Brigid O'Sullivan: "Wha' makes ye say
t'at?" She peruses the menu's contents before looking up at his face.
Cameron Gerard: He shrugs "First off most people don't go
out to eat on their own, not in places like this anyway. Secondly" he shrugs
"Just don't look the type to be stuck on your own too much, and you're friendly
and all so you know."
Brigid O'Sullivan: "Well, if trut' bae tol',
m'usually accompanied by me t'ree sons." She doesn't really look like it,
actually, but she truly is a mother of three.
Cameron Gerard: "Fair play to you." he nods not seeming
particularaly knocked back by it, "Not by the husband, or boyfriend aswell?" he
asks unobtrusivly cocking his head to the left ever so slightly.
Brigid O'Sullivan: "Me husband's been dead
fer nearly a year now." Her expression softens just a little, even as she
crosses herself and murmurs a quick prayer. It's an automatic reaction. "An' ye?
D'ye often eat alone an' if not, who d'ye eat wi'?"
Cameron Gerard: "I'm sorry." he says when she mentions him
being dead, he looks slightly uncomfortable. "I tend to yeah, mainly due to
strange hours and just general lack of time." chewing his lip.
Brigid O'Sullivan: "T'at's unfortunate.
Ye're a noice man.." She gives him a genuine smile. "So..wha' is i' t'at ye do?"
Cameron Gerard: "I don't think nice guy fits the
occupation." he says a slight carck of a smile returning to his face. "Am a
bouncer."
Brigid O'Sullivan: "Ah, one o' t'ose men
who t'row people outta clubs?" She tilts her head to the side as she studies
him.
Cameron Gerard: "Only if I have to, try the easier ways
first, but it becomes neccissary all to often yeah."
Brigid O'Sullivan: She nods
understandingly. "I've been t'a club once. Doonae ge' toime t'go out much."
Cameron Gerard: "I wouldn't imagine so, no. then again I
wouldn't say you're missing out on much by not going to them." he smiles and
runs a hand through his hair. "All smoke, noise and alcohol."
Brigid O'Sullivan: "Aye..I remember t'at
from t'e toime I went ta t'e club." She laughs lightly and looks up at the
waiter as he arrives. "Jus' water fer me fer now, Oi'm still lookin'." The
waiter looks expectantly at Cameron.
Cameron Gerard: Looking to the waiter "Coffee, black,
thanks." he says short and to the point before looking back to Brigid. "How
old're your boys?"
Brigid O'Sullivan: "Seamus is five an' a
half, Connor is t'ree, an' Riordan's 'bout nine months.." She smiles so widely
when she speaks of her children.
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): ((Open scene?))
Cameron Gerard: He nods, a slight smile, you could rely on
people being proud of their childeren. "What're they like?" ((Yes open, midrange
ish resteraunt, current time.))
Brigid O'Sullivan: "Seamus an' Connor are
broight boys. T'ey're t'e best o'friends an' t'ey are really beginnin' t'adjust
t'life outside o'Ireland." She nods a smiles brightly.
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): Sighing, Andrea pushes
into the restaurant, her daughter on her hip, her head bent towards the sable
curls as she murmurs softly to the little girl, free hand gently brushing snow
from a torn tight and bloody knee. "Mommy'll kiss it better when we find a
table, baby," she murmurs, kissing the little one's temple.
Cameron Gerard: "Good to hear. How long have you been over
here?"
Brigid O'Sullivan: "A few months now.
'Bout t'ree months." She nods a little as she does the math in her head.
Cameron Gerard: "How're you finding it?"
Brigid O'Sullivan: "'Tis a huge city
an' m'still tryin' t'get my bearin's, yanno? I doonae know wha' m's'posed t'be
doin'." She shrugs. "M'sure I'll find me place soon."
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): She
speaks briefly with the hostess and then follows her to a table in view of the
door feeling vaguely hopeful. She sets Nadia down beside the table and strips
her of her coat, fingers smoothing the little green dress before she settles the
child in a booster seat and kisses her lightly scraped knee. "All better." Then,
smiling, she stands and strips from her duster jacket, revealing a smart grey
pantsuit with nicely creased legs and a suit jacket over a nice, scoop neck
white silk shirt. A gold cruicifix is clearly visible about her slim throat - as
is the scrolling tattoo that reads "Nadia" in blue ink.
Francesco Giardini: He makes his way up to
the restaraunt, in his Sunday best...black suit, white shirt, a slate tie, with
his trench coat over it all. A brief look around before he pushes the door open,
stepping inside.
Lean and hungry. Poised and dangerous. That’s the words that come to mind when
looking upon him. He cuts a striking figure, standing just under six feet and
weighing around 160 to 170 pounds. He has a full face, just a hint of tan to
otherwise fair skin, frame by shortly cropped, brown hair, a professional cut.
Brown eyes carry a look of cocky intelligence to them…this isn’t some mook off
the street, this man was born into greatness, and he knows it. He’s dressed in a
Italian wool suit, charcoal grey, with vest and a silk tie. Black cap shoes
complete the ensemble. He’s got an attitude to him…a look that’s not quite
arrogance, not quite simple confidence, but somewhere in between. The world is
his…it just needs to realize it.
Cameron Gerard: "It takes a while yeah." he nods "But
give it another month or so and you'll be able to find your way round like you
lived here all your life."
Brigid O'Sullivan: "Oi still carry a map
'round wi'me t'keep meself from gettin' too lost.."
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): She
glances hopefully towards the door as she sits, face lighting up as she spots
Frankie. Biting the inside of her cheek she lifts one hand in a wave, the other
touching the neat french twist her red touched, chestnut hair is twisted into.
Francesco Giardini: He heads up to the
hostess, stopping there briefly to talk to her in low tones...and as he looks
around, his eyes fall on Andrea and Nadia. He smiles warmly their way, raising a
hand to them in greeting.
Catie: *slips quietly into the restaurant.
her clothing is of good quality--simple jeans, and a jacket and sweaterset, both
in dusky blue, although it's a tad dusty as if she's been working. long, dark
curls are neatly pinned up under a tied scarf in muted blues and pinks*
Aine: Aine had been around town doing errands
and feeling the need for something to eat, she decided to stop in and get a
quick bite to eat. She's wearing a black turtleneck underneath the cammo outfit
she always wears to help her stay warm, the black jump boots, and a black navy
P-coat (with the double buttons down the front, turned high up on her collar
almost covering her ears.) and fingerless gloves. Her silky raven hair is worn
down for once, parted to the side. The grey eyes, if looked at closely enough,
try hiding some sort of inner conflict and sadness.
Cameron Gerard: He gives a slight chuckle "Don't worry,
after a while you'll know the landmarks to get places you need to go, but you'll
likley never know the whole place, and to be hounest that's for the best coz
there are some bits you really don't wanna know."
Aine: ((Oops...guess I'll change the
color))
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): "MR.
G'RDINI!" Nadia squeels brightly and waves, bouncing in her booster seat as she
leans around her mom.
Catie: ((*L* sorry....))
Francesco Giardini: He looks behind him,
briefly, nodding to Aine as she enters, and then walks right by the hostess
after another word to her, heading toward Andrea's table.
Catie: *tilts her head at Brigid--has she
seen the woman before? and smiles gently at the squealing child as she quietly
finds herself a seat* ((oh, yeah--i keep forgetting. PB 3, feral app))
Aine: Aine nods to him and sees where he
heads, quickly squeezing her eyes half closed following the outburst.
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): "Nadi!"
Andrea laughs, blushing and glancing apologetically at the other patrons as she
stands.
Francesco Giardini: "Andrea...good to see
you again," he says with a smile, as he approaches. Nadia gets a grin. "And
hello to you, too, Nadia. How are you?"
Cameron Gerard: He turns to look at the childs
outburst, a slight grin. damn he couldn't even be annoyed if he wanted to. he
turns back to Brigid.
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): She
holds out a hand to Francesco, squeezing his fingers in much the same manner as
she does at Mass. "Hello, Frankie." Nadia smiles brightly. "HI! I'm kay." A
pause. "How you?"
Catie: *chuckles softly, observing the child
a bit longer, and then orders herself a pleasant little repast. potato chowder
and half a ham sandwich, with hot chocolate*
Aine: Clenching her fists opened and closed a
few times, she takes a few deep breaths and calms herself, and asks the waitress
to sit her over in a corner, and orders a Cherry Coke to start off.
Brigid O'Sullivan: She hears the child's
voice and looks over at her, a soft smile on her lips. "Children, hm?" She's
amused as she turns back to Cameron. [PB 3 here too..]
Francesco Giardini: He takes the offered
hand with a nod, and then glances to Nadia, chuckling. "I'm good. Very good,
actually." He grins at the little girl, and looks up to Andrea. "You mind if I
join you?"
Aine: When the waitress comes back again
with her drink, she orders a tuna salad sandwich on wheat and settles into the
seat, sliding just a little deeper into the P-coat.
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): "I'm
good. First time in two years that I can give Nadia a decent Christmas. So I'm
very good." She smiles softly and begins pulling ponies from her purse for Nadia
to play with.
Catie: *thanks the server for her glass of
water and hot chocolate. waiting for lunch, she gets out a small notepad and
pen, and begins to take notes, or write a list, or something. whatever it is
seems to require a great deal of contemplation in between jotting*
Brigid O'Sullivan: She looks up at the
waiter with a little smile. "M'gonna have t'e soup t'start wi'. French Onion
soup.." She nods. "T'ank ye.."
Francesco Giardini: "Excellent." He nods
to that, with a smile, and leans back in his chair, picking up the water and
sipping at it. "And you had a good Thanksgiving?"
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old):
"Didn't really do much, unfortunately. The Club was open so I was working." She
shrugs, blushing slightly. "Yourself?"
Cameron Gerard: He shakes his head at the waiter when he's
looked to and as such the waiter after scribbling down her order goes back to
the kitchens. Cameron scoops up his coffee and takes a sip from it, setting the
cup back down again.
Francesco Giardini: He shrugs a little.
"Quiet. Spent the evening at home, which was, admittedly, a little odd...I'm
used to the big family Thanksgivings."
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old):

"Quiet. Spent the evening at home, which was, admittedly, a little odd...I'm

Catie: *absently, as she works, hums very,
very softly to herself. it's a very pretty voice she has, were anyone close
enough to hear it. dark eyes remaining intent on her paper as she scratches
something out and adds another note*
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): "Me
too, truthfully." She grins slightly as Nadia gallops a pony towards Frankie's
hands. "So...I get this feeling that i said something wrong last Sunday."
Brigid O'Sullivan: She takes a sip of
water and then sets the glass down again. "How long've ye been in New York?"
Aine: Her order arrives, she glances around
at the restaurant again before deciding to try a bite of her food, tearing off a
small piece and slowly eating it, looking as if she was forcing herself to eat
it.
Cameron Gerard: "Far too long." he says with a chuckle
Aine: She takes a sip of the Coke after she
manages the food down, and pushes the plate to the side.
Catie: mmm? *looks up with a smile and sets
aside her notebook when her meal arrives. alternating small spoonfuls of the
tasty soup with dainty bites of her sandwich*
Aine: Shoving a hand deep into a pocket, she
pulls out some bills, making sure it was more than plenty to pay for the
sandwich and drink with a tip. Aine stands up and moves back out of the
restaurant.
Brigid O'Sullivan: "How long is that?" She
takes another sip of water and then smiles as her soup arrives.
Francesco Giardini: He shakes his head,
leaning slightly inward as he does so. "You didn't say anything wrong, Andrea.
It's my fault...I honestly did have somewhere to be. And in my sudden
realization, I think it came across...incorrectly. A little recognition mixing
with my need to go giving the wrong impression, perhaps."
Cameron Gerard: "Most of my life, born here, been out
of state on holidays and what not, but always lived here."
Catie: *the meal is quite tasty. she
continues to eat, neatly, while observing the other patrons quietly*
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): She
nods, leaning in slightly. "I was worried and then angry and then I just felt
bad cause I thought i'd f...messed up." She shrugs slightly. "Silly, I know,
given that we'd just met."
Brigid O'Sullivan: She eats her soup
slowly and carefully since it's, well, warm. "D'ye like t'e city? Ye must if
ye've always lived here."
Francesco Giardini: "You did nothing
wrong." He smiles to her, warmth in his expression. "The mistake was mine, in
giving the wrong impression."
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old):
"Good." She grins slightly and bends down to retrive one of Nadia's MLP's,
handing it back to her.
Catie: *finishes her soup, using a bit of
sandwich bread to mop up the last lasty drops in the bottom of the bowl, before
eating the last bite of ham sandwich. sighs happily and settles back for a
moment to enjoy the feeling of a belly filled with good, warm food*
Cameron Gerard: He half shrugs "It's home I guess, not
sure if I like it or not, perhaps I'm just more scared of the wider the world,
better the devil you know and all that." he says sipping at the coffee. a slight
smirk.
Brigid O'Sullivan: She nods and laughs
softly at that comment and nods understandingly. "I cin understand t'at.."
Francesco Giardini: "So how has work
been?" He leans back again in his seat, sipping at his water.
Cameron Gerard: "Whichever it is I've got things round
here that still need sorting, and it's best not to run away from your problems,
doing so has a bad habit of bitting you in the ass." he grins.
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): "Its
work." She chuckles. "I wear skimy t-shirts and jeans and costumes that show off
my muscles and I take ID's and let folks into the club," she says with a mildly
flirtatious wink.
Catie: *rises quietly, shrugging into her
jacket and tucking the notepad and pencil into its pocket. sets down the precise
amount needed to cover her bill, with a tip, and heads for the door, humming
under her breath cheerfully*
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): (skimy=skimpy)
Brigid O'Sullivan: "Oh, aye..I agree wi'
t'at." She brushes a few errant strands of hair away from her face and gives him
a smile. "'Tis better t'face yer problems an' fears t'an t'try an' run from 'em.
T'ey've got longer legs.."
Cameron Gerard: He chuckles "True, such is always the way
of life, after all if you could run that fast what would you have to fear?"
Francesco Giardini: He chuckles a little
to that, noting the wink. "Sounds like there could be worse jobs. Maybe I'll
have to come by some time."
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): She
leans over and covers Nadia's ears. "Do you like strip clubs? I"m talking
classy. ITs gorgeous."
Catie: *slips out, still humming to herself*
Brigid O'Sullivan: She laughs. "Exactly."
Nodding, she finishes off her soup and nudges the bowl aside.
Cameron Gerard: He sips at his coffee. "You have family
or anything about? to help with the kids and all?"
Francesco Giardini: He responds to that
with a simple smile. "Well, I ain't going to say that I don't...I try to keep my
lying down to a bare minimum, especially on Sunday." He chuckles. "But yeah,
I've been known to visit a gentlemen's club on occasion. Especially if it's one
of the classier establishments."
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old):
"You'll love Wyld Nights," she says, uncovering her daughter's ears. "I'll even
let ya slip in," she teases.
Brigid O'Sullivan: "Aye, Oi've some kin
'round t'ese parts. S'why Oi moved here wi'me lads. I t'ought t'e change of
scenery woul' be guid fer 'em."
Francesco Giardini: "Ahh, see. Pays to
know the right people." He winks to her.
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): She
laughs, blushing softly. "So...I'm really glad you came to lunch, Frankie. And
thank you for sitting near us during Mass."
Cameron Gerard: "Good that you atleast have support then."
he nods draining the last of the coffee from his cup.
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): Nadia
seems quite content to play quietly with her ponies, only half listening to her
mommy and Mr. G'rdini talk.
Francesco Giardini: "No problem at
all...in fact, I was happy to do so." He smiles a little. "And I'm really glad,
too."
Brigid O'Sullivan: "Oi couldnae do i'
wit'out 'em." She nods and then looks at her watch. "Sorry t'cut t'is short,
boot Oi've gotta ge' me boys. Riordan'll need t'be fed." She pulls her wallet
out and gives him a smile. "We shoul' dae t'is again.."
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): She
grins, the blush kicking up a notch. "Good. Then from now on we have a date on
Sunday, yes?"
Cameron Gerard: "Sure thing" he grins "Sounds like a
plan." he gets to his feet aswell and pulls a few notes from his pocket to pay
for his share. and also a scrap of paper with a cell phone number on offering it
to her. "Let me know when."
Francesco Giardini: "Absolutely." He nods
with a grin. "You can count on that."
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): "Good.
So. Do you have your Christmas shopping done?"
Brigid O'Sullivan: She takes the scrap and
hands him a card with her address and number on it. "T'ank ye..ye're guid
company.." She sets her money on the table and gathers her things to go. "Talk
t'ye later.."
Cameron Gerard: "Catch you later" he replies with a nod
and a grin. pulling his trench coat of the back of his chair and putting it on
in a single fluid movement he starts heading for the door.
Francesco Giardini: "Most of it." He nods
a little bit. "I gotta do most of it online, since my family's pretty much all
in D.C. Got a few things to pick up for people I've met, still, but the
advantage of not having anyone you know in a new city is that you ain't gotta do
much holiday shopping, I guess."
Andrea Angotti and Nadia(4yrs old): She
chuckles. "I'm still shopping. LIke I said, its the first real Christmas we'll
have in a couple years so..." She shrugs. "Its going to be different."
Francesco Giardini: "Yeah...it'll be
pretty different for me, too." He nods a bit, glancing to Nadia with a smile,
then back to her.
Andrea Angotti and Nadia: Nadia seems to
have dozed off sitting up. Andrea glances sidelong and smiles softly, almost
glowing as she strokes her daughter's curls back. "I may be...being forward
but...we should talk. About Craven and me..."
Francesco Giardini: He cocks his head
to the side a little, curiously, but nods. "All right. We can do that, if you
want. Maybe...in a less public locale?"
Andrea Angotti and Nadia: "Yeah. Probably
a good idea." She laughs. "We didn't order anything," She says, glancing
guiltily towards the waitress.
Francesco Giardini: "Ahh, s'all right.
I'll tip her big." He smiles and rises from the seat, calling the waitress over.
He apologizes to her for the lack of ordering, but compensates with a $50 dollar
tip, and hopes that she had a happy Thanksgiving.
Andrea Angotti and Nadia: Andrea blinks as
he throws that much money around. He's as bad as Craven. She stands and
carefully bundles Nadia into her coat and then pulls on her own black duster
before carefully picking the little girl up. Nadia never even stirs.
Francesco Giardini: He doesn't seem to
think too much of tossing out the tip. The trench coat is picked u[ and slid on,
and he waits to guide them out the door.
Andrea Angotti and Nadia: "I'll follow
you," she says softly, offering him a smile before nodding towards her purple VW
bug.
Francesco Giardini: "All right." He heads
out with her, moving to his Jetta and slipping in. He waits for her to be ready
and then drives off, heading toward his Bronxville home.
Andrea Angotti and Nadia: She follows.
