Aunt Susannah: *An old ratty blanket adorns her shoulders. It seems warm enough, really. She sits cross-legged on the ground, feet kicking slightly. She hums to herself, seeming to ponder.*

Kelton Michaels: He limps his way down the street. His usual, limping gait carries him along, the cane providing the bult of his support. He's dressed warmly, with a scarf around his neck over the tweede jacket. Black leather gloves on his hands. He smiles briefly at those he passes, before he comes on an approach to Susannah, and his eyes fall on her. He smiles a bit to her as he comes closer.

Aunt Susannah: *She beams up at him. Even if it's not warm, her smile IS.* Well, hey there, sugar!

Kelton Michaels: "Good evening, ma'am." He says with a small smile to her...more reserved then warm, though hardly emotionless. "How are you this night?"

Aunt Susannah: S'a little chilly, but not enough to chill me, eh? I'm good, as always. Things move on. How are you, honey?

Kelton Michaels: "I have been well," he says with a slight shrug. "Life has been rather uneventful for me. I am slowly starting to learn to socialize more."

Aunt Susannah: Interesting, *she says with a large smile.* From your want, or someone else's?

Kelton Michaels: "Both, I imagine," he says with a bit of a chuckle. "I can no longer just sit in my home. And I am sure someone would desire me to get out more."

Aunt Susannah: That's the nice thing when your home's the whole of the City. You're ALWAYS out. Should try it sometime. *She pulls herself up.* Rrf! Y'wanna go for a walk?

Kelton Michaels: He smiles and nods, reaching a hand out to help her up, while leaning on the cane to stabilize himself. "I would be delighted, Miss Susannah."

Aunt Susannah: Ahh, thank you! SUCH a gentleman, sugar. *She beams.* Come on. I'll show you around my place.

Kelton Michaels: "Excellent." He nods and begins to limp along, letting her lead the way.

Aunt Susannah: *She is clearly assured. Her head is held up, as she walks alongside him. HEr smile remains the size that it would be. Her ragged blanket hangs off of her shoulders as some would wear a cloak.* This is my diner, *she says, and waves a hand at an alley.* And these... are my neighbors... howdy boys!

Kelton Michaels: He smiles a little at that, and even nods to the 'beighbors.' "Quite a home you have. Very spacious."

Aunt Susannah: *She nods.* And an AMAZING city view, *she says with a grin.*

Kelton Michaels: "I would imagine so." He nods and chuckles a little bit. "You seem quite comfortable in the environment, as well. Have you lived in this same home all your life?"

Aunt Susannah: Well... used to live in a tiny house with my older brothers an' my momma. But didn't really have time, you know. Had to move out here. It was too small in there.

Kelton Michaels: "Yes...I would imagine so," he murmurs, nodding at her words. "Well, you certainly went from small to large, then."

Aunt Susannah: Well, I had to, *she says cheerily.* Upgradin'. Silly people, livin' inside their houses. They don't know what they're missin', eh, sugar?

Kelton Michaels: He chuckles slightly to that. "Yes, well...you are speaking with a home-bound individual. But perhaps you have a point."

Aunt Susannah: *She smiles.* They call us homeless. But I'll let you in on a secret, sugar. *She grins, and leans in to whisper.* What we are, is free.

Kelton Michaels: He nods a little. "I suppose that's true. Still, there are advantages to having a home, don't you think?"

Aunt Susannah: Mmmh. Well, it WOULD be nice t'have somewhere warm, occasionally, *she allows.* But not havin' to pay taxes IS pretty sweet.

Kelton Michaels: He chuckles at that. "You just have to be creative with your accounting."

Aunt Susannah: Or you can not need money, *she says with a smile.* Mmmh.

Aunt Susannah: Let's head on back, though, *she says with a cheery smile.* I like t'see who goes in and out of that building myself.

Kelton Michaels: "It's not a matter of 'need,'" he says with a shrug. "It's a matter of 'use.' Although I must confess, I would rather be in dire straights without a way to pay for this." Gesturing toward his bad leg.

Kelton Michaels: "Hmm?" He tilts his head a bit, then nods. "Ahh, yes. Certainly...after you, Miss Susannah."

Aunt Susannah: *She smiles.* If y'need a shoulder, though, go ahead an' lean on me. Can't say I'm the strongest, but steady enough on m'feet, honey.

Kelton Michaels: "I am quite fine, Miss Susannah. Thank you for the offer, though." He turns and heads back in that direction with her.

Aunt Susannah: All right! *she says cheerily, and leads the way back to Sanctuary.*

Aunt Susannah: ((fade?))

Kelton Michaels: ((Fade! Thankee!))
