Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: *Kelsey and Aerin had been talking and the man fell asleep. She'd watched him briefly then during a calm moment carried him to his bedroom. She'd intended to leave him on the bed to sleep but the way he curled into her while he whimpered in his sleep...she just couldn't leave him like that. So she crawled onto the bed, still holding him and just sat there, silently trying to be a comfort to him, hoping to ease his sleep even a little.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: Several moments later up pads the jealousy demon...errrr...Bliss. He looks over Kelsey and Aerin without a word, leaning on the doorframe.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: ((Awww, man. Aerin hasn't broken the Litany in months, too... *Winks*)) He's passed out, doing that shifting, whimpering thing. Unintelligble murmurings, little more.

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: *She looks up at Bliss when he appears in the doorway, with a soft sigh. She keeps her voice soft hoping not to wake the man.* He spent the night in jail because some asswad flipped out and he was called to help and the cops showed up before they could leave. We were talking and he passed out he was so tired. I was just going to put him to bed but...he curled into me. I...couldn't just leave him like that. He needed someone.

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: ((*snickers* Kelsey has enough trouble with Andy as it is!!!!!))

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He flinches a little when he hears Aerin whimper. He walks to the bed slowly, all restrained energy. He moves to the side Kelsey isn't on. His eyes are on Kelsey, save for when he's distracted by Aerin moving or whimpering. They aren't quite friendly eyes right now, he's too guarded for that, but he's not hostile.

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: *While she talks, she gently strokes Aerin's hair, trying to sooth him as best she can.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He nods at her explanation and crawls onto the bed as well. He pets Aerin's hair, very careful not to touch Kelsey. He still won't speak, just stares at her over Aerin.

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: *She frowns a little watching Bliss for a moment.* I'm not going to bite and I'm not going to try to take him from you. You guys wanted me to be in your pack. I just...wanted to help him.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: When Bliss takes the other side of Aerin and touches him, he instinctly flinches, as if recognizing people on both sides of him, but translating it into whatever dream he's having. He murmurs a pleaded, half-slurred apology.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "You should have seen the hell I put Dante through," he says softly. "And it would be more accurate to say that he wanted you, and he is to be our alpha." There's nothing bitter there. "I don't know you well enough to want you. I simply trust him."

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He flinches back with a sharp whine, a far more expected sound from a wolf. "Shhhhhhhh...it's me. It's me. You're alright."

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: *She gets a slightly pained look at Aerin's pleading apology, then sighs at Bliss's whine. 18 and she's already playing mother hen. She shifts Aerin carefully so she can offer an arm to Bliss, leaning into which would also bring him closer to Aerin.*

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He relaxes just a touch, and settles into a more subdued murmuring. Something about, or addressed, to a Malcolm.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3] -> Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: ((This one...not Malcolm's fault. *G* But yeah.))

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He studies Kelsey a moment and then very carefully moves closer. The look he gives her in the last few seconds where contact is inevitable is the kind of look you'd expect from an animal caught in a trap.

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: *She lets him make the contact, slow but sure, then squeezes him ever so gently, then just rests her arm around the man. It'd be easy for him to pull free from it, but it's there for comfort and soothing should he want it.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He settles gently against Aerin, biting his lip at the thought of that causing more whimpering.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: A slight tensing at the contact and a shiver, but no whimper. He settles back against Bliss a bit, leaning against him with a drowsy comment in Romani.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: When Aerin seems okay this time, he slides his head under Aerin's chin, calming a little.

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: *She just holds both men quietly, stroking their hair.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "I'm used to a quite different experience with the Fenrir...." He finally says to Kelsey, voice very soft so as not to disturn Aerin.

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: Most people are. *She smirks a little.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Were you raised among your people?"

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He moans a little bit, and half heartedly reaches outward at air.

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: *She frowns and shakes her head.* No. My mother kept me away from it. She tried to hide it from me entirely. My first shift...I knew absolutely nothing of what I was. And I killed five people because of what I didn't know. *Her voice is a touch bitter, even this soft it's hard not to hear it.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: He reaches up to take Aerin's upraised hand gently, moving to that he can speak into Aerin's ear. "It's alright. Everything's alright. We're right here. Nothing will hurt you while we're here."

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Such treatment of our children baffles me." He sighs, curling around Aerin. "It's no manner of kindness."

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: The words that come out sound in response to Bliss' murmur sound basically like "Mdroo" and "Widen," followed by apologies.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Shhhhhh...shhhhhh...no one is upset with you. It's alright. Shhhhhh...."

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: *She snorts softly.* She wanted to protect me from my father's world. Guess she forgot about genetics. *She closes her eyes for a moment, bad time of month to be talking about her mother while trying to comfort someone. She bites her lip, trying to force herself to calm down*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "It is generally a choice made for love. It simply is not so much a kindness as they think at first. Better to prepare a child for the world, so they will be strong enough to change it and understand what it must become."

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: If that's what she calls love, I want none of her kind of love.

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "She likely meant to spare you something she suffered. It simply failed. It is no less an act of love for its failure."

Shadow's Blissful Silence: [And...in the pretty near future I have to run off to a party....]

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: *She looks away. Typical teenager, refusing to accept something.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "Mmmmmmmmmm...." He slides his head back under Aerin's chin with a contented sigh.

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: ((Kay...I pretty much established that Kel was going to stay with him until she started dozing herself. Then when Aerin wakes up, she heads off to find Andy, even being near dead on her feet. BTW left in the bathroom hanging to dry were some of her clothes, too. Mostly dry but still a bit damp.))

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: *She looks back at that and her face softens a bit and she just watches the two men.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: [Bliss will stay with Aerin until he wakes. Though he'll likely be asleep before then. Aerin's not the only one who didn't sleep.]

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "What?" He asks Kelsey, sounding puzzled.

Aerin Thomas [PB 3]: He makes a slightly more content sound then he had been, and shifts to curl into Bliss a little bit.

Kelsey Horn (PB3) Yesterday: ((*L* Kelsey was stuck outside...and got soaked.)) Just...watching you...thinking about Andy. *She smiles softly.*

Shadow's Blissful Silence: "What do we have to do with that?" He seems puzzled.
