Michelle (Rauko): *Well this night the girl was actually just sitting near the fountain, staring at the water with a reall odd expression... seems. her hands keep on wrigging, she is staying very still in place*

Victor Slade: *he sits quietly beside the fountain. The ever present metallic case resting across his lap. He seems rather peaceful and is perhaps pondering something of a private nature*

Michelle (Rauko): ((eh.. Aerin comming.. me thinks so changes that to walking with the same gestures ...*and sees if Aerin is coming, though he can alwasy be parking the car-bike while he comes on))

Victor Slade: (alrighto)

Victor Slade: (come on in)

Michelle (Rauko): ((nop...))*And well... she kept on going, seeming not really paying atentiong... though maybe is jsut she is sure this part of the park is nearly always empty.... keeps wringing her hands toguether.... walkign on*

Corbin Justice: In he walks, heading for the fountain.

Victor Slade: *he glances up when Michelle approaches* Evening child. *he greets her quietly. His expression is stoic and his tone even. Whatever he was pondering he seems to have pushed out of his mind*

Michelle (Rauko): *there is a faint startle, those odd eyes perring to Victor, then down, taking a moment in murmuring* ev..eveningRhya *her hands going from wrinding to tug at her sleeves*

Victor Slade: Is there something in particular that you're feeling nervous about? *spoken quietly*

Corbin Justice: He smiles and nods to those he knows, giving Victor a curious look, but his nod is respectful.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: And toward the fountain wanders...an extra from a horror movie? Bliss is in a black vinyl mood today, the pants, the tee-shirt, even the knee-high lace-up boots are in large part black vinyl. The only color he seems to have been able to put on today is the laces to his boots, which are radioactive canary yellow.

Michelle (Rauko): *she would seem about to shake her head, but really can't bring herself to... and rather simply gaces down, quietly*

Victor Slade: *he glances towards Corbin when the youth approaches* I recognize you from the description provided by Malcolm. You are Corbin Justice yes? I am Slade a...friend of Malcolm's.

Victor Slade: ~lemmings~ Calm and collected Slade is a handsome man in his very late 20s. He stands an even 6 feet and is well built weighing around 180 pounds. Dark hair and dark eyes convey a somewhat mysterious looking appearance to the man. He walks with confident stride and never hesitates to make eyecontact with any who he encounters.

Michelle (Rauko): *she glances when Victor speaks to Corbin, and offers the man a nod, quietly*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: It takes a moment of wandering before he spots Michelle. And people with her. He stalks that way spine stiffening, head raising a little.

Corbin Justice: "Yes, Slade, I remember Malcolm mentioning you." He smiles warmly, his tone respectful. "I'm pleased to meet you at last."

Victor Slade: You recieved a call from Aerin-rhya as well then? *he asks Corbin* They told me your skills lie in the area of computers and investigation..have you other skills?

Michelle (Rauko): *and then her eyes spot Bliss, she tilts her head, moving slightly as if to be nearer him, yet the somewhat nervious tugging keeps on going, in silence*

Caroline McGregor: *She's out wandering too, maybe just taking in a bit of fresh air.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He glides up to Michelle, just barely close enough that she could reach out and touch him. "Hey-hey, ghost," he sas fondly. Victor and Corbin each get faint nods.

Michelle (Rauko): *there is a faint smile to Bliss, though seems.... just out of not knowing what else to do, and she then looks off, to the fountain near by, staying relatively close to Bliss*

Corbin Justice: He nods back to Bliss, respectful but reserved. Slade: "I'm tenacious and persistent." He smiles. "And I learn quickly."

Victor Slade: *he glances towards Bliss from his seat beside the fountain. He regards the man for a long moment. This..is not one of the men he had been informed about. He stands slowly the case in his lap shifting to his left hand*

Victor Slade: Curious..*he cannot discern what Bliss is. He looks towards Corbin once more* Would you be so kind as to introduce this one and I? *spoken to Corbin referring to him introducing Bliss*

Corbin Justice: "Sure. Slade, this is Bliss." Then much quieter, carrying no further than their group. "Shadow's Blissful Silence." To Bliss: "This is Victor Slade, the one whom Malcolm mentioned."

Victor Slade: Ah, I have heard of you, your name carries quite far for a Fostern. Well met. *spoken to Bliss. His tone is even although it carries an air of formality to it.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "I've not met Malcolm...." He raises an eyebrow at Corbin with a faint smirk, then shrugs and offers Victor a hand. Long nails painted black, of course.

Corbin Justice: "Oh, that's right. Jameel mentioned him, said Malcolm was sending him over to talk to Aerin and us."

Michelle (Rauko): *she is staying in place in silence*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Ohhhhhhh...my reputation is a mixed blessing. It's mostly true, by what I've heard. Especially the part where I seduced a Catholic nun at fifteen." He gives Victor a demonic grin before continuing in his low, rumbling purr. "Pleased to meet you."

Caroline McGregor: *Voices, and she wanders that way,taking note of who's there as they come into view. She frowns a bit and then squares her shoulders, continuing onward.*

Victor Slade: *he takes note of the nails but he's not one to comment on such. Each to their own, as long as they stand tall in battle he cares not of their other habits. He shakes Bliss' hand briefly and then speaks the rest of his introduction.* They call me Vengeance of Steel, Fostern Galliard of the Silver Fangs. *certainly the succinct version*

Corbin Justice: He gives Bliss a strange look.

Michelle (Rauko): *she does peer faintly and quickly to Bliss, and back to the water, silently, her hands still tugging at her sleeves, non stop*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: His eyes sweep over Victor appraisingly, jaw tightening a little at the mention of his tribe. "Ah." He gives a theatric bow. "Shadow Lord Ragabash," he murmurs, barely audible.

Victor Slade: Now that we're all aquainted..there is business to discuss. The Alpha of this operation..I would hope will be along shortly.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "What?" He asks Corbin, blinking innocently.

Corbin Justice: Bliss: "I can never tell when you're joking," he sighs. "I suppose that's the point." He looks to Slade and nods.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "We're performing surgery?" He grins, all surprised delight. "Lovely! What kind?"

Corbin Justice: Grimly, "Unless it's a truly bad play on words..."

Shadow's Blissful Silence: Corbin's answer for a few seconds seems to puzzle him, bt then he smiles lazily. "Oh. That. Yes."

Caroline McGregor: *She gives Michelle a smile and a little wave. Though tonight it takes a bit more effort than usual.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Okay, okay...seriously, I'm out for a walk. Came this way 'cause I saw my ghost.... What's happening?"

Victor Slade: *he has absolutely no reaction to Bliss' words. It would seem as if he didn't even realize the man was joking* What do we know of...their systems of delivering this compound? I had understood that they could not deliver the toxin through the water..was that mistaken intelligence?

Michelle (Rauko): *Caro wave makes her peer, the girl does seem more odd then usual, hasn't stoped wrinding her hands, or tugging at her sleeves, quietly, she barely nods to Caro, peering ot Bliss for a little moment and back to the water*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He nods to Victor. "Right, right...you realise I have _no_ idea what you're talking about...?"

Corbin Justice: "That, I haven't heard. Aerin, probably has the most information. They seem to have no difficulty with it in a solid form, placed in something else, like candy."

Corbin Justice: He smiles and nods to Carrie.

Michelle (Rauko): *listening, she seems to start fidgeting a bit more, in silence*

Caroline McGregor: Everyone saw the news I take it? *She asks, noting Michelle's behavior but leaving her alone, figuring anything she does will only make it worse.*

Corbin Justice: Carrie: Soberly, "Yes. And I saw them being handed out in a mall food court, but I couldn't stop it in time."

Victor Slade: *he simply shakes his head at Bliss* Stand aside and listen then. *he looks back to Corbin* I've seen the video..it was my understanding that they had not perfected a way of introducing it into a nuetral solution.

Corbin Justice: "Not that we are aware of," he tells Victor. "But they might also have stepped up their...research. This might be why they've gotten so bold. Edge of a breakthrough?" ((I have to go everyone, I'm sorry I was here such a short time.))

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Oh...that. Right. It's all complicated and over my head. I think there are...um...computers and formulas and other delightfully complicated human things. I think Caroline understands them. Computers at least, if not chemicals. Yes, Caroline?" His tone changes from playful to dead neutral when he addresses Caroline.

Victor Slade: *he nods to Corbin* It would seem prudent to step up our own efforts as well then. (booo! haha, just kiddin, catch ya later Rave)

Michelle (Rauko): *she keeps frowning, seeming by moments more fidgety, groing tense on the tugging of her sleeves*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: His lips twitch at Victor's command and he stiffens quite visibly, spine straightening.

Michelle (Rauko): ((*ties Raven*((

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He reaches out to run a hand over Michelle's side, from a few inches below her shoulder into the curve of her waist. Just a single petting motion, and then he's not touching her anymore.

Caroline McGregor: *Her mouth tightens when Bliss says her name.* I know a bit about computers. *She says shortly.*

Michelle (Rauko): *it makes her perk, in a instintively flitching way, before she notices it was Bliss, those odd eyes looking his way, then off, she finally murmurs* itwasthewater

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "I get it. Wrym-tainted water is bad for kids. It makes them turn horrifically violent. I follow that." He shrugs, absolutely unconcerned. "It's really all I need to follow."

Michelle (Rauko): *there is a bigger frown for a moment and she is back onto staring at the water, her hands closing tightly and then jsut goign back onto tugging at her sleeves, bakc into silence*

Caroline McGregor: Corbin's right, I think. from the information we got form the computer records they were quite close to a breakthrough. Perhaps they've already discovered it and don't wish us to turn our attention back to AllChem.

Victor Slade: Your moon-sign holds great sway over you. I would hope that your flippant attitude does not manifest itself when the situation calls for a clear head and quick thinking. *speaking of a combat situation most likely. His tone is not condescending, he's simply making an observation, his words are not ment to be a verbal attack*

Victor Slade: (sorry that was so slow, my cable modem cut out. Great piece of technology for $50 a month)

Michelle (Rauko): ((they charge me 25 *S*))

Shadow's Blissful Silence: [Don't wrry, my connection died for a minute there too. Or rather, flashed in and out so that loading pages was impossible.]

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: And finally, the man makes his way into the pond area, staff tapping on the ground as he walks along. Tense as always when in the Park, he's in the trench business casual look...the dress shirt crimson, the slacks black. He looks up, noting the group, and makes to approach, smiling in Bliss's and Michelle's way particularly, nods to the others.

Victor Slade: (laugh it up Elsa, at least I have TV =P)

Victor Slade: Ah, Aerin-rhya. Well met. *he nods to the man respectfully when the Child of Gaia approaches.*

Michelle (Rauko): ((*swats* =P you are meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaan))

Michelle (Rauko): *a littel peer to Aerin, she Is growing tense again it seems, but she is back quickly onto staring at the water*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Are you always so judgemental?" He takes a slow breath and smiles sweetly at Victor. "Because there are times snap judgements are quite appropriate, be very careful of what people you judge so quickly. Friendly advice from someone genetically predisposed toward stabbing people in the back as a valid way of voting for the other canidate...." There is something less playful under the tone, not quite threatening, more annoyed.

Victor Slade: I am. *he states flatly.* It is in my nature.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Victor. Bliss...Michelle...Caroline." He smiles all around and comes to a stop next to Bliss, looking over at the Lord with a faint smile. "Making friends as always, I hear?" A calm, almost-but-not-quite teasing tone in his voice. Michelle gets a reach over, and a brief touch to her shoulder.

Caroline McGregor: *And he's on THEIR side..still...she'd do well to remember not to turn her back on him. She greets Aerin with a nod when he arrives, waiting for him to tell them his plans.*

Michelle (Rauko): *she seemso to start just closing and opening her hands repreatdely, flitching again at the touch, peering, seeing Aerin that close seems to make her.... relax? a little, she tries a faint little smile, and stars to the water again*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Ah. It's a condition that ends lives tragically short. You might want to see someone about it." He flashes Victor a pretty smile, one that doesn't reach suddenly empty eyes. At the sound of Aerin's voice though, they're warm again, even before he turns. "These people, they don't worship me. It's tragedy. Like that outfit." He waves at the offending outfit. "Peach is so not her color." He grins. "How are you?"

Michelle (Rauko): ((peach *blinks*))

Victor Slade: *he seems uneffected by Bliss' words and he doesn't make any response to the man. He turns his full attention to Aerin* What is your plan of action Aerin-rhya? If you wish I will lead some of us to inspect the fountain directly or..if you have something else in mind. I am at your disposal.

Lily Douglas: The hunter green sweater she wears is very well worn, though not as much as the other one she had had on the day she appeared here in the park, but no hole in the elbow, though the edges around the cuffs are already frayed. Her pants have about the same kind of well-worn appearance with several small holes in them and they do look dirty in spots. Her shoulder-length light brunette hair though is very neatly combed and feathered back away from her face. Her blue eyes display a playfulness to them. And over her shoulder is a satchel with some sewn patches on them from a few national parks and other places of interest. The boots she wears are a bit muddied in places, making it difficult to tell their true color. As she walks along, she is eating a hotdog.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Mmm...how horrible." He grins a bit to Bliss and shrugs. "I'm here. We've got business to cover, right?" He runs a hand over Bliss's hair, smoothing it with a petting motion, and looks over to Victor. "My plan is simple. Go on as we did before. Only with a more urgent timetable. And the added fun of trying to find at least some of these tainted kids and undo the damage we've let hit them."

Lily Douglas: She hears voices and moves toward them, one hotdog down, another one quickly disappearing.

Victor Slade: You wish to hit the delivery truck then yes? We will need to dig into their records and find their schedule.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "I can hunt them...?" Released from talk of chemicals, and soothed enoughby Aerin's presence not to play bait-the-Silver Fang any longer, he's much calmer. "Or...there's that lopsided-colored-eyed one who likes kids. She might be able to help. Or Stephen. Stephen likes kids."

Lily Douglas: Definitely interesting conversation and she listens.

Michelle (Rauko): *she blinks and then slightly and fleeting, touches Aerin, tugging faintly for a second, peering then quickly for a second to Lily and bak off*

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He shakes his head. "Yeah, the truck. It's our best bet to find out where the lab is...and it's our opportunity to lay our trap, too. And you're right, we do need to get the schedule. I'd like to hit them at the lab, if possible...we can possibly do more monkeywrenching there."

Caroline McGregor: *She frowns a bit, to cover the hurt that little barb flung her way.* I've been trying to get their delivery schedules. I'm only now starting to get some luck.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He pauses at Michelle's touch and looks over to Lily, eyes calmly appraising her for a long, long moment. Assessing her. Finally, he smiles politely, if guardedly, to her and nods. "Hello."

Michelle (Rauko): *and is back onto silently staring at the water*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He meets Aerin's eyes, glances at Lily, and then watches Aerin more than Lily.

Victor Slade: We will move when everything is in place then. *he lifts up the case in his left hand* This..is capable of disabling almost any type of vehicle..once we're in the path of the truck stopping it will be no problem. What of...the one who manufactures the phasidol? Do we have the resources to take the truck and this man at the same time? *spoken quietly as he moves closer to Aerin* Is this place safe to speak? *he asks the Adren*

Shadow's Blissful Silence -> Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: In the event you weren't clear on it...he's waiting for orders.

Lily Douglas: She's slowly chewing on the last bite of the hotdog and she nods, not speaking while eating. Then a bigger smile as she realizes who is speaking to her. "Hello Aerin. I remember you the night Gavin introduced us."

Shadow's Blissful Silence: His eyes flick to Lily at the mention of Gavin and he studies her a moment.

Lily Douglas: Said of course after she swallowed her food.

Michelle (Rauko): *there is another peer to Lily and she is back off staring*

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He blinks and nods, remembering suddenly. "Oh, yes...Lily. Hello." He looks over at Bliss and smiles a little to him, then back to her. "Nice to meet you again."

Lily Douglas: She smiles more to Aerin seeing that he remembers her. "A pleasure."

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He smiles to her, considering the woman for a moment...Gavin had called her a very special guest. Hmmm. He takes a deep breath, watching her for just a moment.

Michelle (Rauko): ((Erg.s *=( unfortunatedly I need to get going, hadn't noticd the time))

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He closed the distance between himself and Aerin, leaning against him with no more thought than if he were leaning into a lamppost. "Do I somehow not merit intoductions anymore?"

Victor Slade: *he raises an eyebrow as his questions go unanswered*

Caroline McGregor: *She hasn't said much, remained largely neutral the entire conversation, because the cat got her tongue.*

Lily Douglas: She frowns slightly and looks to Bliss. "I'm very sorry. I'm Lily Douglas."

Shadow's Blissful Silence: Lily gets a brilliant smile. "I'm Bliss, and this is Caroline, and my ghost, and Victor. You know Aerin already...." He smiles. "It's lovely to meet you."

Michelle (Rauko): ((ergs... Michelle is gonna stay really still in place till Aerin and Bliss go, then just mutedly go alongwith them *needs bed*))

Caroline McGregor: Hello Lily, I think we did meet briefly a few weeks ago. *She says with a friendly smile.*

Lily Douglas: "Nice meeting you Bliss," then smiles to the rest, saying their names as she does in turn as they are introduced.

Michelle (Rauko): *she will nod to Lily, a ghost of a gesture and quicly stare off.. like if she had gone lost in her own thoughts, not moving till Aerin tugs her to go* ((night guys! ))

Victor Slade: (G'night)

Lily Douglas: "I'm not sure if we'd actually been introduced or not, but I recognize you, Caroline."

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He blinks a little bit, as if surprised by something, and looks at Lily with an odd sort of smile. "Apologies, guys. I...spacey. You know me."

Caroline McGregor: *She nods.* I think it was very busy around here that night.

Corbin Justice: He frowns slightly at something, a glance to Bliss. He turns his attention to Lily, a warm smile and a nod of greeting. "Corbin Justice."

Lily Douglas: "It was very busy," her fingers start to play with the worn edges of her sweater.

Lily Douglas: "Hello, Corbin. I'm Lily if you didn't already catch."

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He looks back to Victor finally, nodding to him. "This is safe enough to speak, Victor, yes. And I think we do have the resources to do both. Which is why I want to catch the truck at AllChem."

Victor Slade: *he stands stoicly. If he's displeased at the aimless nature of the conversation his expression doesn't show it. He simply waits for Aerin's mind to refocus.*

Victor Slade: *he nods* Myself and one other are enough to take down the truck. I am certain of that. What of this other man? Has any information been gathered on him? *perhaps trying to determine what their time table for moving forward is*

Corbin Justice: He looks between Aerin and Victor, though trying not to look too much at Aerin and Bliss. He shifts his stance a little restlessly.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Mmmmm..and would that be the truck, or the truck and whatever is in it, and whatever may be guarding it all Alice-style?"

Lily Douglas: She watches Victor closely now.

Caroline McGregor: I'm still digging for any information on him that might be useful to us. I don't know what Corbin and Aerin have done.

Corbin Justice: "I haven't found anything relevant."

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Nothing so far," he says with a frown. "Hard man to find anything out on. The information has to be there, though."

Corbin Justice: Aerin: "Yeah, it's weird though. I'm just not *finding* anything."

Victor Slade: Based on what I'm told you've uncovered already..I would say that there is little information out there that could elude you. *he nods and then glances around once more* I will take my leave..I will do some investigating of my own and get back to you with what I uncover. *he looks back to Aerin once more* Good night Aerin-rhya, may your inner light see you through these darkest of days.

Lily Douglas: She gets an amused grin as she still watches Victor.

Corbin Justice: "Good night, Slade," he says, inclining his head to him respectfully.

Caroline McGregor: *She nods at Aerin.* I'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts the information is there, we just haven't dusted it off yet..and if it's THIS hard to find..it's probalby pretty juicy. Corbin, do you want to get together and maybe put our heads together? See what we can come up with?

Victor Slade: *he looks towards Lily, his face expressionless* You are a friend of Gavin's? *he asks her quietly as he pauses in his departure*

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Goddess's Grace, Victor." He nods to the man. "Be well." He looks over to Caroline and nods a bit. "I wouldn't doubt it. Just gotta keep looking." He leans a little into Bliss, his hand moving back up to smooth the Lord's hair a little more.

Corbin Justice: Carrie: He looks happy and, possibly, relieved at the suggestion. Apparently, HE wasn't going to venture the idea forth. "Yes, that sounds great. Let's plan on doing that. You have my cell number?"

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He snickers and glances up at Aerin. "I think he's reffering to me." A playful little huff. "As if I were some kind of plague. That or about to turn you to the dark side...." He's just playing mostly, not getting a goodbye so pointedly did ruffle him a little.

Lily Douglas: She grins a bit more with the question. "No doubt."

Caroline McGregor: *She nods.* Yes I do, and you have mine, right? Did I give you my office number too? *if not she writes that down and gives it to him.*

Victor Slade: *he simply nods to Lily and then makes his way out. *

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He stays there, listening quietly as Corbin and Caroline talk. A look over to Lily and a smile.

Caroline McGregor: *She looks over at Aerin.* We might need to do some more h acking in order to get their delivery records. I'm also checking to see what other companies use Phasidol. I have a feeling it's not isolated to AllChem.

Corbin Justice: He kinda turns to the side so Aerin and Bliss aren't really in his line of vision at all.

Corbin Justice: He nods. "Yeah. I think I've got all but your office number." Taking that. "I'll call you tomorrow, see what we come up with." ((I'll be on tomorrow and Friday *S*))

Lily Douglas: Victor certainly does amuse this one, she almost starts to giggle after he leaves, but refrains herself.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Hacking, I can do." He digs his phone out of his pocket as it beeps, reading the text. A slight frown, tensing a bit more, but he punches a message back before sending and slipping it away.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3] -> phone: TXT: 10-4. Have fun...call if you need. Love you.

Shadow's Blissful Silence -> Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He peeks at the phone, he's certainly got the angle for it....

Caroline McGregor: *a quick nod to Aerin.* If we get together the way we did before, perhaps we can get in and out before we get discovered. But we should have back up...just in case. *remembering the close call with Magadon which makes her shudder.*

Lily Douglas: Head tilts, thoughts of Victor gone as the thing Aerin pulls out of his pocket makes noises and he punches something into it. But more than that, she notes his tenseness and that makes her frown slightly too.

Corbin Justice: Heads on off. ((Night again!))

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Yeah." He nods a bit. "It shouldn't be as bad as before...AllChem's a lot smaller then Magadon. We shouldn't have a problem with it."

Lily Douglas: ((Good night!))

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "I'm certainly around for whatever, though I'm no help with the computers. When you get to the part where you need me, though...."

Caroline McGregor: I hope not. *she says with an emphatic shake of her head.* I need to get going back. I'll update you on whatever we find. *She waves goodbye to Corbin as he heads off and then heads out herself.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Goodnight, Corbin. Goodnight, Caroline." There is something just a little agitated under the cheery tone.

Caroline McGregor: *She just acknowledges Bliss's goodbye with a nod. Keeping communication to a minimum, it's probalby best that way.*

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Night, Corbin...Caroline." He nods to the two of them, sighing a little bit, before he looks back to Bliss with a smile. He's trying, and that's what counts.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Be well," he says to Carrie at the nod, with none of the hostility in that nice perky candy coating this time.

Lily Douglas: She seems to smile about something else that she observes. Perhaps even amused it.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Well, that went...well, actually." Amazingly, he seems to mean it. He pets Bliss's hair once more, down to his mid-back, and looks over to Lily with a smile. "How have you been?"

Lily Douglas: "I have been doing well. It doesn't sound like that's the case with the others."

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Well?" He hisses. "They're incapable of basic courtesy. You greet people and you say goodbye. In between...there's some flexibility, but coming and going you acknowledge people's presence. The one who prides himself on his judgement missed practically every point I made, because he sees only what skims the surface of anything, and Carrie displayed better manners. Carrie." He chuckles. "And I think I freaked Corbin out. But that's something else altogether."

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Bliss..." He looks over at the Lord with a sigh. "Don't worry about freaking Corbin out. I hear that's easy to do. You and Carrie were about as well-behaved around each other as I hoped for...and of course Slade was that way. Look at him, for Christ's sake. It's not like we're getting him for his diplomatic skills."

Lily Douglas: She nods to Bliss but doesn't add into the conversation the two are having.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Aern't there any tolerable people in this fucking city? It's not ours. We're here as bridges. Where is their force, their strength, their dedication? Some show of intellegence from anyone but Carrie? C'mon...when I'm willing to openly admit that I'm more impressed by the woman who betrayed my brother than anyone else present...." He is still hissing more than purring, absolutely furious.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "You're not included in that count there, lovely," he says to Lily. "You've not had time enough to prove uyourself a disappointment." It's almost apologetic.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "It's here, Bliss. I promise." He smiles faintly, shrugging a bit. "Just that they mostly hate me, so we don't hang with them much."

Lily Douglas: She smiles to him. "I know. You needn't apologize for your astute observations," and she is being very geniune in how she says that. Lily considers her words carefully. "The problem is that they see only what they want to see. Not what is in front of them."

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He nods a little to Lily's words. "Wisely said."

Lily Douglas: She smiles to Aerin. "Most people don't see me. Or don't want to. But I see...." though she might be speaking a little metaphorically too. Hard to tell.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: Lily's words calm him a little and he relaxes a bit into Aerin to listen to them talk.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Yeah..." He grins just a bit. "I imagine you do see, Lily. And there are those that do see. And don't mind...quite the opposite."

Lily Douglas: She nods and smiles back. "Of course."

Shadow's Blissful Silence: [And sadly, I have to run off. :( ]

Lily Douglas: ((That's okay...it's getting late.))

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He pushes up off of Aerin. "I'm picking up a few things, I'll see you at home." He smiles and nods to Lily. "Pleasure to meet you, lovely. Be well."

Lily Douglas: "Anyway, Bliss, keep doing what you do. What does it really matter to them that don't see?"

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He looks at Bliss and smiles to him. "All right. I'll be there fairly soon, I imagine. See you then."

Lily Douglas: "It was very nice meeting you too."

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He looks after Bliss with a small grin, then back to Lily. "I must admit, Lily...I didn't think I'd ever meet someone of your...nature." He smiles to her. "It's a pleasant surprise."

Lily Douglas: "So you know too then....I'm not sure how most of them would react either. Probably just apathetic. It's sad. It's nice seeing someone actually interested," her smile widening.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He gives a little sigh, leaning on his staff. "Yeah. It is kind of sad. I think, probably, you're right about how they'd react. It's a bit of a sad statement, how we've treated others."

Lily Douglas: "Sadder how they don't want to learn from the past. The future is always still waiting to be written. It's never too late to change it." she pauses, looking around them before continuing, playing with the frays again. "At least you seem to have the wisdom to see that you'll do your best to lead the others against the enemy. Victor however, is an idiot."

phone -> Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: *and once more, must not have been out for long, he gets another txt from her* heading home, no worries, tlk l8tr 'K'

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He grins just a little bit, and nods. "Yeah, well, that's one thing about my people. Idiots aren't hard to find. They have their uses, though, and excel when put to those uses. With any luck, so will he." He smirks. "Not that I rely on luck over much."

Lily Douglas: "I find ..." she drops her voices, "humans....interesting. You could say I study their behavior for fun. And idiots are a dime a dozen. It is the wise ones who know how to make the best of their situation....."

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Humans are incredible creatures," he murmurs as he puts the phone back. "And I wouldn't disagree with your assessment there."

Lily Douglas: "Most of what I heard tonight sounded like human thinking. Instead of being what Gaia made them to be. Need to look outside the box too."

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: *Kristina moves into the turtle pond area carrying a small container her hair pulled back and her pretty green eyes looking around the area*

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He nods. "It's...hard, for some of us." Himself included, though he's not so willing to admit or realize it. "But we should always try, yes."

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: *Kristina moves slowly towards the water knealing down next to it and filling the container whispering quiet words to the water as she fills it*

Lily Douglas: "I am born of the wild, you could say. Different eyes," she says quietly, nodding to Aerin.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Fair enough," he says with a nod, as his eyes travel over to land on Kristina. He watches her quietly for a moment.

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: *She touches the water gently as she closes up the container and whispers a quiet 'thank you' as she moves to stand up and turns her eyes falling on Aerin and Lily giveing each a quiet nod*

Lily Douglas: Her head follows where he looks, and she sniffs a little, recognizing the scent. "Oh, I think that's Kristina."

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "That it is," he says to Lily as he gives a returning nod to Kristina, still leaning on that staff.

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: *She slowly moves closer standing a bit away from* "Goodevening Rhya" *she says her eyes slightly lowered towards Aerin* "Goodevening to you as well Lily"

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "Good evening, Kristina." He smiles politely to her. "How are you?"

Lily Douglas: "Hello, Kristina. I am sorry I missed going with you to the shelter that night. But Gavin was kind enough to give me money and phone for a cab so that I could stay at one."

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: "I am doing allright gathering water for the saporling to help it grow" *She says with a slight smile*

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: *She nods to Lily* "It is quite allright" *she says with a smile to her* "But remeber if you ever need it I am certain Selena would not turn you away"

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He nods, the gesture echoing Kristina's sentiment. "I'm fairly certain of that, too." He regards Kristina with a bit of a smile. "That's good. It's a job I imagine Mera enjoys doing. She loves to encourage growth in her home."

Lily Douglas: "No, I heard Gavin speak to her. And I am welcome there. I like being outside better. I should try and speak to Gavin soon to see if I can stay here by the water."

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: "I enjoy it a great deal as well Rhya" *she says with a smile*

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "That's good," he says with a nod. "Too many people forget, Kristina, that we're not just destroyers. We're nuturers, too."

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: "That is what Gaia wishes of us Rhya" *she says softly* "It is a lesson I have learned from Bright Eyes, that we should seek to men the wounds after the blight is cut free instead of just hunting and leaveing the wounds to fester and allow the wrym another place to nest"

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: ((men=mend))

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: Lily gets a slightly belated smile at her mention of staying by the water, and he looks back to Kristina. "Bright Eyes sounds like a wise person. That's an important lesson that too few learn."

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: "Selena is very wise, and very kind of heart I wish to be more like her" *she says softly* "And when I truley become the master of my rage I shall"

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He blinks,and nods, flushing just a bit. He should have remembered that. "Yes...yes, she is wise. You're still learning, Kristina...but you know that. Which is half the challenge of learning." He nods to her. "And you have a good teacher."

Lily Douglas: Lily listens quietly, doing what she does best, and listening and becoming part of the background.

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: "I have a wonderful teacher Rhya" *she says with a smile* "And learning is a challenge Rhya, a very hard one, I have found its way to easy to fall into hateing and then fool yourself that you dont hate something" *she says giveing a bit of a flushed look to Lily*

Lily Douglas: Lily just smiles back to Kristina, staying quiet.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He grins a little bit, nodding. "It is too easy. Hating something is sometimes the easiest thing to do, and not doing it can be the hardest. But if you keep trying, you'll pull it off, I think." He looks between Kristina and Lily. "I should go...if I don't, Bliss will be in quite the tizzy by the time I get home. I'll see you guys later. Great talking with you both."

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: *She nods to Aerin* "Goodevening Rhya, it was a pleasure speaking with you"

Lily Douglas: "Good night Aerin. Give Bliss my best.....and blame me for keeping you out so late."

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: *She turns and looks at Lily* "And thank you as well I never actually thanked you for challengeing my views and pointing out my flaws" *She says softly*

Lily Douglas: She looks a little surprised when Kristina says that. "You're welcome."

Kristina Jaccobs [PB 1]: *She blushes a bit*

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: "I will, Lily." He nods to the two of them, smiling a bit...Kristina's humility in thanking Lily is not unnoticed...and he makes his way out. ((Thanks for the scene, guys!))
