Samantha Jacobs: Sam wasn't asleep when Michelle came to bed last night, btw. She was in bed, just... not asleep.

Michelle Morgan:
Michelle would have come in (she left and took the others home) and asked if she was okay, as she left pretty abruptly.

Samantha Jacobs:
She'd say yah, of course *G*

Michelle Morgan:
And then she'd ask her what she was feeling. *G*

Samantha Jacobs:
How long had passed since she left, and when Michelle got back?

Michelle Morgan:
About 20 minutes, maybe

Samantha Jacobs:
"Hate."

Michelle Morgan:
"Why?"

Samantha Jacobs:
"I hate Dominic White. Even if he is dead."

Michelle Morgan:
"All right." She slips into bed sans clothes, as per usual. "I don't know that much about Dominic White...only very small asides here and there. What happened?"

Samantha Jacobs:
Her fingers run over Hope gently, the tiny kitten purring in her hands. "Do you remember when I awakened? How I didn't want -anyone- touching me?"

Michelle Morgan:
"Yeah." She nods, reaching out and smoothing the other's hair.

Samantha Jacobs:
Her eyes half close, and then snap open at something. "That's because, when people were touching me, I was seeing things. Past things. And Dominic White..... did some horrible things."

Michelle Morgan:
"I see." She remains calm, supportive, her eyes holding a bit of sympathy for the other's traumatic Awakening. "And they have made you hate him. Remember, Samantha. Hate is not a bad thing. It's no better or worse then Fear, or Empathy, or Lust, even Love. Hate is a simmering, bubbling fire, spurring you to eradicate evil and injustice, and hatred can even lead to healing. The trick is to remain unconsumed."

Samantha Jacobs:
"And not have it become too focused on yourself. Like Anger." A vague nod.

Michelle Morgan:
"Well, Hate is a division of Anger. So yes. Anger is divided into Hate and Rage."

Samantha Jacobs:
She nods, understanding this. Letting herself lean back and relax.

Samantha Jacobs:
((Gack. Computer death))

Michelle Morgan:
She smiles a little at Sam. "Hating someone like Dominic White is good, Samantha. It reminds you what's wrong with this world. But let it go in due course."

Samantha Jacobs:
Another nod to Michelle, twisting her head to look at her. "Don't hang onto it."

Michelle Morgan:
"Exactly." She smiles.

Samantha Jacobs:
She smiles a little back, obviously happy she's learned -something-.

Michelle Morgan:
"You're getting there." She chuckles a bit, and watches her for a long moment, something dancing behind her eyes.

Samantha Jacobs:
"Slowly." She says dryly, but the smile stays. She lifts her hands to allow Hope to trundle across the bed.

Michelle Morgan:
"But surely." She smiles a bit. "Have you ever tried meditating?'

Samantha Jacobs:
"Not... really."

Michelle Morgan:
"Would you like to try?"

Samantha Jacobs:
She blinks slowly, as if this takes awhile to process. "Sure..."

Michelle Morgan:
She smiles, and sits back up in the bed. "All right. First, get completely comfortable, in a physical sense."

Samantha Jacobs:
She seems to think about this, and then shifts so her back is supported by the wall (or bedframe), and one lanky leg tucks under another. She glances back at Michelle

Michelle Morgan:
"Completely comfortable and relaxed, in a physical sense?"

Samantha Jacobs:
"Mmhmm." She murmurs quietly. A pause, and she carefully removes the crawling kitten, and places her in her bed. "There."

Michelle Morgan:
"Now, close your eyes. I'll be right back" She moves up off the bed, heading out of the bedroom for a moment.

Samantha Jacobs:
She blinks, and then closes her eyes. Trusting.

Michelle Morgan:
She comes back, and Sam smells sandlewood, in oil form. The whirr of the CD player, and "Pure Moods" starts to play.

Samantha Jacobs:
A soft exhale, allowing herslef to get used to the smell, and eyes remain closed

Michelle Morgan:
"All right. Now, the first thing I need you to do is clear your mind of all the extraneous thoughts. The chatter that we all have. Sweep it away."

Samantha Jacobs:
Easier said than done, with Sam. But she tries.

Michelle Morgan:
"Just focus on the smell. The music. My voice." She doesn't get back on the bed...her voice is ahead of Sam somewhere. "Let them relax your mind, Samantha. And use them as a way to clear it all out."

Samantha Jacobs:
She slouches a little more, breathing in and focusing on Michelle's voice, and only her voice. Letting just that fill her. Its strange, and uneasy... but not impossible

Michelle Morgan:
"All right. Now, focus on the light behind your eyelids, Samantha. That red light that's seeping through. Imagine it as a white light, flaring bright, clean and pure.."

Samantha Jacobs:
Flaring? Bright... like an explosion. Like fireworks. It twists behind her eyes, shifting into the white light at Michelle's gentle urging.

Michelle Morgan:
"Now, imagine that flame is coming from you. From within your own mind, your own consciousness. The light is part of you...it represents all the positive in the universe. Let it spread throughout your body. Breath in and out. Each inward breath sends the light further into your body...each outward breath sends negativity out."

Samantha Jacobs:
There is a loss of focus, briefly. Meditation not easy for her, nor the breathing itself. But she finds a rythem that is easy on her lung, and settles into it.

Michelle Morgan:
"Now. That light, that's filling you. I want you to focus it. Form it inside you, from a shapeless mass to a spear, moving down your spine. Send it down through the floor, through the apartments below, all the way into the bedrock and m, and molten lava until it reaches the pure yellow fire within the center of the earth. Imagine the end of the spear plugging into the earth's core like an electrical cord into an outlet."

Samantha Jacobs:
This is easier. Easier to twist it, shape it in to the spear, and focus to push it deep, past everything, beyond everything, into the core.

Michelle Morgan:
Her voice continues, calm and guiding. "Once you've made that connection, Samantha, the grounding yellow energy from the earth is going to quickly travel up the spear, through the floor and into your body along the spinal cord. The energy will continue up the spine and out the top of your head reaching far out into the universe."

Samantha Jacobs: For a moment, her brain tries to stop on that mental imagery. But she doesn't stop too long, and focusese back on Michelle's voice. Her head ducks slightly, for a moment, before all of her straightens out to allow the energy a straight path.

Michelle Morgan:
"Now. As you continue this, feel the green light from the earth, helping to ground you mentally, emotionally and physically. It's going to calm you. Green is a restful color. It's learning, growth, and harmony. The color of balance and self-respect. Feel it work it's way through you."

Samantha Jacobs:
((SamWP to stay focused... 10, 6, 4, 1, 5)) Green is.... grass, trees, uniforms... military, no green in the desert, combat- her eyes snap open, and she gives a painful sounding inhale, as that all disappears from her so quickly. She winces.

Michelle Morgan:
She's standing directly across from her, and she smiles a little as Sam's eyes open. She doesn't look disappointed at all. "What happened? Where did you go?"

Samantha Jacobs:
"Green. Green uniforms. Military, combat..." She sighs, rather unhappily.

Michelle Morgan:
She nods. "All right." She moves to the bed, crawling over it and sitting across from Sam, legs crossed in the lotus position. "Let me help. Close your eyes. Bring the light back, and the spear, from the croe to the heavens."

Samantha Jacobs:
She huffs, though its not AT Michelle. Its just trying to clear herself. Eyes close and carefully goes through each motion, each step. It takes her awhile. Longer, as she has to push back the doubt. But she gets back to where she was.

Michelle Morgan:
She hears silence from Michelle, and then a quiet, gentle humming along with the song. ((Arete roll, Mind 3, Mental Link. Spending 2 Quint and 1 WP; three rolls, one per turn))

Michelle Morgan:
Michelle: 7,4,7,
Michelle: 7,5,8,
Michelle: 9,3,3, ((So 7 successes w/WP))

Samantha Jacobs:
((Michelle wins at Life))

Michelle Morgan:
((So they are completely mentally linked for one day. This is moreso then before...each other's thoughts is an open book to each other, essentially. Sam can try to resist with a WP "Dodge," just so you know.))

Samantha Jacobs:
((She wouldn't. There is utter faith and trust in Michelle))

Michelle Morgan:
Their thoughts are flowing back and forth. Sam gets the idea that Michelle could have made it one way, but she chose two-way instead, for while it's more difficult to pull off, she wants Sam to understand what she's doing, and experience what she's doing. She's at the same point that Sam is, letting that green energy flow into her, balancing her. She sends that balancing emotion Sam's way.

Samantha Jacobs:
It's easy to tell that there is a struggle for Sam to do as Michelle does, something that daunts her. But at the same time, there's obvious ease and comfort with Michelle helping her. A gentle grasp of the balancing emotion, using it to help strengthen the little she has.

Michelle Morgan:
She doesn't shove it onto Sam, letting the woman take as needed. At her pace, as always. Her eyes are closed, hands folded in her lap, giving the woman time to become totally centered.

Samantha Jacobs:
Each is woven into the other, building on what she has, and making it stronger. Finding her own calming thoughts with green, drifting far away from the bad until she's... calm. Centered.

Michelle Morgan: She smiles, a bit of pride swelling in her, and she doesn't speak...she thinks to the other. ~TP~ "Now imagine the white energized light of the universe attaching itself to your spear, as if it were a lightening rod. The positive electrical energy quickly travels downward toward the earth, through the roof top, through your head, down through your body alongside the spinal cord, reaching down through the house toward the center of the earth. Feel the power of the universe energizing your spiritual and physical bodies."

Samantha Jacobs:
Softly breathing, focusing on Michelle's words. The spear is slowly, but surely, wrapped in the universal energy. Bound together to make it stronger, in a way, allowing the energy to make its way back down towards the core of the earth.

Michelle Morgan:
~TP~ "Excellent, Samantha. Now the power from the earth, the power from the universe and your own power of protection have mixed together, and flow freely up and down your body. Each external energy is supplementing your own. The universe and the earth are assisting to balance your energies to enhance the reading. The earth and sky will also provide you with the all the of energy you need to replenish from this."

Samantha Jacobs:
A nod - did she really move, or was it in her head?- it didn't matter. She felt calm, and centered, and it was a wonderfully beautiful feeling.

Michelle Morgan:
Her smile is on her face and in her head, warmth spreading through her body. ~TP~ "Now, we're going to do something together...you're going to help me cleanse the house." Outwardly, she's still humming softly, and it resonates between them.

Samantha Jacobs:
Another mental nod. She's not sure if she can speak. There is no questioning, only trusting of Michelle. And there's even a vague spark of eagernes to help.

Michelle Morgan:
~TP~ "I want you to imagine all this revitalizing energy pushing out through the confines of your body. As it grows and moves farther and farther out into the room, all negative and disruptive energy is being pushed out of the apartment, into the universe where it will be dispersed. We're going to continue until the entire house is energized with the pure positive energy." ((Roll me just a WP roll, for ease of purpose. Success will give her 1 extra success to cleanse the house of negative emotions))

Samantha Jacobs:
((3,3,3,7,8))

Michelle Morgan:
((Effect is Mind 2, Prime 2, Correspondance 1, so send the calming, positive emotions between them throughout the house and eliminate any negative Resonance that may be inside. 1 WP on each roll; 3 rolls))

Samantha Jacobs:
Another telepathic nod. Gently amd carefully, to make sure its okay with Michelle, twining her energy with Michelle's to strengthen it before pushing it throught the house. ((Kay))

Michelle Morgan:
9,10,4,

Michelle Morgan:
10,4,6,

Michelle Morgan:
2,7,4, ((So 5 succ on roll, +1 from Sam, +3 for WP. 9 total))

Michelle Morgan:
Sam feels a hint of the magic spark in her, not scray like before, but very calming and giving, it flows into Michelle, and she uses it with love to fuel her own workings. Together, they send that balance out, like a wave of green light, pushing all the negativity out of the house completely, past the apartment, and into the world, where it disperses to nothing.

Samantha Jacobs:
There is obvious joy and acomplishment from Sam, who finds this to be a rather large feat for her. There is too, the stirrings of excitement at feeling the magic in a good way, and its willingly given to Michelle to mold and use.

Michelle Morgan:
Once the effect is gone, she opens her eyes, finally, the humming drawing to a close. Their thoughts still flow together, even as she ends her meditation exercise. "Welcome to magic, Samantha."

Samantha Jacobs:
For a moment, she doesn't open her eyes. A brief worry it will fade when her eyes open. But it doesn't. And she's treated to the wonderful sight of a relaxed and naked Michelle. She smiles, a true easy smile. "Beautiful."

Michelle Morgan:
"I could say the same." She smiles, and looks at her, asking the question, even though it need not be asked right now. "Tell me what you're feeling."

Samantha Jacobs:
"Light." She pauses, seeming to think on this as she slowlyl pushes off the bedframe. " Mm. Happy. Calm. Accomplished."

Michelle Morgan:
She smiles. ~TP~ "I'm glad. This is how magic should be. It's something to embrace, to accept as a part of you. To be loved. Hated sometimes, sure, and feared, and all the rest. But always accepted. I'm glad I could share it with you."

Samantha Jacobs:
She nods, a hand raising to stroke Michelle's cheek. Something broken inside her, a good thing broken. Her chest isn't so tight. "Thank you."

Michelle Morgan:
~TP~ "Of course, Samathna." She leans into the hand a little, and smiles. ~TP~ "I love you."

Samantha Jacobs:
"I love you too." So much emotion behind it. Kinda funny, in a way, to see Sam being so... girlly. But a good thing. Allowing herself to scootch closer to Michelle

Michelle Morgan:
She smiles, and disentangles her legs, sliding over to Sam and hugging her.

Samantha Jacobs:
She wraps arms around Michelle, holding ther other woman protectivly. She was lucky. Very very lucky.

Michelle Morgan:
She holds Sam close to her, perfectly at ease in the woman's arms and in her mind. All is well in her world right now.

Samantha Jacobs:
A hand idly stroks Michelle's arms, contenment positivly radiating from her. "I never thought... I'd be so comfortable again."

Michelle Morgan:
"I knew you could. It just took you getting there, sweetie."

Samantha Jacobs:
"Thank you." She mumbles softly.

Michelle Morgan:
"Thank you. For the help." She smiles. "And you're welcome."
