Seth Almon: Perfect. So, a little after closing, he takes the subway down to the the Canal Street stop, and then walks his way to her building. He's dressed in a collarless white dress shirt and jeans, a small ankh around his neck and single hoop in his left ear--usual work clothes for him. He comes up to the apartment building, buzzing the intercom for her place.

Stacia Flores: It's a brick building, 3-story building (in Greenwich, can say she moved there recently), her apartment on the top floor. She buzzes him, the stairs leading upstair will take him to her place which is practically at the top of the stairs.

The apartment (a loft) is very simply furnished, with a futon couch that serves as her bed at night, and a couple director type chairs (blue and red), with one that has her name on the back of it (Stacia, not Sara), with director under it. Along the walls, there are various black and white (mostly) photos of Pittsburgh plus some of New York City now too, framed and behind glass in various sizes and such. One picture in particular is different from the rest (crafted picture frame, 5 sided, with a matted picture in it. May not be able to tell she made it (but she did all of it with her own hands) but it is a night picture of the city of Pittsburgh, probably taken from up on Mongahelia Incline (the thing from Flashdance she rides if you are at all familiar with the movie and or the city). This is a link to a picture that it would be similiar to: http://www.spdconline.org/history/images/PGHNight.JPG ) . It is set off by itself (and in color). The floor is all wood and pretty much everything is accessible from the main living area, with the exception of the bathroom, which is a door that is closed and down a little bit away from everything else. There is an altar set off in the corner, a simple one, with the basic elements represented on it, and a white candle burning on it, plus the smell of sandalwood incense as a stick burns on the table.

She is dressed in a white tank top, grey sweat shorts, and gray socks, wearing a pentagram on a black cord around her neck.

Stacia Flores: ((Actually, let's say there are two three doors total...one for a little closet by the door in the little hallway for coats and such. And another one next to where the bathroom (a walkin for her clothes) ))

Stacia Flores: ((3...ugh, I can't type))

Seth Almon: ((Cool.)) He makes his way up the stairs with a quick hop, taking them a couple at a time, and moves to the door. He gives a quick, brisk knock on the door, smiling a little as he puts one hand behind his back, obscuring something held within.

Stacia Flores: She looks through the peephole, and then he can hear the chains being undone on the door before the click of the lock. She steps back from the door, grinning as she sees Seth. "Heeeey......you found it. Welcome to my little place."

Seth Almon: "Hey...thank you indeed." He grins and gives a slight bow, stepping inside and bringing his hand around. There's a basket held there, with a few herbs and incenses...scents he's learned she likes, or ones for good health and spirituality. Bath salts and so on...and a bottle of rose wine in the center, along with a hand-woven dreamcatcher. "I'm told it's customary to provide a housewarming gift. In this case, it's my pleasure to follow the custom."

Stacia Flores: She starts to blush, seeing the gift and what is inside after taking it and starting to look through it carefully. "I never got you one...." she says while still looking through and oohing and ahhing at what he has gotten her. "You make the dreamcatcher?"

Seth Almon: "I did." He smiles, shrugging a little. "Here and there on my free time. I hope you like it."

Stacia Flores: "I love it. It's a wonderful gift. Thank you, Seth," she sets it down on the countertop, coming back to hug him tightly. "You're so thoughtful."

Seth Almon: He returns the hug, kissing her jaw lightly as he does. "You're very welcome." He holds the hug for a few moments, then pulls just a bit back. "So. Tell me how you are while you give me the tour."

Stacia Flores: She laughs a little, giving him a quick kiss on his lips. "It'll be quite a quick tour. Kitchen," she points, "Living room, and my bedroom," with a motion at the couch/futon, "bathroom in the first door on the left. Closet on the other side." She squeezes his hand as she quickly pulls him along through the place. "I've been doing well. You?"

Seth Almon: He smiles and follows along, looking around. "I see. As to how I am..." He sighs, and frowns a little. "Worried, to be honest. Remember the kid I mentioned a few weeks ago?"

Stacia Flores: "Oh yes....." she frowns a bit. "He hasn't shown up?"

Seth Almon: "No." He shakes his head. "I'm beginning to think something may be very wrong there."

Stacia Flores: "I'm sorry.....I said I'd try and help you if I could.....just not sure how I could. It's a big city."

Seth Almon: "I know." He smiles a little, gratefully. "I just...don't really know where to begin. Street kids are notoriously difficult to find, after all. They disappear off the streets every day."

Stacia Flores: She hugs him again. "I know. And you don't know where it was he used to hang out around?"

Seth Almon: "Vaguely." He gives a frustrated roll of his shoulders. "There's a fair amount of squatter areas. I was thinking of asking around, seeing what I can find out. If you'd like to come with, I certainly wouldn't argue."

Stacia Flores: "yes...and maybe if I try, I can listen to their thoughts for something they might not openly admit to. I know I shouldn't but street people are usually pretty skittish around people who don't fit in with them. Don't blame them though....it's the way of the street."

Seth Almon: He looks over at her, lips pursing. "I...well, if you're comfortable with it, Sarah. I don't want...I mean, some of the people on the street aren't the nicest of folk. I'm just saying...it could be a bit rough for you. But if you're willing to try that, I would appreciate it."

Stacia Flores: "It'd be better than making them like me and start hitting on me," she makes a face at that though, shaking her head. "'sides, I have spent some time on the streets trying to get to know what it's like for when I do my documentaries and movies...I found out alreayd the hard way about bad people after my sister was murdered."

Seth Almon: He nods a little. "All right, then. It's a date. A very...non-standard, not all that romantic sort of date, but..." A warm, appreciative smile is sent her way. "Thank you. Really."

Stacia Flores: She laughs softly at his description of the non-standard date. "Think nothing of it, sweetheart. You've done a lot for me." She gives him a gentle hug. "Can I get you something to drink? And maybe I should chill the wine? For later?"

Seth Almon: He leans into the hug a little and smiles before giving her a gentle kiss. "Sure...some tea would be nice. Thank you. And yes, maybe chilling the wine would be good."

Stacia Flores: She kisses him back, teasing his lip for a brief moment with her tongue ring. Letting go of him, she heads toward the kitchen, carefully taking the bottle from the basket and putting into the fridge before getting some water on to boil on the stove. "Herbal, or caffeinated?"

Seth Almon: "Herbal, please." He follows along to the edge of the kitchen. "Anything I can do to help?"

Stacia Flores: "Ummmmm......if you want to get mugs out they are in that cabinet," she points for him. She in the meantime gets out things for the tea, showing him several of the herbal teas she has.

Seth Almon: He moves and gets the mugs, bringing them down, then picks through the teas. "Hmmm...the mint, I think."

Stacia Flores: "Good choice." she lets him take his and puts them back. She gets a beer from the fridge for herself. "Don't mind do you? Or would like one?" she blushes a little.

Seth Almon: "I don't mind at all. And maybe later...for now, the tea'll do." He takes a lean against the counter, looking over to watch her for a moment. "So how have things been progressing with your talents? Any interesting occasions with them?"

Stacia Flores: "Since the run in with that wierdo at the shop? No....I haven't tried. Just afraid to practice much still.....until I have learned more control. And I'm afraid maybe I'll especially get the wrong person interested in me suddenly." she turns a little as she getes a bottle cap opener to open her beer. By the time she gets it, the kettle starts to whistle so she sets it down and pulls it off the stove, turning the heat off the burner.

Seth Almon: "I can get it," he offers when she pulls the tea off. "You relax. You did the hard part of the grueling tea-making process." He grins a little bit, and then moves to get the kettle and pour the tea. "If you like...you know you can always practice on me."

Stacia Flores: "I know....just...." she blushes getting all nervous. She steps from the kitchen, sipping on the beer.

Seth Almon: He smiles a bit, looking down to finish with the tea. He sets the kettle on an unheated burner, and then moves to follow her. "I have nothing to hide, Sarah. You will not find that there is anything I am afraid of showing."

Stacia Flores: "Well....if you're sure...." she sits down on the futon, with enough room for him. There's a small little table on either side; the one she chooses to sit on has a clock and lamp on it, with a small photo of her and her sister together at the Statue of Liberty.

Seth Almon: "I am." He smiles and moves to take a seat next to her, cupping the bottom of the mug with a hand and blowing lightly over the surface. "I want you to become comfortable with your skills. And I'm more then happy to be your test subject."

Stacia Flores: "Alright," she smiles to him, watching him closely. ((Stacia Flores: d10: tele: 2,3,7,9,10,4,))

Seth Almon: He smiles and sits there, watching her calmly. When she makes contact with his mind, she finds it, perhaps not surprisingly, a fairly relaxed "place." Sort of like his shop, in a way. There's a string of thoughts passing through...definitely unfiltered. He's not trying to hide anything. He's curious to see how deep she'll delve, but confident in the thoughts that she will perform well, and that she'll not do anything harmful, peruposeful or otherwise. She senses that he is a touch more worried then he realizes over the street kid. And he's very quickly falling hard for her, as well. He has several minor thoughts going through...they're harder to grasp. Something about C.R., with some worry there. Some mundane thoughts...he's very well able to multitask his own thoughts.

Stacia Flores: She gives him a concerned look when sensing the concern he has over the street kid. "I'm sorry.....I didn't realize....."

Seth Almon: "Didn't realize...?" He tilts his head to the right slightly, curious.

Stacia Flores: "About the kid.....that you're more concerned that you're letting on....."

Seth Almon: "Oh." He smiles mutedly and shrugs. "I...he's a student. I care a lot about all of my students...some of them more then others, obviously..." The smile becomes a bit more of a grin directed her way, brief as the gesture is. "...but yes, I'm still worried."

Stacia Flores: She blushes a bit again when he compliments her that way. "I um.....well...kinda got that too...." she looks down for a moment. "But I understand. Can I try again?"

Seth Almon: "Of course." He nods. "Try as much as you like, Sarah. It's safe."

Stacia Flores: "When we're done, you can talk to me more about the kid...." she concentrates again, looking up into his face, and his eyes. ((Stacia Flores: d10: tele: 5,6,8,4,9,9,))

Seth Almon: ((Is she looking for anything specific, or just doing another general scan?))

Stacia Flores: ((Looking for stuff on CR. this time as well as anything more on the kid))

Seth Almon: She manages to pick up a few snippets of a recent conversation that Seth had with C.R....Seth was asking how things had gone with the "Shade-breaker," and C.R. brushed it off. He (C.R.) was in a serious, take-charge attitude, and Seth's internal reaction was concern. Stacia gets a strong idea that they've known each other a very, very long while, and something about C.R.'s change in attitude has him worried about the man. ((More))

Seth Almon: In regards the young boy, Seth is, in fact, very worried. His most recent memory of the boy has him doing fairly well, despite behind homeless...his name's Jori, and he's a recovering heroin addict. Seth seems to have brought him back from that, and he was very proud as to how he was doing...his primary concern is not that he started using again, though that is there. He's worried more that something bad happened to him.

Stacia Flores: She hugs him tightly without saying anything over what she has gleamed this time.

Seth Almon: He smiles a bit and hugs her back, arms tightening around her. "You okay?" he asks after a long moment of the hug.

Stacia Flores: "I'm fine. I just had no idea.....about Jori. Or well, C.R. Are you really sure you want me to practice on you like this?"

Seth Almon: There's a brief pause, before he nods slightly in acknowledgment, voice a bit quieter. "Ahh. I see." He pulls back and nods a little. "I really don't mind. I have things that that concern me, of course. C.R. is a very old friend of mine...from before he Awakened, as a matter of fact. So we have a bit of history. And Jori..." He shrugs a little. "I took responsibility for nuturing the young man's care, health, and abilities. Which, as you might imagine, creates a certain bond."

Stacia Flores: "I know....It would be like if we had been in that situation instead, if things had not gone the direction they did. I really do want to help you find him...."

Seth Almon: "I know. And thank you." He nods. "We can start looking soon...this weekend, maybe, if you're free. Jori made a usual set of rounds on the weekend to certain places."

Stacia Flores: "Certainly," she rubs her thumb in a gentle circle over his jawline.

Seth Almon: He smiles, eyes half-shutting at that touch. "Jori was...well, he's one of those people who's abilities hit him hard. He has a particularly potent and...well, rather nasty combination of abilities. He was an incredibly powerful psychometrist...and a medium, to boot."

Stacia Flores: "Do you think those people whom I was warned about by Lee might have gotten him?"

Seth Almon: "The Union?" He shakes his head. "The Technocracy usually doesn't worry about us...and Jori was careful.about his skills. I don't discount the possibility, but I don't know how likely it is, either."

Stacia Flores: "I don't know what they are called just that it was strongly hinted to me before to be careful. I was pretty scared of Lee at the time to go doing anything to blab my mouth off to anyone. We can look tomorrow.....Though I'd suggest we go to Goodwill or Salvation Army for clothes first so we can blend in more."

Seth Almon: He nods. "That's a good idea. He didn't exactly hang out spanging in front of the Gap or anything."

Stacia Flores: "I wasn't thinking he would be."

Seth Almon: "I know." He smiles and runs his hand over the top of her leg lightly. "Just a weak attempt at levity to break the mood."

Stacia Flores: She shivers a little. "I could try and delve further to find out about these feelings you have for me if you'd like....." she bites her lip a little.

Seth Almon: He smiles a little. "If you like. I'd like to think you know most of what there is to know, but I certainly don't mind."

Stacia Flores: "I've already kinda got a feeling. I meant to try and come up with a diversion."

Seth Almon: "Ahh." He chuckles softly. "Again...if you'd like, I'm more then fine with that."

Stacia Flores: "If you insist," she blushes.

Stacia Flores: She looks intensely into his eyes, and kisses him, but just holds her lips against his as she tries again to focus on his feelings for her (Stacia Flores: d10: tele/wp: 8,8,8,1,3,6,))

Seth Almon: He smiles and shuts his eyes, leaning into the kiss. Stacia has no difficulty confirming the depths of Seth's feelings for her...he is falling in love with her, very much so. She senses that he hasn't really been this emotionally close to someone in quite a while. He's had quite a share of casual relationships in his time, but nothing very deep. More enjoyment of people's company. Which, as a side note, the last of which ended amicable several months before he and Stacia met. ((And because I think Stacia might be curious: )) Roxy is nowhere in there on that list.

Stacia Flores: ((Well, yeah, Stacia and me both curious on that)). After she hears/reads his thoughts, she deepens their kiss, slowly and passionately, closing her eyes while holding him close to her.

Seth Almon: He makes an audible sigh into the kiss, raising a hand to stroke gently over her hair, and come to rest at the nape of her neck. He leans into the kiss and slips an arm around her waist to draw them together.

Stacia Flores: She lets out a small little gasp while gently pulling out of the kiss to catch her breath. Sliding up onto his lap she smiles to him, laying her head on his shoulder.

Seth Almon: He smiles, a bit out of breath himself, shifting to let her get comfortable in his lap, and runs his hand over her back in small, soothing circles. "Mmm...this is nice." He leans his head down to kiss her forehead. "Can definitely get used to it."

Stacia Flores: "I know you can't read my mind right now......I wish you could....."

Seth Almon: He chuckles softly. "It's okay. I don't mind that I can't. After all...a woman's mystique is quite the attractive quality." He grins some.

Stacia Flores: "Well, you have me blushing all over the place inside......" which to saying that she starts blushing. "I'm going to get all nervous around you again."

Seth Almon: He shakes his head, still smiling. "You don't have to be, Sarah. I promise, the last thing I want to do is make you nervous or uncomfortable."

Stacia Flores: "I know.....something you have always been upfront with me from the day we met. It's a good nervous I'd have to say.....I'm not sure how to explain it. I do know that I love spending time with you and certainly miss when we aren't together. I ....well...tonight....I just want you to like my place as much as I like yours....oh I'm sounding silly now."

Seth Almon: "You want me to approve, because my opinion means something to you." He nods a little, the hand at the back of her neck moving forward so he can run his thumb along her jawline. "And for the record, I do like your place, very much. It's very much you...and that makes it very special in my book, Sarah. Honestly, you could have lived in the alley behind a slumhousing complex, and as long as the place had your personaliy, I'd be ecstatic to be there."

Stacia Flores: "Yes.....ummm...." she is still a bright shade of red and presses her face some against his thumb. "You mean a lot to me....and the fact I can be my self....Sarah...around you.....I know that I am crazy about you....and you're not anything like that rich guys I dated and the thoughts of trophy wife and kids aren't even part of my what I want now....." she says quietly.

Seth Almon: "That's good," he says softly. "Because you have so much more going for you then being a trophy wife. So very much more."

Stacia Flores: "Thank you...." she takes his hand and kisses the palm (the one not on her jaw).

Seth Almon: "Any time." He smiles some. "It's simply the truth."

Stacia Flores: She smiles back to him, looking back into his eyes. "What about practicing my other gift? Think I should?"

Seth Almon: He smiles. "Entirely up to you. I must admit, I'm curious to know what the effect of fascinating someone who's already completely enthralled in you would be..." He grins a little bit.

Stacia Flores: She blushes. "Well....I can give it a try...."

Stacia Flores: ((Stacia Flores: d10: fascination/wp: 9,7,9,5,))

Seth Almon: The effect settles over his mind, and his smile softens, becoming something much more enthralled. Even aware of the ability as he is, it's breath-taking, and he raises a hand to lightly brush the tips of his fingers, feather-light, along the edge of Stacia's forehead, down over her temple and to her jawline. "You've got...quite the skill with it," he says quietly, staring at her in awe.

Stacia Flores: She shivers, closing her eyes for a moment. "Maybe I'm just lucky with it...." her eyes open slowly again and she leans in to kiss him softly.

Seth Almon: "Luck, dearest, is just strands of fate whose path we haven't yet discovered." He murmurs it as he leans forward to meet the kiss with his own lips.

Stacia Flores: "Perhaps," she murmurs back against his lips. "Is there a way for me to turn this off?" she murmurs again.

Seth Almon: "Will it gone," he breathes. "It'll break it quickly enough..."

Stacia Flores: She closes her eyes, concentrating to stop the effect.

Seth Almon: And with her will, the enchantment breaks. When she opens her eyes, the look on Seth's face is less in the way of being completely enthralled, though no less caring...no less adoring of her.

Stacia Flores: "How do you feel now?" she asks quietly, eyes opening and noticing the subtle differences of before and after.

Seth Almon: He shrugs a little bit. "Like I'm coming down off an emotional high of sorts. But the landing still leaves me in incredible territory, so..."

Stacia Flores: "I do that?" she looks surprised considering how it sounds.

Seth Almon: "In a way, yes." He nods. "It's not an exact description, but it's the best way I've found to describe it."

Stacia Flores: She laughs softly. "Almost sounds like I put you on a drug. Would you like to spend the night tonight? My bed isn't that big but it's comfortable enough."

Seth Almon: He smiles gently and nods. "I would absolutely love to, Sarah."

Stacia Flores: She smiles. "Care to break open that bottle of wine? Or should we save it for a special occassion?"

Seth Almon: "Up to you, dearest. For me, any occasion with you is a special one." ((And I gotta get to bed. Fade here?))
