in quite a few months." He smiles ot her. "It's good to see you, though. How are you?"

Eddie: *nods and grins* i've heard about that one! haven't been able to scare up a copy yet, but i wanna check it out. *laughs softly. and blinks at her watch. frowns, and taps it* uhoh. i think talk of zombies scared my watch to death. so watch out--we might soon have a zombie-watch crawling about, looking for batteries to eat. *grins*

Nabiki: "Dot eze very kind of you, Chimal."

Eddie: *grins to Nabiki* that's two votes for that flick. i ~must~ snag a copy, then. *grins* nice to meet you, by the way.

Aerin Thomas: "It's a great movie, Eddie. Toss my vote in."

Eddie: *nods and laughs* i'll totally do my best.

Nabiki: Eddie> "Likewize."

Chimal Miquiztli: He finishes his mocha, quietly enjoying the atmosphere.

Nabiki: "Maybe we should go rent it ond hov a zombie fest, eh?"

Eddie: *giggles* that'd be fun. mmm, can't do it tonight, though. *cheerful blink* i forgot to go to sleep yesterday, and it's beginning to catch up with me. last time i didn't sleep for a few days, i made a rather bad mistake. so i dun wanna risk it again unles si have to.

Chimal Miquiztli: He chuckles. "That sounds like fun."

Eddie: we do it, like...next week or something, and my place's free for it. *chuckles* it's a small place, but i have lots of food. if you like spicy food, that is. *grins*

Nabiki: Eddie> "Quite understondable."

Chimal Miquiztli: "As spicy as you can make it," he says with a grin.

Eddie: *nods ruefully to Nabiki* thanks. *chuckles*

Nabiki: "I hov been known to eat spicy." Amusement in her tone.

Nabiki: Sips her creamy cappuccino.

Eddie: *snickers to Chi* oh no--i won't cook it. i babysit a lot. my moms mostly pay me in food--and they tend to make Thai, Mexican *eyes twinkle at that*, and Cajun stuff for me cuz they know i like it hot. that's what we'll be eating. see...i like you. so i won't make you think i'm trying to poison you by forcing you to eat my cooking.

Aerin Thomas: He sits back, watching them talk for a moment, comfortable. His eyes occasionally flick to the window, to watch the outside. Bodyguard force of habit.

Eddie: *gives Aerin a wide grin* so....you're tough enough to take the heat in a trench..you tough enough to eat food that makes your eyes stream and your stomach belch fire?

Chimal Miquiztli: Eddie: "If you say so, but I've choked down Catie's first attempts." He smirks. "So I have a hardy stomach."

Aerin Thomas: He grins, and shakes his head. "Not that spicy, no. I like a little spice in my food, as in my life." A wink to the woman. "But note the words 'a little.'"

Eddie: *laughs* that bad, huh? glad to hear she's getting better, though. mmm....*blinks at the far wall, fascinated for a moment* ok. when the daily specials start wiggling around on the tagboard, and you're wondering if the letters are doing the cha-cha or the mambo...it's more than past time to get horizontal and commune with your inner eyelids. i'm for bed. nice to meet you, Nabiki. good to see both of you guys, Aerin, Chi. be safe, adn if you can't be good--be good at it! *laughs and stands up with a stretch*

Chimal Miquiztli: "Buenas noches, Eddie."

Nabiki: "Aerin con eat day tortillas, eh?" Grinning.

Aerin Thomas: "See you, Eddie. We still have to do that double-date with me and Ita, and you and Liam some time." A grin to her

Aerin Thomas: "See you, Eddie. We still have to do that double-date with me and Ita, and you and Liam some time." A grin to her.

Nabiki: "A playzure meeting you, Eddie. Parehops we meet again."

Eddie: aw, poor mild Aerin. *giggles* i'll feed you chinese, then. that's usually not too spicy. *laughs and begins wandering toward the door* at least one of you has my number--pass it out to the others if you dun mind, and we can all play phone tag and try to get a zombie fest set up...*waves and slides out the door*

Eddie: ((*weebles* seriously--the letters on my keyboard ARE starting to wiggle. it's kinda cool, but kinda makes it hard to type. *L* thanks, guys. i had fun....*cheek, meet keyboard. keybaord, meet cheek. snores*))

Nabiki: ((Night Eddie-p!))

Aerin Thomas: "I can do that." He grins to Nabiki. "And the mild salsa, too."

Aerin Thomas: ((*hugs de Eddie-P*))

Nabiki: "Salsa ond Chinese on tortillas. Soundz... wonderful."

Chimal Miquiztli: Smiles, listening to them. He takes the order slip from the waitress when she comes by, and sets cash on it, as well as a generous tip. "I should be going as well. Good to see you again, er, Aerin. It was nice to meet you, Nabiki."

Nabiki: "A playzure meeeting you oz well, Chimal."

Aerin Thomas: "What can I say...I have odd tastes." He grins at the woman, then nods to Chimal with a smile. "Good to see you, Chimal. Take care."

Chimal Miquiztli: He grins to them both and takes off. ((Thanks for the RP!))

Nabiki: ((Good night!)) She waits until Chimal is gone, then settles her gaze on Aerin. "New friends, since lost I saw you."

Aerin Thomas: A nod. "A lot of new friends...a lot of old ones, too." He watches her, a small smile playing on his lips. "How about yourself?"

Nabiki: "Note so many new ones, maybe yet some old, eh?"

Aerin Thomas: He chuckles a little. "Some old, I'm sure." A pause. "It's good to see you, Nabiki. Really good."

Nabiki: "Eet warms my heart to see you, Aerin." And she smiles warmly.

Aerin Thomas: A sigh, and he leans back, nodding to her. "So how have you been? What have you been up to?"

Nabiki: "Oh dis on dot, noting of note really. I found I woz meesing New York, so I return."

Aerin Thomas: He grins...he didn't expect much more then that from the always enigmatic woman. "Yeah, this place really seems to pull people back every time, doesn't it?"

Nabiki: Smiles. "You are steel here."

Aerin Thomas: He nods, smile quirking into something indescribable with a sigh. "Yeah, well...it's my home now, for better or worse. Often a lot of both, really."

Nabiki: "Day good ond day bod, day follow us no mattare ware we go, eh?"

Aerin Thomas: "You can say that again." He nods a little bit. "And like I said, lots of both."

Nabiki: "But you are managing well?"

Aerin Thomas: "Finally, yes." He nods. "It took me a while to get back to good, but I'm finally there."

Nabiki: "Den you are a successful mon." Smiling she reaches into a pocket and flips him a card, at first glance, it appears black, with nothing on it, but if he looks close, he'll find a phone number printed in shiny black ink on the matt black card. Nothing else, just a number in flowing script. "You call me some time, yes?"

Aerin Thomas: "I absolutely will, Nabiki." He takes the card, tucking it into his pocket. "You heading off?"

Ethan Anderson: Ethan slips tiredly into the restaurant and heads, quickly for a table, hip length blond braid swinging as he walks.

He's handsome in a classic, all-American sort of way, with a strong, clean face and sweet, cornflower blue eyes. Layered polos, green striped over white, with the collars turned up hug his broad shoulders to fall losely over a pair of slightly grass stained khaki pants.

Nabiki: Nods, rising, and leaning forward to lightly touch his nose with hers, before turning to go.

Aerin Thomas: He smiles a little at the gesture from Nabiki and smiles to her, eyes shining with warmth toward her. "Good night, Sister. I'm glad you're back...take care."

Nabiki: She winks over her shoulder at him and disappears out the door.

Ethan Anderson: Yawning, he tumbles himself into a booth and tugs a menu forward as his eyes flick lazily around the room.

Aerin Thomas: He smiles her way, then glances around the cafe, leaning back in his seat. His eyes pass over Ethan, and he nods to the young man amicably.

Nabiki: ((Sorry to leave just as you're arriving Ethan. Nighty night guys, I need sleep.))

Ethan Anderson: Ethan's eyes widen and then he blinks solemnly and returns the smile slowly, teeth catching quickly at the inside of his cheek.

Aerin Thomas: ((Night, hon! *Hugs*))

Ethan Anderson: ((Sokay hon! *HUG* night!))

Aerin Thomas: "Evening." He smiles to Ethan, and waves down a waitress, ordering a double mocha with shots of cherry and vanilla in it, plus an appetizer plate of fries and sauteed mushrooms.

Ethan Anderson: "E-evening." He nods and tugs a knee up to his chest, dropping his chin on it. "How are y-y..." he sighs. "You?" And the stutter monster strikes again...lame.

Ethan Anderson: ((Mine thank you room))

Ethan Anderson: ((*staple*))

Ethan Anderson: ((*sneaks up on the room and ties self down in it*))

Aerin Thomas: "I'm all right." The smile toward Ethan softens just a little. "How are you?"

Ethan Anderson: Well tanned cheeks flush, just slightly and his smile widens. "I'm g-ood. Over t-tired I think. Not usually this b-b-bad."

Aerin Thomas: He nods a little bit. "You mind if I join you at your table? Not usually a huge fan of eating alone."

Ethan Anderson: "Not at all." Ethan shakes his head, eyes watching Aerin as he approaches. "I-i'm Ethan."

Aerin Thomas: He gets up, moving to take a seat across from Ethan and smiling warmly to him. "Aerin. Nice to meet you." He reaches over with a hand in greeting.

Ethan Anderson: Aerin recieves a nice strong grip from the young man and a wider smile. Further conversation is forestalled a moment as the waitress approaches for his order. After a moments thought he orders a huge salad and a tall glass of water.

Aerin Thomas: He waits patiently for the waitress to take the order, then, once she's gone, he looks back to Ethan, leaning back comfortably. "So what do you do, Ethan."

Ethan Anderson: "I'm a v-vet tech. Was gonna go to s-school for my DVM but...Friend here needed me to come home...C-can't find him though."

Aerin Thomas: A bit of a frown. "Can't find him...as in, he's vanished?"

Ethan Anderson: "He moved. Met a couple of his friends. B-but I just got back yesterday. An i g-g-guess his dog d-died."

Aerin Thomas: "Ahh, okay." He relaxes a little. "That's too bad, about his dog."

Ethan Anderson: "Sh-she was a bitch," he says, voice tight. "Bu-ut I never wanted her dead."

Aerin Thomas: A faint nod. "Of course not." Sympathy shows in his eyes.

Ethan Anderson: "On the upside I w-won't get bit for hugging him anymore," he says brightly, a slightly sappy smile tugging his lips.

Aerin Thomas: A blink, and he nods. Resiliant little guy. "Yeah, there is always that, I guess." He smiles a bit. "This is a...fairly close friend of yours, I take it?"

Ethan Anderson: "My best friend," he murmurs, that little blush darkening. "H-he's like the only good thing right now."

Aerin Thomas: "The only good thing?" He looks at the young man, empathy toward him showing in his smile. "I'm sorry to hear that. At least there is him, though. Things aren't well, beyond that?"

Ethan Anderson: "K-kinda lost right now is all..."He shrugs and sips at his water. "Just moved here from Ch-chinook, Montanna, like two m-months ago? Four? Met him then h-had to leave to go to Ithaca to look at s-school. C-couldn't stay away." He smiles ruefully and pulls a small leather necklace from his shirt: wouldn't ya know its a small inverted triangle, obviously hand made and painted pink.

Karlos Basoalto: He strides in, head high, hair shifting a little in the breeze from the air curtain. He's wearing a Versace suit in black, with a black silk shirt. With his glossy black hair and swarthy skin, he's a stunner. Someone better snap him up and put him in a stud farm and milk that baby for all he's worth...

Ethan Anderson: 5,8,9,9,8,8,

Ethan Anderson: Ethan is alert enough even talking about Joey that his eyes flick to the door when Karlos walks in; they widen slowly and his bottom jaw sags, face dazzled.

Karlos Basoalto: He moves to the counter, ordering a bacon and cheese melt on wheat, and a glass of water.

Aerin Thomas: "Ahh, so you lived out closer to may original neck of the States." A smile. "I'm from Oregon, originally." He leans forward a little, resting his forearms on the table, his demeanor calm, even a little soothing. "New York City tends to be a little disorienting for the first few months, when you first get here. So I really know how you feel."

Aerin Thomas: 8,9,2,2,2,3,

Karlos Basoalto: He leans idly against the counter, waiting for his sub to be assembled and nuked.

Aerin Thomas: He follows Ethan's look toward the door, smile brightening when he sees Karlos come in. A nod of greeting to the man.

Ethan Anderson: He nods dumbly and tears his eyes away, fixing them on Aerin's face, which while nice, isn't quite as dauntingly handsome as Karlos'. "Huh? Um...S-sorry."

Karlos Basoalto: He glances toward the movement, and flashes a warm smile toward Aerin.

Aerin Thomas: He looks back to Ethan. "I was just saying I know how you feel, Ethan. Being out of sorts, new here, all that. Probably a little isolated, lone person in the big city, and all that, right?"

Ethan Anderson: "Y-yeah." The sweet smile turns utterly sheepish and he hides behind his waterglass. "F-first day here some g-guy threw me over his shoulder and tr-tried walking off with me."

Karlos Basoalto: There's a ding. He looks back to the waitress and pays, then carries his things over to Aerin's table, slipping with ease into a spare seat. "Room for a little one?"

Ethan Anderson: Ethan hunches down in his seat, tucking himself into the corner of the booth and dragging his big glass of water with him, eyes sliding, of their own accord back to Karlos.

Aerin Thomas: "Of course, Karlos...as long as Ethan doesn't mind." He looks to the young man. "Ethan, this is Karlos, a friend of mine. Karlos, Ethan."

Ethan Anderson: "H-h..."He blinks, mouth working for a handful of seconds before he can get it out. "Hello."

Karlos Basoalto: "Hey Ethan. Nice to meet you." He smiles warmly, offering the boy his hand.

Ethan Anderson: Swallowing, cheeks blazing, he shakes Karlos' hand quickly, his own slightly and embarassingly clammy.

Ethan Anderson: The blush fades and he relaxes slowly, smile blossoming on his handsome face. "Its g-good to meet you too, Sir."

Karlos Basoalto: ((Sorry, had to go see mum))

Karlos Basoalto: He smiles affably, not remotely threatening in spite of his sheer hawtness. "So how'd you two meet?" He starts eating his sub.

Ethan Anderson: He shrugs. "He i-invited himself to my table," he says with a smile as he plucks up his fork to push his salad around its plate.

Karlos Basoalto: He laughs softly. "Ah, that old favourite, huh?"

Aerin Thomas: "Asked, really." He smiles a little. "Ethan graciously said he didn't mind."

Ethan Anderson: He nods and lays down his fork to pluck up a dainty cherry tomatoe and nip it in half, meeping as juice runs down his chin. "Y-yeah. And I'm glad. Was kinda l-lonely," he murmurs, tongue flicking out to catch as much as he can before he wipes away the rest.

Karlos Basoalto: He meeps. How... cute. "Aerin's a regular good Samaritan," he grins, chewing on cheesy bacony goodness.

Aerin Thomas: "Well, I try." He smiles as his fry and mushroom appetizer combo comes, and starts eating.

Ethan Anderson: He nods in agreement and pops the rest of the tomato into his mouth, flashing Aerin a little grin.

Karlos Basoalto: Well, now. How gay does this look? He assesses the situation. Pretty damn gay. He looks to Aerin. "Got the time on you?"

Ethan Anderson: The salad gets pushed more around his plate, a few, small bites taken here and there.

Aerin Thomas: He pulls his phone off his beltline and checks it. "Shit, a little past 5 in the morning." He grins to the man. "Got a hot date or something? You are such the busy guy, I know."

Karlos Basoalto: He smiles faintly. "Five AM? Perfect. Yeah, you could call it a hot date..."

Ethan Anderson: He blinks slowly and flicks his eyes to Aerin, brows arching before he glances outside. "Huh...Up all night," he muses softly.

Aerin Thomas: A nod to Ethan. "Yeah, that's usually par for the course, for me. Chronic insomniac, I'm afraid." He chuckles to Karlos. "Anyone I know?"

Ethan Anderson: Date? Curious, he turns his attention back to Karlos, teeth catching at the inside of ihs cheek.

Karlos Basoalto: "Aerin..." He smiles faintly. "Who the hell else am I gonna have a date with?"

Aerin Thomas: "I know, Karlos." He smiles to the man. "I'm just going for the friendly, teasing banter vibe, you know?"

Ethan Anderson: "Y-you two have known each other a long t-time, huh?"

Karlos Basoalto: He smiles softly. "I tried polygamy once. Didn't work out."

Karlos Basoalto: "Yeah. A while," he says to Ethan. "Not terribly long, in the grand scheme of things."

Ethan Anderson: He smiles and nods, giving his salad another push around his plate.

Aerin Thomas: "Yeah, it has it's problems." A little sigh, and he looks to Ethan. "Yeah, we've known each other for...God, what, Karlos? Couple years? Since not long after I came into the city, I think."

Karlos Basoalto: He nods. "Something like that." Chew. Swallow.

Ethan Anderson: "N-nice...only p-people I've known that long are my family."

Karlos Basoalto: "You've only known your family a couple of years?" He grins slightly.

Aerin Thomas: A slight chuckle from the man at Karlos's joke...without any malice, of course. Simple, genuine amusement.

Ethan Anderson: He laughs softly and rubs his chin against his shoulder, frowning at the soft rasp of stubble barely scene. "W-well no. I've known them twenty years. B-but I really haven't known anyone else much longer th-than a year. P-people came and went fast back home."

Ethan Anderson: ((Barely seen...oi.))

Karlos Basoalto: He nods softly. "Well I'm afraid I'm gonna went pretty soon. But at least I haven't..." He stops. No. Bad Karlos, no rude jokes.

Ethan Anderson: He blinks and after a moment flushes deeply.

Aerin Thomas: He grins to Karlos, having caught the joke without him completing it. Eyes flick back to Ethan. "Again, I kind of know the feeling. Didn't mean anyone who was around much, until I got here. Then, I managed to scavenge up a few long-term friends."

Karlos Basoalto: "Well so much for my manners," he says ruefully, observing Ethan's colour.

Aerin Thomas: He looks over to Karlos. "Oh, speaking of friends. Nabiki's back in town...she was in here earlier."

Ethan Anderson: He coughs and takes a sip of his water, returning Karlos smile with a slightly sheepish grin. "I usually d-don't catch those."
