Chimal Miquiztli: ~Once he has gone through security and has been ushered into the office, he seats himself in one of the wing chairs.~ "Thank you for seeing me at this late hour."

Jody Yu: Small and innocuous...those would be the first words many would use to describe Jody. Standing at 5’4”, and weighing nary more then 110 pounds, her racially mixed blood is obvious, with a strong hint of Asian features and coloring in her otherwise Caucasion face. Her ebony hair is cut short, making her look much younger then her 32 years of age. She’s dressed in a simple and modest, yet elegant, black evening dress. Her eyes, a bright green with tiny gold flecks in them, carry a note of wisdom beyond her years, worldly knowledge, and politeness in the extreme. Despite that, she gives a small smile in greeting to all those that she comes across, barely noticed by those around her, but very aware of them. ((Arcane 2; Suppressed))

Jody Yu: She's standing in front of the desk when he steps in, and gives the man a polite, warm smile, and her little nod that turns into a partial bow. "Hello, Mr. Miquiztli. Thank you for coming. Please, have a seat."

Chimal Miquiztli: ~For this meeting, he has dressed in black slacks and a cream silk dress shirt tucked in neatly, a matching black sport jacket over it. Elegantly and respectfully attired.~

Chimal Miquiztli: He returns the bow before he sits down, his dark eyes taking in much without darting about. His primary focus is on Jody.

Chimal Miquiztli: He feels a tad nervous, like he's in a job interview, but outwardly he does a fairly good job of not showing it, remaining relaxed on the surface.

Jody Yu: She moves around to her side of the desk, taking a seat and lacing her fingers together. They rest on the surface of the desk, and she smiles courteously. "So, Chimal...tell me a bit about yourself."

Chimal Miquiztli: "I'm Chimal Miquiztli, descended from the Aztecs. I came to New York from Tijuana several months ago. I'm Garou, but have no pack affiliation. I'm not a loner by nature, and have no wish to avoid working with any group, but I'm looking to do accomplish something of far reaching value. I was told of the Treaty by Micah, initially."

Jody Yu: A slight nod. "So you are a supporter of the treaty then, obviously. Have you been told the exact details of it, to make sure?"

Chimal Miquiztli: He nods. "As I understand it, the Treaty is a pact of basically non-aggression. One supernatural is not to attack another of a different faction within the State of New York, and the area south of Liberty Street is a place of neutrality where supernatural abilities are not to be used against another. The Treaty not only protects the supernatural residents of the city, it also protects the mundane populace and helps maintain the secrecy of the supernatural world from their notice."

Jody Yu: She nods. "That is an excellent understanding of it. There are some specifics...allow me to detail them for you." She proceeds to detail the specifics of the treaty ((as listed in the Neutral Forum)) for him.

Chimal Miquiztli: "And sí, I am a supporter. It alleviates squabbles and allows us all to focus on the bigger picture. There are so many in this city alone, we would accomplish nothing if we had to contend with confrontations constantly."

Chimal Miquiztli: ((Put above her post, he didn't interrupt.))

Chimal Miquiztli: He listens intently.

Jody Yu: When she's done laying it out, she takes a moment, then smiles politely to him. "Are there any questions you may have in regard to the Treaty itself?"

Chimal Miquiztli: "Are there factions that refuse to adhere to the Treaty, and if so, how is that handled? I am aware that breaches normally are handled within the various factions on a case by case basis, or so Micah told me once."

Jody Yu: She nods. "Factions are not forced to join the treaty. However, if they do not, they receive no protection from the Treaty, either. So if, for example, the Sept of the Green were to not be a member of the Treaty, then no one affiliated with the Sept would receive protection, unless they joined as individuals. And all, including treaty members, would be free to attack them, without fear of reprisal from the Concerto Club."

Chimal Miquiztli: He nods thoughtfully. "One thing I am most wondering...if there is someone who is not aware of the Treaty, and he or she inadvertently breaches the Treaty, is that person still punished as severely as one who was aware of the Treaty? For example, say a shifter unaware of the Treaty permitted a vampire to feed upon her, would both be subject to punishment? Micah had told me their people would put them both to death in that sort of scenario."

Jody Yu: "If one was unaware of the treaty, then the Neutral Party reserves the right to approach the individual and offer them membership within the treaty. Technically, allowing a vampire to feed off oneself is not a violation in and of itself, though if said vampire used mind control to get someone to do so, that is a violation."

Chimal Miquiztli: He nods. "A much better explanation, gracias." He grins. "Only one more question, Is there something I can do for the Treaty, and how do I become involved in working for the Concerto in this capacity? I'm fluent in Spanish, and as far as other skills...I stay calm in a crisis, I'm not easily ruffled, I'm experienced on the spiritual front, and I am comfortable with people from all walks of life, supernatural or mundane. I also have a need to protect ordinary humans and kinfolk of any tribe or shifter, from harm."

Jody Yu: She nods a little bit, listening as he lists his skills. "Excellent. Well, to be honest, Chimal, most of our Garou employees work Security here for the Concerto, and in the case of treaty breaches. We are also always looking for Host positions...more mundane, but in many ways, no less valuable. From the sounds of it, you are well-suited for both." She watches him a moment, polite and genial as always. "My question would be, do you feel as if you can maintain objectivity? For example, if a vampire were wrongly assaulted by a kinfollk, would you be able to perform your duties duties in stopping the kinfolk from attacking, rather then stopping the vampire from using all appropriate force to defend itself?"

Chimal Miquiztli: He nods, sincerely. "Sí, I understand that to work for the Treaty, one cannot allow personal feelings or loyalty to any particular faction to interfere with duty. I believe that I can maintain objectivity. I doubt I would be well suited for security." Faint smile. "I'm not particularly physical, though admittedly I can keep a cool head when others of my kind may not be able to. I'm not, shall we say, driven by my rage."

Jody Yu: She nods, thinking about it a little, then takes an application from a drawer and slides it over to him. "I propose this. Fill out this application, so that we can do all typical official paperwork, background checks, and the like. I will come up with an offer for you after that."

Chimal Miquiztli: He nods and takes the paper. If it only takes a few minutes, he fills it out right there. Otherwise, he'll take it with him to return later.

Jody Yu: The application is not huge...a surprisingly standard application, along with authorization forms to do a full background check. She waits, patiently, while he fills it out.

Chimal Miquiztli: But before he does fill it out, he tells her, "I am legally in the United States in name. However, I should inform you that my birthdate was falsified in order to provide me with a green card. It is virtually untraceable."

Chimal Miquiztli: ((Forgot about that little hiccup. *S*))

Jody Yu: A small nod. "Noted and understood."

Chimal Miquiztli: He fills it out quickly and completely and hands it to her. "Gracias for your time."

Jody Yu: She takes the application and sets it neatly on the desk, facing her, and rises smoothly. "Of course, Chimal. I will be in contact with you within a few days." She extends her hand to him.

Chimal Miquiztli: He takes her hand as he stands and shakes it with a casual firmness. Once the goodbyes are said, he exits. ((Thanks for the time! This is something I really wanted to do with Chimal.))

Jody Yu: She gives him a more formal Japaenese-style bow as he shakes the hand, and lets him out. ((Any time. *G*))

Chimal Miquiztli: He goes to his car and drives home in good spirits. ~poofles~
