Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
The woman is leaning back against a building,
casually smoking a clove. Waiting for someone or something, from the looks of
it.
Kelton Michaels: He makes his way down the
street with his awkward gait, leaning heavily on his cane as he walks. He's out
to enjoy a quiet night...perhaps see what he can find. He moves along the
sidewalk, committing every detail of the area to memory, taking it all in.
Aunt Susannah: ((Open?))
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She makes no effort to hide the fact that she's
staring at the man. Watching him with a careful eye and quirky cryptic grin.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
(far as I know, yes)
Kelton Michaels: He looks over at the
little gothling staring his way, and arches an eyebrow. He gives her a polite if
reserved smile. "Good evening..."
Kelton Michaels: ((Sure!))
Aunt Susannah: *She sticks near
halfway, ass-out, of a trash can, perhaps digging in the bottom of it for some
prize. Her legs kick idly, as she tries to balance herself.*
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She picks up a casual pace beside Kelton, exhaling
her sweet smoke off to the side, away from present company. "Right back atcha.."
Aunt Susannah: Hrrf! *She squirms out, and
flops o nthe ground, near the alleyway, looking pleased with herself.* ((And of
course, if you need a DD, lemme know.))
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:

Kelton Michaels: He glances over at the
bottom half of a woman sticking out of a trash can, and then back over to Baby.
"Is there something that I can help you with, madame?"
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
"Certainly hope so.. Michaels.. right? Kelton?" She
turns toward the pair of legs that catch the corner of her eye. Watching the
bumette flop onto the ground. She raises a hand in a fixed wave to the woman.
Aunt Susannah: *She laughs, as she bites
into a leftover crust. And she raises a hand to Baby.* Ohh! Hey there, sugar!
*Of course she doesn't know her... but that doesn't mean she could be impolite.*
Kelton Michaels: He pauses then, looking
the girl over with an almost wary expression, under the civility. "That would be
my name, yes. Do we know each other?"
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She stops her pace as not to distance herself from
the bumette. "I remember you.. Urian's little find, right? From the meeting way
back when?" She looks back over to Kelton, cracking a halfgrin. "If we knew each
other.. you wouldn't look so confused.. trust me. Your reputation precedes you."
Aunt Susannah: Ahh! Yes! *she says
cheerily.* He's a sweetie. Don't remember your name, though, sugar.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
"Call me Baby Death. And yourself?"
Kelton Michaels: His brow raises at
mention of Urian, and when Baby mentions his reputation, he quirks his head a
bit. "Ahh. I see."
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She grins back over to Kelton. "Ahh.. you're catching
up with the rest of the class. Good. I hate it when members of my house take
longer than the rest to catch on."
Aunt Susannah: I'm Susannah. Those
'round these parts call me Auntie. No Susie. Just Susannah. *She nods.*
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
"Susannah, got it. You go to the club at all? I
haven't seen you there since that one time."
Kelton Michaels: "You'll have to forgive
me," he says with a brief smile. "I'm afraid that these days, I don't know
everyone who knows me."
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She quirks a brow to Kelton. "Oh?"
Aunt Susannah: I hang out outside, sugar,
*she says with a smile. She looks back to Kelton, though, licking off her
fingers.* The world is so much bigger than just a simple house, you know?
Kelton Michaels: "Yes," he says to Baby,
the small smile becoming a smaller frown rather quickly. He shrugs it off,
though, looking over to Susannah, and nods. "Good evening...forgive my manners.
Kelton Michaels."
Aunt Susannah: It's all right, honey,
I'm used to being overlooked. Part of my charm. *She cants her head.* Pleasure,
darlin'.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She looks between the two with an amused smile.
Watching for the time being. Taking an idle drag from her clove.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
"So.. the two of you have any big plans for this
evening?"
Aunt Susannah: I was gonna see if I
couldn't find a good cigar, myself. *She looks almost upset.* I used to get
donations, but... alas, it seems they're gone.
Kelton Michaels: He nods to her, smiling
just a touch, and looks from one to the other. "So, then...a fateful meeting on
the street? Surely not a chance one..."
Aunt Susannah: I don't believe in chance
myself, honey, *she says sincerely. Her smile never leaves completely.*
Kelton Michaels: He shakes his head. "I
have no plans."
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
"Only fools believe in chance." She says with a tiny
grin, offering a clove over to Susannah. "Don't do cigars myself.. but you can
always have one of mine."
Aunt Susannah: *She makes a slight face.*
It's... so small, *she says, almost disappointed. She sighs, but still smiles.*
Thank you for the offer, sugar, but no.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She shrugs and puts her pack away.
Aunt Susannah: Apologies, darlin', but
it's like offering a beer to someone accustomed to wine.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She cracks another grin in susannah's direction. "Riiiiight..
" She looks off down the sidewalk. "I don't guess the two of you keep up on..
current events.. right?"
Kelton Michaels: He leans on the cane,
watching the duo...mostly Baby. "I have been, as of late, regrettably
unsuccessful in doing so, yeah."
Kelton Michaels: ((yeah = yes.))
Aunt Susannah: *She looks back to the
woman, curiously.* I watch enough, *she says cheerily.* But I suppose there's
something else you're gonna tell us.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She nods. "Thought so. How about we snag a hotel
room.. order a pizza.. and make proper introductions. Do things right for a
change.. just to shake things up."
Aunt Susannah: *Her eyes brighten* Pizza?
Ohh, honey, you know how to tug on my heartstrings.
Kelton Michaels: He smiles some. "I rather
think I'd like that."
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
"The crust gnawage gave it away. I'm nothing if not
intuitive. Shall we?" She starts off down the sidewalk, not really waiting for
an answer it seems.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She meanders toward the nearest cheap motel.
Kelton Michaels: He nods and follows,
limping along after her.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She makes her way there quietly. Checks in and gets a
key to the room. Leading the two of them into the non-descript low level motel
accomidation.
Kelton Michaels: If he has any discomfort
by the potentially shoddy look of the place, he doesn't show it. Merely does his
best to keep up with the blissfully lucky with two good legs.
Aunt Susannah: *She doesn't seem to mind
at all. It seems a paradise. She looks over curiously to the floor, and flops
down, cross-legged.*
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
As promised, her first move is to go over to the
phone in the room.. and order a pizza. Large, supreme. After she hangs up, she
leans back against the wall and digs out her cloves. "There we go.. food on the
way."
Kelton Michaels: He settles himself
carefully into a seat and relaxes, rubbing a little at his leg. "Excellent."
Aunt Susannah: Who should go first,
sweetie? *she says with a smile.*
Kelton Michaels: "I shall," he says with a
shrug. "I am Zachriel, keeper of the Eternal Lore. Of the Fourth House."
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She lights up a clove, exhaling swiftly in an upward
motion. "Doesn't matter, really. I guess manners would require that I go first..
having sought you out and all." She grins between the two of them. "Jerech-Kor.
Senior Minister of Eagles, Lidless Eye of New York City."

Kelton Michaels -> Aunt Susannah:
Zachriel, Visage of Portals. Was in charge of recording Memories before the
fall. He was rather convinced into rebelling because of what the Oracles hid
from everyone regarding the Great Catastrophe...basically, out of a sense of
betrayal by his own.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She moves over to sit on the edge of the bed. "And
the two of you are loyal to the infernal court?"
Kelton Michaels -> Aunt Susannah: Oh, and
like most of the Sources, he found himself on Lucifer's personal staff during
the war, recording the events of the war, though he stayed away from most other
Fallen if he could help it. Travelled alone.
Kelton Michaels: "I have yet to make such
loyalty official, to be honest. I have yet to meet the Tyrant. But I intend to
make myself loyal, yes."
Aunt Susannah -> Kelton Michaels: Usual
deal. Newer Angel. Sided with Lucifer because the other side didn't make any
sense, and the Humans were her flock.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
"Intent.. will suffice." She says simply, taking
another drag from her clove. "Things are in a very.. transitional period right
now.. to say the least. By midweek you should have a name to report in to."
Aunt Susannah: *She looks back to Jenn as
well.* Mmmh. I'm afraid, honey, I don't know enough of them to be so.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She nods to Susannah. "I'd recommend getting to know
them. Urian can help you with that.. since you seem to take a liking to him and
all." She cracks an amused grin.
Aunt Susannah: *She smiles brightly, and
she nods.* Not many people I don't like.
Kelton Michaels: "I see.' He nods at that,
leaning back in his chair. He opens a pill bottle and shakes out a single
painkiller, placing it on his tongue and swallowing it as he looks to Susannah.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She chuckles at Susannah's words. "I have a few I
could introduce you to.."
Aunt Susannah: I think even them I could
find some good in. I assure you, sweetie.
Kelton Michaels: "Somehow, I rather doubt
that you could find good in truly everyone," he says with a curious tilt of his
head.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
"I dislike people that have good in them. It's a
matter of balance and idiocy. Maybe I'm just too finicky." There's a knock on
the door. Baby gets up to pay for the pizza.
Aunt Susannah: *She smiles idly.* It's
sometimes a challenge. But each and every thing that exists in this whole world
is for the purpose of pushing things forward. How could I not like it?
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
(change that to 'dislike ~some~ peple that have good
in them.' Just realized how icky that sounded)
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
After she pays, she closes the door and sets the
pizza on the table, opening the top flap of the greasy cardboard box. "And just
how to the reveners push things forward?" She asks simply.
Aunt Susannah: They inspire people to
move. *She looks back to Jenn.*
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
"While pushing for the destruction of all of
existence.. I.. see.." She says skeptically, looking to Kelton. "Pizza?" She
picks up a slice, looking more than willing to carry it to the cripple.
Aunt Susannah: *Her eyes widen slightly at
that.* They make you angry, don't they? Mad enough to go after them?
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She quirks a brow at Susannah. "They confuse me..
more than anything. I'm not really the angry sort."
Kelton Michaels: "And thus, by your
definition, you would be a fan of the Earthbound?" He looks from Susannah, back
over to Baby. Considering a moment, before nodding. "Thank you, Jerech-Kor."
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She hands a slice to Kelton, then takes one for
herself. Listening to the banter.
Aunt Susannah: They inspire others to
go after them. Even they have their purpose. *She cants her head.* I didn't say
I was a fan. *She smiles.* You're mincing words, honey. *She reaches for the
pizza.*
Kelton Michaels: "I'm simply gaining
clarification." He smiles some. "You said, 'How could I not like it,' referring
to the it as that which has purpose and pushes things forward. I rather thought
that it was a generalization, but wanted to make sure. One can never be too
safe."
Aunt Susannah: *She nods to that.* Never
too careful. But you CAN be too paranoid, sugar. *She smiles, and takes a large
bite from the pizza.*
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
"Hmm. Interesting take, I guess. A bit naive, but
admirable." She takes a bite.
Aunt Susannah: I'm not as old as YOU
fogies, *she says with a laugh, and she leans against the bed, but not on it.*
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She grins, taking another bite. "We'll forgive you,
young'un. You'll learn."
Aunt Susannah: I hope not, *she says, with
a grin.* You oldies are so... depressed, all the time.
Kelton Michaels: "Give it time." He grins
a bit.
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
"I'm not depressed." She says, taking another bite.
"Don't let the outfit throw you off. Deep down inside.. there's a cheerleader
clawing to get out. I just keep her bound ninety nine point nine percent of the
time."
Aunt Susannah: *She keeps her smile, and
she does look amused. Her eyes flick back to the pizza.*
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
She finishes her slice, motioning to the box. "Eat
up, chica. I'm not very hungry."
Aunt Susannah: Bless you, sugar, *she
says, truly grateful, and helps herself to another slice.*
Kelton Michaels: ((Guys, I hate to do it,
but I gotta book. Something RL-related has come up.))
Jenn 'Baby Death' Ilsen:
(that's cool. did you want to pause or fade out?)
Kelton Michaels: ((Can do either. Assume
that Kelton has to go for something if you want. I'll be back in an hour or so,
but doubt Fang will be on, so...))
Aunt Susannah: ((Likely not. Sleeps would
be good, actually.))
Kelton Michaels: ((Pause or fade is
cool...gotta run. Thanks for the scene, guys! *Hugs*))
