Alexander Donovan: Alex drives through
the fun New York traffic in his old beat up vehicle.
Aerin Thomas: ((Meet the week room DD:))
The apartment is small, but comfortable, and cluttered as all hell with movie
and wrestling memorabilia, from "Star Wars" lithographs to a replica WWE World
Title belt. A computer desk is set up in Jeremy and Ita's bedroom, 2 couches,
and entertainment center with an older 27" TV, plus a couple other chairs. Small
card table passes as a dining room table. The second room is still empty.
http://www.geocities.com/ravynfeather/Bleh/ItaAndAerin.jpg
Aerin Thomas: ((Weak, not week. And color
change for sanity. *S*))
Antonio Pavlatos: Antonio is in the
passenger seat, balancing some plastic bags in his lap.
Alexander Donovan: And pulls into the
apartment building guest area (if it has one) or finds the nearest spot (if
not).
Antonio Pavlatos: (I think I finally
picked one not as often used)
Alexander Donovan: ((Hey, it's WoD... Blood
is THE thing.))
Aerin Thomas: The man has a water on for
tea already, and a cigarette burning between his lips. The trench coat is off,
hanging near the wall; the shoulder holster with gun hanging next to it. He has
his hair pulled back, the goateree has been shaved; the more casual clothes have
been exchanged for a white dress shirt and black slacks. The steel-toes boots
are still on. He looks quite tired, like someone who's gotten a couple hours of
sleep total in the last few days, though he certainly moves with more then
enough energy.
Alexander Donovan: Alex gets out, making
sure Tony is out too before checking the locks on the doors to make sure the car
is secured (or as secured as it'll get) before walking up to the intercom and
finding the appropriate button.
Antonio Pavlatos: He is careful opening
the door and getting out of the vehicle, holding the bags carefully upright,
with one hand underneath them.
Alexander Donovan: And wow, he has on a
jacket when he gets out of the car.
Aerin Thomas: At the BZZT, he looks up,
and moves toward the intercom, pushing the button. "Hello?"
Alexander Donovan: "Alex and Tony, still up
for a talk?"
Aerin Thomas: "Oh, hey. Absolutely...come
on up. Second floor, second apartment on your right." He buzzes them in.
Alexander Donovan: Alex holds the door for
Tony, since Tony has the bags.
Antonio Pavlatos: He slides through the
door, then waits and follows Alex's lead up to Aerin's apartment, still being
very cautious with the bags.
Alexander Donovan: Alex takes the stairs
up, continuing to hold the doors on the way. He finds the appartment and knocks.
Not too heavy, they are expected and he doesn't want to wake anyone that might
still be asleep.
Alexander Donovan: ((Unless I have the time
messed up))
Antonio Pavlatos: (Afternoon)
Aerin Thomas: A quick check of the
peephole--voice or not, the man is nothing but paranoid--and he opens the door,
smiling faintly to them. "Hey...come on in. Good to see you guys." He steps
aside to let them in.
Alexander Donovan: Alex offers his hand as
they come in. "Thanks for the invite."
Antonio Pavlatos: The earthone shaded,
oversized sweater he is wearing rides up a bit as he hitches up the bags, and
steps inside the apartment, showing skin hugging, faded jeans that ride low
enough on his hips that they give the appearance that they would slide off at
any moment. He is much more casually dressed than he had been at the club. His
long, thick hair is loose, as usual, and he gives Aerin a shy smile.
Aerin Thomas: He takes Alexander's hand,
shaking it with a similar grip to at the club...firm and warm, thought maybe
there's a touch less confidence in it. Antonio gets a warm smile, a look bit
longer then would be normal. "Make yourself at home. I've got water going for
tea, if you'd like, or I can make something else. Do you guys mind if I smoke?"
The questions directed toward Alexander, of course.
Antonio Pavlatos: He gives a quick glance
to Alexander, then speaks softly to Aerin, very slightly shrugging his
shoulders. "I... I made a little somethin' to eat. Alex says bringin' food to
those here is a good gift."
Antonio Pavlatos: Obviously an almost
practiced speech, as if Alex had perhaps told him to be the one to say it.
Alexander Donovan: "I spend all night,
almost every night, in clubs. I can handle smoke. Even if most cities are
banning it now."
Alexander Donovan: Nods at Tony's comment.
"Or so a little bird told me."
Antonio Pavlatos: A brief look from
Alexander to Aerin. He just stands there for the moment, holding the bags.
Aerin Thomas: "Thank you, Tony. That's
very kind of you...I appreciate that." He nods a little to Tony, sincerely
grateful, and then looks to Alex with a bit of a grin. "Yeah, tell me about it.
It's almost as if they care about the health of their people or something." The
grin gets a little wry, and he gestures toward a choice of kitchen table or
couches. "Take your pick."
Alexander Donovan: "Tony, set up breakfast
for us."
Antonio Pavlatos: A soft smile to Aerin at
his words, then a nod to Alexander. "Yes, Sir." He moves to the table, pulling
out various plastic, covered containers.
Alexander Donovan: Alex takes a seat on the
couch and waits for Aerin to join him.
Aerin Thomas: He moves to join him,
sitting on the couch kitty corner to the one Alexander takes, right near the arm
rest. The pack of Marlboro 100's is picked up off the coffee table, and he chain
lights one of the the butt of the old one before stubbing it out. "So how are
you?"
Alexander Donovan: "Keeping busy. And
finding out some interesting tidbits. Such as some kind of Treaty?"
Antonio Pavlatos: After the containers are
out of the bags, he pulls out a folder from the bottom of the last bag, and
silently moves to set it beside Alexander, then moves back to the table.
Aerin Thomas: "Ahh, yes...the Treaty." He
nods a little bit. "Before I go further, I guess a bit of more official
introduction is in order. I'm Aerin Dream Thomas, a Fostern Philodox of the
Children of Gaia...representative from the Sept of Gaia's Hand to the Sept of
the Green."
Antonio Pavlatos: A quick dart of a look
at Aerin, and then his eyes watch Alexander as he takes the lids off the
containers, as if waiting for a signal perhaps.
Alexander Donovan: Alex nods at that.
"Alexander Donovan, Tekhemet Lord of Sunlight... Simba to you... Currently
frellancing." Alex nods to Tony then, and motions for him to introduce himself.
Antonio Pavlatos: "I'm... Antonio Pavlatos..."
His tone softens even more, as if nervous at admitting it. "K...kin to the..."
pauses "...Furies, eh... Black Furies."
Alexander Donovan: Alex watches Aerin
carefully at Tony's introduction. ((and that should be 'freelancing', frelling
typos. I blame Farscape for that one.))
Aerin Thomas: He nods, absolutely polite.
"A pleasure, Alexander...always a pleasure to meet one of the Simba." He looks
to Antonio next, his smile a bit more gentle there, no less cordial. "And
Antonio...also, a pleasure, truly."
Antonio Pavlatos: He drops his head after
the introduction, making himself very busy at his work.
Antonio Pavlatos: (Add to that post
then... He just misses Aerin's smile, he drops his head after the introduction
making himself very busy at his work.
Alexander Donovan: Alex chuckles a bit.
"And here I was worried. I was under the impression that my people weren't
exactly the most popular in the world."
Aerin Thomas: ((*G* My mind translated.))
The introduction of Antonio as kin does not seem to be a surprise to
him...mention of his tribe is certainly not taken negatively. He looks back to
Alexander and nods. "So, then...the Treaty. You actually came to the right
person to ask...until yesterday, I helped enforce it, so I know it quite well."
Antonio Pavlatos -> Aerin Thomas: (I dont'
know how much perception or empathy Aerin has, but he might notice his hands
shake just slightly, and he doesn't seem to have liked to have admitted that,
for some reason.)
Alexander Donovan: "Until yesterday?"
Aerin Thomas -> Antonio Pavlatos: ((Per+Emp
pool of 7, so it's probable. *S*))
Aerin Thomas: He nods. "I
resigned...purely personal reasons, no problem with the Treaty, I assure you."
Antonio Pavlatos: Aerin had said
make yourself at home and the boy takes him quite literally at that as he
moves to the small kitchen with one of the containers, and checking on the water
he said he had on to boil.
Alexander Donovan: "It was laid out for me
a bit the other night. I suppose the question is... what happens if I run into
something that needs to be dealt with, and that something tries to hide behind
that Treaty?"
Ethan Anderson: There's the sound of
someone wrestling with bags and keys just outside the door, followed by a dull
thud. Finally, Ethan gets things squared away and gets the door unlocked and
manages to push it open, backpack over one shoulder, tray with two coffees and a
bag of McDonald's in one hand, second smaller bag in the other.
Alexander Donovan: Alex smiles up at the
new arrival, glancing at Aerin for a cue as to what way this goes.
Aerin Thomas: "Then you go to the Concerto
Club, which is the Treaty party, and lodge a formal complaint. You'll want to go
there to meet with Jody Yu, the manager, and be registered as a Treaty member as
it is. If the person is part of a Treaty party, then they'll deal with him. If
not, then he's fair game, and you can go after him. I assume we're talking about
Bratovich?" Watch the frown hit his eyes. Of course, they already know he's not
Adrian's greatest fan.
Antonio Pavlatos: This container is made
of foil, and finding the oven he sticks it into it. Pausing, he looks around the
kitchen to find cups and whatever tea that Aerin had been planning to prepare.
Aerin Thomas: He looks up as the door
opens, tensing visibly...until he sees it's Ethan. He relaxes and smiles warmly
to Ethan. "Hey, you...didn't know you'd be coming down. You could have called
and had me get you..." He's obviously more then happy to see the young man. "I'm
sorry...Alexander, Antonio, this is Ethan. One of my family." Waiting for the
door to shut for more formal information.
Ethan Anderson: "H-hi," he stammers,
eyes flicking from Alex to Aerin and back. He smiles uncertainly.
Ethan Anderson: He pushes the door shut
behind him, drops the bag and backpack and then heads to Aerin with the food,
his expression sheepish. "Wanted to s-surprise you," he murmurs softly, leaning
down to kiss the man softly on the cheek, his long blond hair sliding across his
shoulders to almost hide their faces.
Alexander Donovan: Alex languidly rises
from his spot on the couch to offer his right hand to Ethan, his left helping
with a bag.
Antonio Pavlatos: *If he can see them from
the kitchen, he nods to Ethan, giving him a shy smile. He is keeping himself
busy while the two other men speak.*
Aerin Thomas: He sets down the cigarette
as Ethan approaches and smiles to the kiss, returning it.
Ethan Anderson: He hands Aerin the
McDonalds and turns to shake Alex's hand. "Hi. E-ethan Anderson."
Antonio Pavlatos: He sees the bags, and
hears Ethan, then gives a confused look to Alexander.
Aerin Thomas: The tea is sitting on the
counter...Tazo teas, several types. All of the man's regular teas are up at the
farm. An Earl Grey is set aside, Aerin's choice.
Alexander Donovan: "Alexander Donovan"
he motions toward the other room. "Antonio Pavlatos. A pleasure."
Ethan Anderson: He glances towards the
kitchen area and smiles softl to Antonio, nodding. "I'm g-gonna go put the
s-stuff in the bedroom," he says, glancing at Aerin before moving to the door to
grab the bags.
Alexander Donovan: Alex sits back down to
get comfortable again.
Aerin Thomas: "Ethan is kin of my Tribe,"
he explains by way of clarification.
Antonio Pavlatos: (I meant the
McDonald's bags, but thanks for the tea bag info too... lol) He notices what
seems to have been what Aerin was making for himself, and prepares it. Then he
checks out the other teas, and choses one for himself. As the smell of roast
beef begins to filter out of the kitchen, he moves to turn the oven off, not
sure now what to do with the food he brought.
Alexander Donovan: "Nice looking too."
Aerin Thomas: He picks up his cigarette
again and takes a drag, sitting back. "So...the Treaty. And Adrian." An look
given to Ethan, apologetic as he rubs at the bridge of his nose a little bit. He
knows the subject matter's going to be a sensitive one around him.
Antonio Pavlatos: He quietly steps to the
things on the table and gets a single serving envelope of coffee, and moves back
to prepare a cup for Alexander, then brings the cups out to the men. (Which
should have been posted first. He wouldn't have made his own tea before he did
Alex's coffee.)
Ethan Anderson: Thankfully the petite
blond was out of hearing range of that one or his tan skin would have turned a
nice, molten red. He drops the bags in the bedroom and takes a moment to pull
his thick hair back into a tight braid and tuck in his t-shirt so that he looks
semi preppy and decent.
Alexander Donovan: Alex waits patiently.
"I don't suppose the Treaty participants get a decoder ring or something so we
know who we can mess with and who not?" Alex takes the coffee from Tony and sips
on it.
Aerin Thomas: He smiles some at
Alexander's comment about Ethan, looking toward his kin with an adoring nod.
Ethan Anderson: He smiles at that nod from
Aerin as he moves out of the bedroom, flushing softly, happily. Ethan settles on
the floor between Aerin's legs, curling his arms around one and resting his
cheek against the man's knee as he listens.
Antonio Pavlatos: Unless Alex motions for
him to sit, he moves back into the kitchen, leaving them to speak. He takes out
the container and sits it on top of the stove and sips at his tea, uncertain now
how to proceed, and remains in the kitchen.
Alexander Donovan: Once Ethan sits down,
Alex does motion for Tony to join him.
Aerin Thomas: "If it were only that easy."
He sighs a little, taking his tea from Tony with a grateful smile. A sip off it,
then a drag off the smoke. Caffeine and nicotine, his source of energy and calm.
"The purpose of the Treaty is to prevent the normal humans around us from
getting caught in the crossfire. In order to help that, the Concerto does not
say who is and isn't a member. So the general rule is, 'if you don't know,
assume yes.' In our little friend's case, I happen to know that he is not a
member of the Treaty...though I'm still not totally sure what he is, I have some
ideas."
Alexander Donovan: "You mean, other than
the garden variety sick bastard?"
Aerin Thomas: Ahh, yes. The other source
of his calm. He smiles down at Ethan, relaxing a little more and setting his tea
down, then stubbing out the cigarette butt, before his hands move to gently rub
at the kin's shoulders.
Alexander Donovan: ((Or finish what he was
doing, then join them))
Aerin Thomas: "Yes, other then that."
Ethan Anderson: Ethan glances up at Aerin,
eyes adoring as the man settles hands on his shoulders. He nibbles his lips a
moment and then glances to Alex. "I th-think that Adrian's a ghoul...B-but he
n-n-n..."He sighs. "He never talks about anyone imp..Important to him. S-so I
don't know who his leech is."
Aerin Thomas: "That's my theory as well.
No one goes to Alcatraz in '63 and looks as young as him. I just don't know how
he got his monthly stash in prison."
Antonio Pavlatos: With a nod and a
reassured smile from Alexander, he finishes laying out the rest of the food,
placing the heated, foil wrapped container on the table under a pad. He brought
plates from the kitchen, and for the moment leaves them and silverware on the
table, moving to Alexander at his motion. Noting Ethan he smiles, and seems
perhaps more at ease, and drops bonelessly down at Alex's feet, resting his head
on his knee.
Alexander Donovan: Alex rubs his chin a
bit, filling in the blanks of the words he doesn't quite know as best he can. "I
wonder if we can get his visitation list. Especially those since he started
behaving himself."
Ethan Anderson: He smiles back to Tony, a
little shyly maybe, and nods. Its rather clear though that speaking about Adrian
disturbs the young man just slightly.
Alexander Donovan: Alex runs his fingers
through Tony's hair when he joins him. "He does talk about his cousing Alice
quite a bit. Almost obsessively."
Ethan Anderson: "Sh-she's not his master."
He shakes his head. "H-he'd never l-l-let a woman have that much control over
him." He shivers, thinking about just how much control leeches have over their
ghouls and turns his head into Aerin's knee to hide the sadness on his face.
Antonio Pavlatos: He stiffens at something
Ethan says, eyes blinking rapidly.
Aerin Thomas: "Yeah, Alice." He frowns a
bit at mention of her, though it's more contemplative then the anger that Adrian
invokes. "She's not a leech, though. I've seen her during the day. She's...I'm
not sure. Still looking into that one." One of his hands leavs Ethan's shoulder
to brush Ethan's cheek comfortingly.
Alexander Donovan: Alex looks at Ethan
carefully, wondering how close a contact he's had with Adrian. "Are your certain
she's a she? I've met some that can fool most anyone."
Ethan Anderson: He lifts his head and
presses his cheek into Aerin's hand, eyes closing to hide the tears. Exhaling
softly he turns and presses a kiss to the other's palm, calming as he lifts a
hand to wipe his eyes.
Ethan Anderson: "Y-yeah...If he's
o-obsessed with her its because he c-can control her...He l-likes women in a
n-not healthy way."
Aerin Thomas: "Very unhealthy," he says
darkly, looking to Alexander. "You know his rap sheet? It's a doozy."
Alexander Donovan: "I think him liking
anyone would not be healthy, at least not for the person he likes." A hand drops
across Tony's chest, instinctively getting a bit protective.
Alexander Donovan: "I know it. Well, enough
of it. There was a point when further reading didn't seem to have much point."
Ethan Anderson: "H-he c-can be rough b-but
he never hurt me. Not really. H-he's done things to intentionally scare me
though." He frowns.
Aerin Thomas: "I'm fairly sure Alice is a
she...not totally, though. Only met her a couple times. I plan on making contact
at a point that Adrian's not around her. But she is definitely not his master.
The relationship goes more in the other direction, from what I've seen."
Aerin Thomas: "Yes, hon, but I really do
think he's used you to try and get to me, and through me..." He shrugs a little
bit, looking away from the others and to his tea. It's picked up, and he sips at
it. "At any rate...he needs to be dealt with. Badly."
Antonio Pavlatos: He glances up at
Alexander at his words, remembering his anger at Adrian when the man had watched
him - and at what he had said. He is obvious nevous as well, but he looks at
Alexander in a way that was so open, so trusting him to handle things.
Ethan Anderson: "I know," he murmurs
softly. "I know he does."
Alexander Donovan: "Was it you that made
the last attempt?"
Aerin Thomas: He looks at Alex, brow
furrowing. "No. I've never attacked Adrian, much as I've liked to."
Alexander Donovan: "I saw him and Alice
at Battery park. He was bitching about a 'viscious wolf'. I guess you aren't the
only one that thinks that."
Aerin Thomas: "I guess not. I have
threatened him before, to stay away from my family...but never actually done
anything to this point. He always took my threats as if I'd just told him I
liked his shoes." He frowns, thinking. "A vicious wolf...interesting. Definitely
not me, though...he's never seen my lupus. It means he has a lot of enemies.
That's good...means muddier waters for suspects when he vanishes." Yes, that was
a when, not an if. He squeezes Ethan's shoulders lightly before going back to
the light kneading.
Antonio Pavlatos: He looks up then at
Aerin, then to Alexander, and shifts nervously. He bits at his bottom lip, then
rubs his cheek against Alex's knee, a very slight tug at his pants leg.
Ethan Anderson: He sighs softly and
settles his head against Aerin's knee again. "A-adrian was my only r-real friend
f-for a good long while."
Alexander Donovan: "If you want a laundry
list, just go through the families of his victims out three or four generations.
Might find a familiar name."
Antonio Pavlatos: He seems to about to
open his mouth at what Ethan says, but then rubs his cheek against Alex's knee
again.
Antonio Pavlatos: He seems to about to
open his mouth at what Ethan says, but then rubs his cheek against Alex's knee
again.
Alexander Donovan: Alex touches Tony's
shoulder as he says to Ethan "That's what all the pushers and pimps say to their
marks."
Antonio Pavlatos: (oops, sorry about
double post)
Ethan Anderson: "He wasn't my dealer," he
says softly, standing and moving into the kitchen.
Aerin Thomas: He looks from Alexander to
Ethan, nodding at Alex's words. "He's a manipulator, Ethan. He had an agenda.
And he's very good at what he does...so it's not your fault."
Alexander Donovan: Alex shakes his head.
"He wasn't pushing drugs. That doesn't mean he wasn't pushing."
Ethan Anderson: He sighs and pours himself
a cup of coffee and leans back against the counter to drink it.
Antonio Pavlatos: He looks at Ethan, then
closes his eyes at Alexander's remarks and a shudder runs through him. He licks
his lips. "He... he wanted me to go to... work with him... with animals..." He
looks between Alexander, and very briefly Aerin. "How could... how could someone
so... so good with animals be... be like those people Alex..." a quick glance
again to Alex. "really bad people? I seen him with... with the dog... it
loved him, 'n was in real good health." He seems to take a deep breath, but
doesn't say anything else at the moment.
Antonio Pavlatos: The talk of drugs makes
him seem more nervous, and he bites at his lower lip again.
Ethan Anderson: "He understands
animals. Their simple minds. Their instincts. He's more animal then person
sometimes," Ethan says from the kitchen, his voice modulated...professional. "He
does what he does because it feels good. ITs like instinct for him."
Aerin Thomas: "There are vampiric powers,
Tony, which allow them to speak with animals. It gives them an advantage when
dealing with them, that they can use to cover up their complete lack of
morality."
Antonio Pavlatos: He grows thoughtful. It
was almost as if he either couldn't or wouldn't believe this man was as bad as
the two men thought, but keeps his mouth shut.
Alexander Donovan: Alex tries to think of a
way to put the animal's mindset into words... but just can't wrap it around the
English language, and instead goes for a different track. He just pats Tony's
shoulder for a moment. "It hardly takes powers. It's not uncommon for the
completely antisocial to still be able to deal with animals."
Antonio Pavlatos: (or three men, sorry)
Ethan Anderson: Ethan moves back into the
livingroom to stare down at Tony. He knows that look...He's had it himself. "You
don't w-want him to get his hands on you. You're too pretty. Too delicate.
H-he'll hurt you. M-maybe rape you while he chokes you and he p-probably won't
cum until you're blue."
Alexander Donovan: Alex smirks at
something, winking at Aerin. "Most animals anyway."
Aerin Thomas: Green eyes cast across the
apartment to Ethan, a small smile coming to his face. Sympathetic, supportive.
Antonio Pavlatos: His tea cup is empty,
and he looks at Alex's. He rises, taking Alex's cup without being told, and goes
to refill it.
Antonio Pavlatos: (DLP)
Aerin Thomas: He looks back to Alex at
that, and grins suddenly. "Well, yeah."
Ethan Anderson: Screw the floor. Sighing,
he curls himself into Aerin's lap without a by your leave.
Alexander Donovan: Alex runs his hand
across Tony's cheek.
Antonio Pavlatos: He looks up at Ethan,
his chocolate colored eyes haunted, his tone hardly audble. "It ain't that
bad... they don't... they don't normally kill ya though... I... I don't want it
that bad though, no more... Alex won't let 'em... hurt me no more." (now insert
other post, as his last words would have been very shaky)
Aerin Thomas: He presses his lips tightly
together, jaw setting as he remembers Adrian looking at two particular
individuals...Ethan's words seem to have brought tension to him. He slips his
arms around Ethan as the kin curls up on him, resting his lips against the
other's scalp.
Alexander Donovan: Alex grabs Tony's hand
when he reaches for the cup, just holding it a moment. He then lets go so Tony
can get a refil.
Ethan Anderson: He sighs and burrows his
face against Aerin's neck. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...He's said things...The
clues were all there I was just so glad to have a friend that...That Ammon
couldn't make me stop seeing..."
Antonio Pavlatos: He sets the cup down on
the counter, then without warning he moves quickly to the trash can in the room
(assuming there is one in the kitchen) and up comes the contents of his stomach.
Aerin Thomas: Antonio's words draw a look
to him, his eyes taking on that sort of strange, ethereal intensity he's been
getting lately, like he's not all there. It's not there for long, though, as
Ethan's face meets his neck. A blink, and he looks down to Ethan, nodding, hands
gliding soothingly over the young man's back. "It's okay, hon. It's not your
fault, all right?"
Antonio Pavlatos: He makes very little
noise, and just stands there holding the counter, shaking, trying to get control
of himself. He hastily takes out an inhaler and takes two puffs off of it.
Ethan Anderson: Ethan kisses Aerin's
throat softly and sighs, relaxing by degrees.
Antonio Pavlatos: There is already smoke
in the apartment, and odd as it is, as soon as he catches his breath he shakily
takes out a pack of no-brand name cigarettes from his pocket and lights one.
Aerin Thomas: He looks over at Antonio a
moment, watching him, and then flicks his gaze back to Alexander. "So. Anyway.
I've already started on my plan to deal with him." A slight edge to his voice,
perhaps due to all the tension in the room regarding the situation.
Ethan Anderson: "Why don't we change the topic. Just for a bit," Ethan murmurs, glancing up with a sigh. He cranes his neck towards the kitchen and stands, heading towards Tony.
Alexander Donovan: Alex closes his eyes
a bit. Aerin and Ethan might get the impression that he wants to get up, but
remains seated. Barely. He seems releived when Ethan gets up and goes in to get
to Tony.
Antonio Pavlatos:
d10: Perc+Alert: 9,9,1,2,4,7,6,
Antonio Pavlatos: He hears Ethan, he
turns, hiding most of his face from the other man. "I... I need to go to the
bathroom... please... 'n you kin talk. That's... that's what Alex wanted to do."
Ethan Anderson: Ethan reaches out and
gently brushes Tony's hair back until he can see the other's face. "I'm sorry
about what I said...I j-just...Adrian would kill you I think. Don't trust him
like I did."
Aerin Thomas: He watches Ethan and Antonio
for a long moment, blinking, before tearing his gaze away from them, back to
Alexander. "Maybe Ethan's right...a brief change in topic's in order?"
Alexander Donovan: Alex looks back toward
the two that left. "I think that might be a good idea for the moment. They have
a lot in common."
Antonio Pavlatos: He jerks slightly at the
touch, then freezes, holding himself in place rigidly. He whispers. "I...I don't
trust him... Alex showed... Alex showed me that it ain't... ain't gotta be like
that. But.. I don't... understand..." He seems shakier trying to explain.
"Please, just let me... let me go to the bathroom, please..."
Ethan Anderson: He nods. "There's a spare
toothbrush in the medicine cabinet," he offers softly before moving away, back
to the livingroom.
Aerin Thomas: He smiles very slightly,
finding something strangely ironic, perhaps painful, about that. "Yes, they do."
He leans back and sighs, rubbing at his eyes.
Ethan Anderson: "He's going to use the
restroom," he murmurs, glancing at Alex curiously for a moment before settling
back in Aerin's lap. "You okay, baby?"
Aerin Thomas: "Yeah." He looks up at
Ethan, smiling suddenly. "I'm just tired. Got into it with an old associate last
night...didn't sleep well."
Ethan Anderson: "Have to see what I can
do about that later," he says, smiling almost coyly.
Alexander Donovan: "I'll give him a minute.
Maybe we should all get some rest. We can start fresh when things calm down a
bit."
Antonio Pavlatos: The moment Ethan points
the way, he takes off to the bathroom like a shot. The only sound that might be
heard is water running very fast.
. -> Aerin Thomas: Just in case you were wondering
*hugs* it's Raven who's lurking. Don't worry, didn't see any plans *L* and I
haven't been here long. Just passing through in my half hour before work.
Besides *G* Adrian is in abducted status.
Aerin Thomas -> .: Oh, I know. *G* S'all
good.
Antonio Pavlatos: He comes out of the
bathroom after a while, hair slightly damp around his face, and moves to the
kitchen, getting Alexander more coffee, not speaking, and not looking at anyone.
Aerin Thomas: He looks to Ethan and grins
a little, then back up to Alexander. A short nod. "It sounds like a plan."
Ethan Anderson: "I'm s-sorry I upset
him," he says, glancing at Alex, his voice soft.
Alexander Donovan: "He's survived a lot,
but it left it's mark. I'll take him home and show him how someone that really
cares for him treats him."
Antonio Pavlatos: He runs water and busies
himself heating it, trying to keep enough distance to let them speak
comfortably.
Ethan Anderson: He smiles softly at Alex's
words and glances up at Aerin with a soft blush.
Aerin Thomas: "I've known several people
like that," he says softly to Alexander, his chin resting on Ethan's shoulder.
"A lot of close friends."
Ethan Anderson: He reaches up to stroke
Aerin's face gently, knowing perfectly well on whom in specific the other's mind
is dwelling.
Antonio Pavlatos -> Aerin Thomas: (While
he is looking in the cabinets in the kitchen, he wouldn't find liquer, would
he?)
Alexander Donovan: Alex nods at Aerin's
comment. He stands up and heads to where Tony is at and just wraps his arms
around him.
Aerin Thomas -> Antonio Pavlatos: ((He
would. A bottle of Chivas Regal, 18 years, plus various other bottles.))
Antonio Pavlatos: And just as Alex walks
into the kitchen, he will find him pouring himself a very generous glass of the
strongest liquer that he could find in the cabinets, hands shaking badly. He
starts enough to almost drop the bottle when he wraps his arms around him.
Alexander Donovan: Almost is good. Alex
sets the drink aside and walks with Tony back into the other room.
Aerin Thomas: He leans into Ethan's hand,
eyes closing. "I'm okay," he murmurs lightly to him. "I promise, I am."
Antonio Pavlatos: He murmurs to Alex,
gripping his arm. "I'm sorry... I just wanted somethin'... I'm just so damned...
shaky... please, don't get pissed, Mtolo..."
Ethan Anderson: "We have a sp-spare room,"
Ethan offers, glancing at Alex and Tony. "You're welcome to it."
Alexander Donovan: Alex just runs his
fingers through Tony's hair for a moment, looking between Ethan and Aerin at the
invitation. Does not look even a little angry.
Ethan Anderson: He licks his lips
slightly, watching Tony, his expression going from concerned to sympathetic. He
keeps his hand cupped against Aerin's cheek as he regards their guests.
Antonio Pavlatos: He doesn't look at
the other two men, just murmurs softly. "I screwed up... again... messed up...
your meetin', I'm sorry, I"m really sorry."
Aerin Thomas: "Absolutely," he says after
a long, long moment in response to Ethan's offer, as if he hadn't realized it at
first.
Ethan Anderson: He smiles softly and turns
to kiss Aerin sweetly on the lips, distracting him to give the other two a bit
of privacy.
Alexander Donovan: Alex has to think about
it, but Tony's answer seems to make up his mind. "I think I'll accept that
offer." Alex smiles at Ethan then. "I'm sure you and he have plenty to talk
about."
Alexander Donovan: He does slightly nod his
head to indicate Tony as the 'he' in the last comment.
Antonio Pavlatos: He doesn't say anything
else, but seems to simply want to keep his cheek against Alexander's face,
hiding behind his hair.
Ethan Anderson: "Yeah. I th-think we
might," he agrees when the kiss breaks.
Aerin Thomas: He returns the kiss, eyes
still shut, holding it for a moment before pulling away. He leans back on the
couch, relaxing a little bit, coming back to himself somewhat. His hand brushes
along Ethan's bakc lightly.
Alexander Donovan: Alex kisses Tony on the
cheek. "Which room?"
Antonio Pavlatos: (Alexander's shoulder,
his head only comes up to ALex's shoulder)
Ethan Anderson: Ethan points to the second
bedroom. "The bed is made up and there are towels in the bathroom if either of
you wants a shower or bath>"
Aerin Thomas: "Far one from here...near
the front door," he says quietly.
Alexander Donovan: "Thanks. And
Goodnight." Alex gently takes Tony back to the room indicated. ((and player is
gonna drop for another hours nap before work.))
Antonio Pavlatos: Tony will murmur an
shamed, very quiet, "Thanks, Sir." But it is barely audible against Alexander's
jacket. He'll go with Alexander without saying anything else.
Aerin Thomas: ((Thanks for the scene!
*Hugs*))
Ethan Anderson: Ethan waits until the
bedroom door has closed before shifting in Aerin's lap, eyes searching the tired
Garou's face. "They have a...Unique relationship."
Ethan Anderson: ((Thanks loves!*HUGS*))
Antonio Pavlatos: And, if they look at the
table, Tony had tried to make things nice for their little meeting - plenty of
medium-rare roast beef with split roasted potatoes and carrots, salad, and fresh
baked bread.
Aerin Thomas: "Good night." He looks up,
eyes opening to watch the bedroom door shut, before he shakes his head a little.
Alexander Donovan: ((*hugs everyone, even
the dot.. then passes out*))
Antonio Pavlatos: (*hugs* Night all,
thanks for the scene. Took a real turn I didn't expect, but all is good :) See
ya'll tomorrow night!)
Aerin Thomas: "Just different," he says
with a slight shrug to Ethan. "They're good people." He leans his forehead down
to rest on Ethan's, eyes half-shutting again. "I'm glad you came down. Was
lonely here last night."
Ethan Anderson: "Very good people," he
agrees, sighing softly. "And it was pretty lonely up there too. Figured we could
both use the company, love."
Aerin Thomas: "Yeah." He sighs a little
bit. "Just about lost it last night. A lot. If it wasn't for a few level-headed
people, I think I would have done something very, very stupid."
Ethan Anderson: "I'm glad you didn't lose
it then," he says gently. "But I think I would have understood if you had.
You're nerves are shot, Aerin. You're exhausted. You need to rest and can't
yet."
Aerin Thomas: "I'll hold out...I will." He
nods. "Just gotta finish the new identity...get Ita in contact with a willworker
who can change her looks and voice, hopefully the accent. Get the paperwork
through...then we can finish it all, and I can rest. Maybe then." He lowers his
head to tuck it under Ethan's chin, arms squeezing around him.
Ethan Anderson: He curls his arms around
Aerin's head, kissing the crown gently, holding him close. "Lets go to bed
baby...Just sleep. Lemme hold you."
Aerin Thomas: He takes a deep breath, then
nods. "All right. For a little while. I can't sleep too long...stuff to do
today." Said as if he doesn't always have stuff to do.
Ethan Anderson: "You always have stuff to
do. But you need to rest a bit. Catch your breath," he murmurs.
Aerin Thomas: A hand comes back from
around the kin, to rub at his eye. "A little while. I promise."
Ethan Anderson: He chuckles slightly at
that and stands, offering Aerin his hands. "C'mon, sleepy head."
Ethan Anderson: ((Fade...))
