Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Bateery Pary Night): [His jet black
hair is un-kept, its fairly short but not obscenely so, his fringe hanging down to cover
his brow. He is about average height but of a lean build that makes him look taller. He’s
wearing a black leather jacket that’s worn with age, and a pair of combat trousers
that have seen better days, they’re not torn but the originally black trousers are
now a patchy grey, he wears a dark blue shirt with the top two buttons undone revealing a
braided rope around his neck supporting a small golden pendant depicting a rune. He's got
a Doberman dog by his side, black for the most part but with a few patches of brown]
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Bateery Pary Night): He's standing by
the railings to the park looking out over the water with the dog curled up underneath a
nearby bench.
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He wanders his way
through the paths in Battery Park. He remembers this place...he used to come here from
time to time, with Stephen. He looks around with wonderment, re-acquanting himself with
the area.
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He's a young man, maybe
18 or 19, small and slight. His babyface is hidden under a Robert Smith-like mop of black
hair, hanging greasily down over his innocent green eyes. Dressed in a pair of dirty,
ragged jeans, old Converse All-Stars, and a T-Shirt of a smiley-face in a Hannibal
Lector-ish mask, he's very much a child in a teen's body. His demeanor is meek and
hesitant. He projects a childlike innocence about him. (Arcane 1)

lad, being afraid only makes the world harder to deal with, be confident and it'll all
work out sooner or later."
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He looks over at
Kaeleigh as Thanos addresses her, pursing his lips nervously. More people.
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: *hmming softly to herself, shes just
about near the others when thanos speaks to her, and she gives a warm smile to them both,
inviting warm voice* evening....certainly nice night out tonight....
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He smiles a touch in
response to Kaeleigh. She seems nice. "Smells nice."
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Yes it is
that, a lovely night, and with lovely creatures such as yourself walking in it too."
He says with a Grin. "I'm Thanos and the boy here is Paris." he says nodding to
Paris.
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: *another smile hearing paris, she
nods, murmuring yes it does, then looks to thanos, hand offered out to shake*
thanos...greek right? and paris....like in the myth*chuckling softly to herself* feel like
Im out of place with my name.....Im Kaeliegh...*offers out a hand to both thanos and
paris, each in turn*
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: Again, a hesitance,
before he steps forward, reaching out tentatively to shake her hand. "Kaeleigh. I
like that name...it's pretty."
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): Shakes her hand
and grins "What's a name? does it matter what it is or where it comes from really,
just there to stop confushion" He says as though thinking it over. "Don't even
always do a good job of that" he chuckles.
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "So what
brings the two of you up here tonight?"
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: "Thanos means
death." He says it almost unconsciously, escaping his lips before he realizes it's
happen, and then, he looks up at the man, clapping his hand over his mouth.
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): He laughs at
Paris "That it does lad, maybe why my father named me it, lol. didn't know it meant
that till a few days back though, very educated sorts around here, they know stuff like
that."
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: 3,8,8,3,8,7,
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: *thanking paris softly when he
compliments her name, she nods to thanos' asessment of the use of names in agreement, and
before she can answer about what brings her she hears paris mention what thanos means,
smiling again and nodding* thats right....cant believe I forgot that....shhh*with a
playful grin* dont tell my college professors....Id never hear the end of it
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Don't
worry about it, I'm not going to take offence, why would I lad?"
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: "Well, it actually
means bear-man as a name." He starts rambling on in that kid-like voice that makes
his words seem odd. "Thanatos means death." He pauses, looking at the two
hesitantly. "...I think."
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "College
you say? What're you studying?"
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): Stops laughing
and looks at Paris for a moment a gentle (or as gentle as he ever looks) "What are
you so terrified of?"
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: was studying....Im a
doctor....surgeon at bellevue, trauma unit...usually*gives a slight grin and shrug* or
whereever they need me...*she looks a bit young for it though...couldnt be past her early
20's if*
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Wow, doing
well for yourself there arn't you." he says looking genuinly impressed and giving a
slight nod.
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He stares down at his
Converses, shaking his head at Thanos's question. "...nothing."
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: *looks to paris with quiet concern
as well, adjusting her hands on the dufflebag strap over her shoulder*
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Why don't
we all take a seat" he says point to the picnic bench a little way off. "Unless
anyone's in a rush to be somewhere, it's always nice to sit down and have a talk, and it's
a nice night for it too."
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: I try...*shrugging as she smiles,
giving a slight blush, then looking to paris again, speaking in a soft calming voice* dont
think anything of it.....thinking of fear more just gives it power, makes you freeze
up...its ok....nothing to fear here...right?*looking to thanos for agreement*
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Certainly
not. we're all friends here after all." he says with a grin walking over and sitting
on the table.
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He looks at Kaeleigh,
then nods, smiling a little before ducking his head back down. She IS a nice lady, he's
decided. "...okay."
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Buck up
lad." he says giving paris a grin. "So what do you do?"
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: *nodding to thanos, she heads over
to the table and benches, settling the bag on her lap once she sits on the bench facing
the other two more or less*
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: "I..." He
pauses a moment, looking up at Thanos, as if confused by that statement. "I don't
know. I was in a dark place until recently, and then there was lots of noise, and
shouting, and screaming. The door opened somehow, and I got out. It smelled bad
there." He looks around, nodding as if to comfirm something. "It smells nicer
here. MUCH nicer."
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: She follows along behind
Kaeleigh...still keeping his distance, though his hesitance has faded some.
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): He looks
puzzledly at Paris. "Sounds like you had a rough time. Well on the plus side the
future's brighter now that your out of the dark place aye?" His face having gone from
athe puzzled expreshion to a solem thoughtful one.
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: ((He. Damn transgender
PC's.))
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: *looking at paris with even more
concern, her voice soft and gentle again* what kind of dark place paris? was it a hospital
or someones house?
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: "Oh, yeah. It's
much nicer now. I'm not chained down anymore. I didn't like that much."
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): He looks at
paris his eye gentle though his face is still solem and he reaches up to caress the
pendant he wears around his neck. "Chained?"
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: "Not a
hospital." He shakes his head. "It was all dark. Ugly people. But nice." He
sighs. "I miss Fausto though. He was a nice man."
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): His eyes have
glazed a bit, as though he's lost in thought. "Hmmm, were they chained too?"
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He sits doun on top of
a picnic table, his knees coming to rest against his chest He folds his arms, resting them
on top of his knees and resting his chin on his forearms.
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: does it bother you to talk about
this place paris , even though youre not there anymore?
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: "No, they fed me.
They talked to me, too. Especially the thin one. He's very nice."
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Even if it
does he has to face the past, it's the only way he can open the future." His voice
sounds older than he looks, tired and sad.
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: "I don't mind. It
wasn't too bad. Just lonely, no one to talk to, except when he came in and talked to
me."
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "He?"
he says his voice like ice.
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: speaking of fed..*looking up as if
remembering something, she reaches into her duffle, snagging out a pie shaped foil wrapped
container* anyone hungry? I know I wont eat it all....at least I shouldnt...*smiling
softly again*
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He looks up at Thanos,
and smiles a little, reaching out to pat his shoulder comfortingly. "It's okay.
Everything will be okay."
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Nah I'm
not thanks, but I'm sure any that no one wants karos will eat" He says with a chuckle
some of the solemness gone from his face but his voice still cold.
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He looks at Kaeleigh,
shaking his head. "No thank you."
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: His arms fold back on
top his his knees again, and he rests his chin there once more.
Xu Xian: He exits the subway, glancing around before
proceeding into battery park.

Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Thanks
kid." He says with a grin. "Where you been staying since you got out of the dark
place? you got somewhere?"
Chimal Miquiztli: He walks quietly, hands in his
pocket, casual attitude.
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night):

Chimal Miquiztli: He walks into the park. Long,
midnight hair frames a young Hispanic face, long-lashed eyes darkly glowing, offset by a
bemused twitch of his sensual lips. His deceptively slender, 5'11" body moves with
the unconscious seduction of a masculine male who is infinitely comfortable in his own
skin. His age is difficult to determine, his gaze direct and mature, his body well
developed, but his face youthful. He is wearing melted-on blue jeans, as he despises the
baggy look and prefers the way the denim hugs his backside, and a white t-shirt tucked in.
A black belt and a black leather peacoat complete the ensemble. His watch is
extraordinary, a black-banded, black-faced Tiffany watch rimmed in pure platinum.

night new footsteps are clearly audable and he glances in their direction picking Xu and
Chimal out but only as shadowy figures.

always people about. He continues on at an unhurried pace.
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Ah a
wonderer, only way to live, but best not to be because of being on the run. the people
from the dark place looking for you?
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: "They might
be." He nods, keeping an eye on the new people, looking from Chimal to Xu slowly.
"Others are, too. But it's okay. I'll show them that I'm nice."
Xu Xian: (*Slaps Chimal off of his color*))
Chimal Miquiztli: ((~growls~))
Chimal Miquiztli: ((Oh, fine! ~L~))
Xu Xian: He slows as he heads into the park, glancing
over at Paris, giving Thanos a brief nod, and Chimal, too.
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "I got a
place you can hide out at if you want, it's not much, but nobody else goes there." he
says keeping track of the shadows his hand releasing his pendant and tensing on the table
just encase.
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: do you 'want' someplace to stay
paris?*the look on her face says she cant really help but ask,curious and concerned at the
same time*
Chimal Miquiztli: Hm, a nod? Ah! He smiles a slow,
lazy grin at Xu, veering that direction. "Hola, amigo." A casual glance over the
others nearby.
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): He nods back but
keeps an eye on him.
Xu Xian: He's tall, over 6.5 feet, broadshouldered, and
Eurasian, with a light olive-gold complexion. His eyes are hid behind wraparound Raybans,
his lowerface looking more European than Asian, despite his coloring. He looks to be in
his early 20's and wears a Quentin Tarantino suit, complete with narrow tie.
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: (anyone need a DD of her lemme
know*nods*) *hearing thanos offer already she falls silent, just listening now, hands
resting on her dufflebag in her lap*
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: "I'm okay.
Really." He nods. "There's lots of places to stay in the city. Good, safe
places."
Xu Xian: He nods to Chimal, giving him a smile.
"How you doing?"
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Citys are
good for that." he nods. "not sure about safe, but plenty of places to
hide."
Chimal Miquiztli: "Bien, as always." A
bemused twitch of his lips. "I'm considering getting a hold of Karlos, actually. To
help him out in his endeavors at the Concerto," he murmurs.
Xu Xian: He snorts to himself, a bitter twist to his
lips. "Good for you."
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: "I know the safe
places." He nods a tiny bit, speaking in that quiet, kid-like voice. "Places
they won't find me until I show them I'm good."
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Show who
you're good?"
Chimal Miquiztli: "Not a good idea?" He
looks mildly surprised. His gaze slithers over the others once more, appraising. The dog
as well.
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: "The people who
are looking for me. They think I was bad, but I wasn't. Someone else was. So I have to
show them I'm not bad."
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Who are
they? Do you know?"
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): ((Open, Batter
park night, 2 groups at presnet)
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: *yawning softly, trying to suppress
it, she keeps listening to thanos and paris, most every question she thinks to ask already
asked before she can get to it*
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: 6,1,4,5,8,9,
Xu Xian: "It may be good for you. Karlos is a good
man."
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He nods. "They
know me. They're the big people. Important people..." ~Whispered~ "...like
Mercy." He shivers a little, his eyes growing wide with fear at the mention of his
name.
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): He whispers back
"Who's Mercy?"
Chimal Miquiztli: "I don't want to keep waiting
for something to happen, and I've done enough indulging of my hedonism." No
bitterness, definite amusement at himself. "I thought it may be useful, and at least
interesting."
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: "One of the
important people. He doesn't like me very much."
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "Why not?
Do you know where he is? maybe I could try and straighten stuff out for you."
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He shakes his head,
feet moving from the table-top to the bench, as he starts to warily slide off the table.
"...I should go now."
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: *still listening she looks around
distractedly, noticing the others off a bit, looking at them curiously before looking back
to paris curiously*
Xu Xian: He nods. "It's always good to be
useful." He doesn't seem to be too engaged in the conversation, his attention on
Paris and Thanos. Or sliding away toward Castle Clinton. He looks tired, as if he's been
burning the candle at both ends.
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): "There's
nothing to be scared of kid, we're on your side." Looks to Kaeleigh
Chimal Miquiztli: He nods, stepping back. A curious
glance over the two he's looking at, but that is all. "I'll leave you to your
thoughts," he murmurs.
Xu Xian: He taps himself out a Marlboro and lights it
with a book of matches, offering one to Chimal.
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: you dont have to go if you dont want
to paris....*nodding and agreeing with thanos*
Chimal Miquiztli: "Gracias, but I have my
cloves." A faint smile. "They taste better."
Cassie Raines: She enters the park gates, and heads
around edge of the park, shes not really paying attention to anyone in particular, perhaps
just out for a stroll, though her eyes seem to go to the water once in a while.
Xu Xian: He turns his head to look at Chimal, who can
feel those gold-hazel eyes burning into him through the Raybans. "How's Catie?"
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He plants his feet on
the concrete path, and starts to move away, smiling shyly to the both of them.
"No...I sh-should go. Umm...bye." He turns around and starts to head off.
Xu Xian
: 2,6,5,4,5,8,8,Cassie Raines: She pauses by the railings and looks
out at the water, letting herlsefl rest there.
Xu Xian: He notes Cassie enter the park, and Paris
heading along the path (Paris heading toward or away from Xu and Chimal?)
Chimal Miquiztli: "She is well. Her nightmares
seem to have stopped. We have a raven living with us now and are getting two
kittens." Light smirk. "Aren't we domestic?"
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: He heads down the path,
moving out of the park and intending to cross the street.
Kaeleigh O'Reilly: goodbye ...*waving to paris as he
starts to head off, sighing softly once he does and shaking her head, rubbing the temples
gently*

Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: ((Away))
Chimal Miquiztli: Oh, he certainly notices Cassie,
taking the time to study her figure.
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): He doesn't see
anyone following the boy but notieces cassandra over by the water a short way away.
"Good evening, nice to see you're back about again." he calls over.

Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): Glances down to
Kaeleigh "You ok?"
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): ((Yep, very much
so, come on in))
Cassie Raines: she turns her head to Thanos and
smiles, "thanks," but she doesnt offer more than a smile, ((DD anyone?))
Xu Xian: "A raven?" he raises a brow.
"Interesting. You know anything about Sadie Blackfoot?"
Chimal Miquiztli: Glances at Thanos. Looks back to
Cassie. Gets the urge to light up a clove, give his hands and mouth something to do, so he
taps out one and lights up.
Xu Xian: He whispers to Chimal.
Chimal Miquiztli: "The name is vaguely
familiar, but I know nothing specific." ((gosh darn it! *L* I always play the wrong
one with Xu at any given time - he needs to talk to Mercury...ya want I should switch?))
Thanos Augustus [Playtesting] (Battery Pary Night): ((Is DD
characters description or scene or sceane?)) "Another party? or just out for the air
tonight?
Paris Bennet [Battery Park]: Once outside the park,
he picks up the pace, jogging/running his way across the street to the diner, disappearing
into the alleyway next to it.
Chimal Miquiztli: He flicks a glance at Xu.
"Sí, knew about him," a soft whisper. "Gracias."
Cassie Raines: ((character i meant... Cassie walks
silently through the gloom in her dark overcoat and jet-black hair appears to fade into
the night around her and contrast with her pale skin, this makes her seem angelic. She
looks about 24-25, 5'8 and is slim yet curvy. Her features are vaguely European of Italian
decent, and although the word beautiful is often overused, in her case its inadequate. Her
hair is perfectly straight and most often tied into a long ponytail. Her skin is milky
white and her eyes seem large with long dark lashes, her eye colour is dark chocolaty
brown but they appear to sparkle when she smiles. Her features are small and her hair
frames her face, making it seem slimmer and perfectly symmetrical. The mouth is small and
her lips always seem to be playing on a smile with perfectly straight pearly white teeth.
