Amara: She lowers her head, putting her cup down. "I myself, have a huge problem with the undead things in this world. But it's not up to me to deal with them all. Maybe just the ones that fate ties me to." She sighs and glances up. "But it's not who you are now that I am worried about- it's who you were. You haven't severed ties with me, but you don't maintain your relationship with Griffen. Why?"

Briar Kennedy: "Too much went wrong, you recognized the ring, you could tell, We recognized you, knew you." she sets the cup aside. "Not all that used to seeing people from the past, not meeting and runing into people, staying out of things and just being on the fringes was better, at the time." she shrugs keeping her gaze away. "A moment of weakness, when what happened happened in the cafe, should never have done it. I am sure Griffen might have come to know me now, if it had not happened." she looks back over. "You wanted to know, so despite everything I told you. Do you really think that Griffen will let me live? Knowing that Tansy was for a short time what could be classified as an infernalist? Do you think he would let my boys live? We have learned, at the cost of having to keep things quiet."

Amara: She looks distraught. "Griffen will not hurt you. Why would you think he would? You're not Fallen. He knows sometimes people make mistakes." She leans forward a little. "Don't you feel better, knowing people who care fo you are around? That I'm here?"

Briar Kennedy: She raises an eyebrow. "Do I know that? No I really don't. Look at what happened to Durst. For his trechery, was he any more or less guilty as I am? I am terrified, chilled to the marrow of my bones, that someone will figure it out, or come to tell someone else what happened. I am scared that the demons will recognize me even now, or my boys, even though they did not see them born, and taken them away from me and kill me. That one day someone will come for me because of what I did." she shakes her head. "I was not the only one who assiciated with these demons, some people knew, and I pray to the goddess every day that I see the next sun rise or moon set that they will continue to forget."

Briar Kennedy: "Yeah people are here now. Where was anyone when Tansy needed her, when she was almost raped by a foster parent and had to run away. Had to move from town to town, depending on no one else but herself. She did once, learn to depend on people and her cabal....who knows what happened to them theyt left her, didn't care what happened to her. Do they even now? Who knows. She lived in a tomb for two weeks, beneath Sait Pat's, then two full months almost in a Shrine, with no one to talk to eight and nine months pregnant. No one really that could help her keep her safe protect her, no one looking for her. She cared about everyone, even one of her mentors tried to kill herself. She knows she made so many mistakes, we did make mistakes, and we have learned from them and are not going to do them again."

Amara: "You can't hide from your past, Briar. I will look out for you. I'd help you escape, if needs be. Griffen would as well. But we can't change some things. People are woven into our lives like threads, and sometimes we can't always see how tightly. Griffen is a strong member of his tradition, but he has had to be. And the loss of Tansy has hit him very hard. I didn't know. But I need you to please, talk to him." She realizes her words don't make a whole lot of sense, so she elaborates. "our cabal..was very important to us. And we'd have done anything for each other, and still would. You made a mistake, Tansy. You were lucky enough to learn from it. Most of us make mistakes like that. You can have secrets, most of us do that as well. But we need you, and I think you need us too."

Briar Kennedy: She looks away from Amara, silent for a long time, just staring off, as if doing a silent battle with herse.lf. finally quietly she says. "Fine, I'lkl talk to him."

Amara: "Thank you." She says, rising. She moves to sit next to Briar and rubs her back soothingly. Then she hugs her.

Briar Kennedy: Her jaw is set and she stares off still but when Amara hugs her she returns the hug, somewhat, and takes several deep breaths. " When do you want me to do this?" she asks.

Amara: "When you feel ready. I think the meeting is going to be very emotionally charged for you both."

Briar Kennedy: She nods her head. "Yeah no shit." she sighs and mutters something in Romani, then takes another deep breath. "Well, when he is ready to meet, I will be. Since I said I would do this, although I might never be fully ready for it, better to rip the band aid off quick."

Amara: "Will you tell him who you are?"

Briar Kennedy: She looks to Amara. "Isn't that what you want me to do? Not sure how or if it will help at all. I will tell him who I am now for sure."

Amara: "I would like you to tell him, yes. I know it's hard."

Briar Kennedy: She runs a hand through her hair. "Yeah. So few people know about it, and even some of them are forgetting." she shrugs. "It was something we thought about, something that should have wored in our favor."

Amara: She rubs the girl's back. She's so touchy feely when she's trying to convince someone not to be pissed at her.

Briar Kennedy: She sighs, then shakes her head again. "It's why i was so pissed off over what happened at your Chantry......I do not like people knowing more about me than I know about me, or more than I want them to know about me."

Amara: "Sebastian is an exception to all the rules." she says with a tiny smile. "He knows more about us all than we do about ourselves, I think." She flips out her cellphone and glances at Briar. "Here goes. ready?"

Briar Kennedy: "That makes me totally uneasy about him." she looks over and nods her head. "Yeah, I am going to go and use the bathroom, I will be right back." she drops a kiss to Amara's cheek quickly before heading to the bathroom.

Amara: She nods and dials, putting the phone to her ear.

Amara: She closes it after, and sits, fingers steepled and pressed against her lips, staring at the floor, tense.

Griffen "Aconite" Aston -> Amara: The phone picks up almost immediately. "I thought that it might be at least a week. Meeting twice in the same week might threaten the existence of the entire Tellurian." As usual, even his humor is deadpan and would likely be taken completely seriously, if Amara didn't know him better.

Amara -> Griffen "Aconite" Aston: She might laugh, but she sounds kinda seriuos. "Can you come over? There's someone I ned you to talk to."

Amara: (DLP, is still talking)

Briar Kennedy: She closes the bathroom door and it is quiet in there for a bit, well as much as someone who is actually just going to the bathroom makes, before the toilet flushes and the water in the sink comes on. After a minute the water turns off and she comes out to where Amara is at.

Griffen "Aconite" Aston -> Amara: A sound of assent. "Where are you?"

Amara: "My apartment." she gives him directions.

Griffen "Aconite" Aston -> Amara: "I will be there shortly." *Click*

Amara: She closes the phone and looks at Briar.

Briar Kennedy: She takes a seat on the couch, pulling her shirt down over her jeans as she takes a seat, picking up the tea cup and holding it. She looks over. "So he is on his way?" more of a statement than a question. She goes to sip the tea.

Briar Kennedy: She isn't going to talk a whole lot as she waits for Griffen to arrive, more of just silent thinking, and drinking some of the tea. Steeling herself for what is about to come.

Amara: "Yeah." She watches her.

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: It takes him a short while to get there...the man has no car, but he has a bicycle, at least. Dressed in his usual regalia of a simple green lace-up shirt and natural fiber pants with a pair of Doc Martins on his feet, and a simple silver pentacle around his neck. No cell phones, no technology...just a canvas backpack over one shoulder. He parks the bike in a rack outside and makes his way to the door, knocking.

Amara: She opens the door and wordlessly guestures for him to enter.

Briar Kennedy: She looks to the door when he knocks and then to Amara, her freckles standing out a touch more than normal on her face, as she grips the mug of tea in her hand, she swallows and nods her head. "I am ready." more said to herself than to Amara.

Amara: Her apartment seems to have bare functionals, with recent additions that show the signs of greater use. And, animal care items.

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: "Amara." He slips inside, nodding to her and looking around. He pauses when he sees Briar, an eyebrow raising slightly, though he maintains his otherwise impassive civility. "Miss Kennedy. Good evening."

Amara: "Griffen, have a seat. Can I get you tea or something better, like scotch?" She seems tense.

Briar Kennedy: She swallows a few times. "Mr. Aston." She is still wearing the ring, on her right hand.

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: "Scotch would be good, yes. Thank you." He nods to Amara and moves to take a seat opposite Briar. If he notices the ring, he makes no indication that he has.

Amara: She goes to her kitchen and returns with a glass, nearly brimming with scotch, a couple ice cubes clinking around in it. She hands this to him and sits down. "I called you both here tonight because I thought I should."

Briar Kennedy: She is quiet and tense as she waits for Amara to get his drink and give it to him before she says anything.

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: He takes the scotch and nods to her. "I did assume that you didn't call us both here because you thought it would be a bad idea. Though I must confess, I've not always understood your definition of good idea."

Griffen "Aconite" Aston -> Amara: ((Which is another joke, she'd note, despite his tone.))

Briar Kennedy: Keeping her hands tightly clasped arounf the mug in her hands. "I am also unsure if this is a good idea or not, but.....Amara thinks it will be a good idea." she looks to Griffen.

Amara: She smiles slightly. "I'm learning that as I go." she says.

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: He inclines his head slightly, in acknowledgment of Amara's words, and turns his impassive gaze to Briar. Considering her, it seems.

Briar Kennedy: "I want to first apologize to you." she says to Griffen. "Maybe my approach at the cafe was wrong, it was a moment of weakness, and for that in many respects I am sorry, and I wish it had gone better over all." she swallows and looks like she might be sick. "Amara did not give me this ring, you did. Right before I disappeared, and faked my own death." she starts to tremble, each word she says is as if it is getting harder and harder to speak. "I had to, to protect the others and myself, needed to change what I looked like, and who I was. But You would know me better as Tansy, Sansretti, not Briar Kennedy."

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: He opens his mouth to speak, then shuts it. He blinks twice. And stares at her, an intense look on his face, expression inscrutable.

Amara: She sits there, exhaling to relive the tension, and remains still.

Briar Kennedy: Sadness seems to fill her eyes, even as she continues to tremble. "I am going to be sick." she just manages to get out, before she hurrdly sets the cup down and runs for the bathroom, to promptly throw up.

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: He looks after Briar, blinking once more when she runs to the bathroom. His eyes slowly shift from Briar, over to Amara. His head tilts just the slightest bit to the right, questioning.

Amara: She nods a little. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you. It wasn't my place to do so. But I asked her to tell you. She doesn't know..what I know."

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: He nods slightly, and then raises the glass to his lips. Drinking a good quantity of the alcohol, before setting it aside. "Understood."

Amara: "I think you should, though."

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: His brow furrows some, and he frowns. "What will that help anything, Amara?"

Briar Kennedy: The sounds from the bathroom continue for a while, toilet flushing water running those types of sounds.

Amara: "Maybe not. It's not up to me to make that judgement. But she's afriad of you."

Briar Kennedy: All before she comes out, still looking pale, arms crossed over her stomach, eyes down to the floor with occasional glances up to Griffen then to Amara, she keeps to the farthest parts of the room as she enters, making somewhat of a wide path till she get's to her seat once more. "Sorry." She pulls her legs up to her chest when she sits down.

Briar Kennedy: ((Sorry hit post instead of update *kciks self*))

Amara: "Are you okay?" she asks Briar with concern, getting up to pour her more tea.

Briar Kennedy: She nods her head. "Yeah, better now, thanks." she ssyas to Amara, and glances to Griffen, waiting it seems for something from him.

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: He looks to Briar, watching her with that same, impassive look. The intensity has faded a little, though it's still stronger then average. "It is...good to know that you are still alive, Tansy."

Amara: "And, we love you very much, and we care about you." she adds. "He would say that too, but it might make his face crack."

Briar Kennedy: She takes several deep breaths, as she nods her head. "For all intense purposes Tansy is dead. I could have my appearance changed, but not much else I could have done. I am sorry. I know she is not really dead, but with some things, like people forgetting about her after so much time, that is what we hoped to accomplish, but doesn't look like that completly came true."

Briar Kennedy: She nods her head to Amara, but keeps her gaze on Griffen.

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: He casts Amara a look, then nods to Briar. "Understood. Concealing one's identity is...an involved process. Are you concerned about the Union?"

Briar Kennedy: She shakes her head. "No. I did not do this because of the Union. Besides their operation for now has been taken down thanks to a cabal at Lings, who suffered the loss of two of its three members, and two people from the Hollow One chantry. They blew the power source for the AATR." she swallows and looks to her knees, then back up tense once more. "I did it because Demons would have come after me, after the rest of us, after my children. They still could if they knew who I was, really knew, or if they remebered."

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: He frowns at this. "Demons?"

Amara: She pours more tea, shakily, for herself.

Briar Kennedy: She nods her head. "Yes. I did not know anything about them at the time. Knew that they could sense and tell when we did our magic, but not much else about them." she takes a deep breath. "I did a lot of things by example back when I first came to the city, that is how I learned. Also by listening asking questions. There is similarities and differences in what I have learned about these. The once I encountered, inhabited the bodies, or just dead people or people who had no will left in themselves. Taking over and possessing them. They knew what we are, they called us the children of Babel. The could do things, similar things as to what we could do, but with no recourse, and more inflexable as we could. Teleport, change appearance at a whim, turn to mist, make great floods, rain, craft things from nothing. It was a little daunting, but quite inflexable in what they can do. They communicate, with one another by speaking their celestial names, and be able to see things around the person they talk with that way. They also can show their true form, some beautiful all of it awe inspiring to say the least." she takes another deep breath. "But they walk amongst us. Live amongst us."

Griffen "Aconite" Aston: He looks between the two, then back to Briar. "I see. And, aware of you and that you know of them, they seek your ruination?"

Amara: She steeples her fingers again, and presses them to her lips.
