Laidan: It was late, she was tired by now, hungry. But even as she crept through Troy's home, she didn't take any of his food, not quite yet. But the gitl was tired so she finally gave up waiting for him and sunk down onto his couch, falling asleep nearly instanly in homid.

Troy Lawrence: The sounds of shuffling from the other room...then footsteps. Slow, and trying to be quiet. There's the click of a light switch...and then, silence for a long moment. "Laidan?" There's a definite, strong tone of surprise in his voice.

Laidan: She slowly sits up, rubbing an eye sleepily. But she smiles to him, resting easily on his couch, like a nearly naked woman belongs there. "Hello Troy."

Troy Lawrence: "You're back." My god, a contraction from the man. He makes his way over toward her, dropping to a crouch in front of her. "Are you...where..." He blinks a couple of times.

Laidan: A soft, gentle laugh and she carefully reaches out until fingers brush against his face. "I'm back. I am going to stay and I only just returned. And it is so very good to hear your voice again.

Troy Lawrence: He smiles a little bit, feeling her touch him. It's a small smile, but a very honest one. "It is good to see you. Are you all right? How have you been?"

Laidan: "I'm fine, just a bit tired and disorientated being back in this world. And I've been fine, iit was very interesting where I got to go... but I am glad to be back here."

Troy Lawrence: "And we are glad to have you." He says it without doubting that the others will be glad to see her. "We've missed you. All of us."

Laidan: She blinks, as if a little surprised and then actually blushes, ducking her head slightly. "I missed you all very much too."

Troy Lawrence: He smiles. "That is warming to hear." He looks back to the bedroom, then to Laidan again. "You should rest...and I must go tell Marie we will be having someone stay with us." It's assumed, of course, she will be. No asking necessary.

Laidan: "I promise not to linger too long." Though is obvious she appreciates him allowing her to stay. "I do have to see Eddie and the children and Josh and Ashlyn and.... pretty much everyone." A pause. "But you were the first."

Troy Lawrence: "Take as much time as you need." He nods. "Eddie is living in the same place...Joshua is living with that...Reyna woman now. We also have expanded our pack...Mercury Bloodmoon and Natasha Carter. They will be happy to see you back, I think...all of them." He pauses a moment, looking at her. "Thank you for coming to see me. It is good to know you are with us again."

Laidan: She gives a very amused look. "Ah, Joshua and Reyna? Good, that only took forever. And Mercury I know, though not Natasha." A pause. "... and thank you Troy, it is good to be among you all as well... who is Beta now?" She assumes, since she's metis and was gone so long, that it has been taken

Troy Lawrence: "Eddie has been fulfilling the duties...until you return. I hope you are ready to fulfill them again...Eddie has done admirably, but she is not my Beta."

Laidan: She blinks and then flushes a bit again. "I would be honored again fullfill my duty as Beta."

Troy Lawrence: "Excellent." He nods. "It is decided, then. Have you a place to stay long-term? Forgive me, I do not know how you arranged the place you were at."

Laidan: "I do. I last stayed with Eddie and the children. I figured since If I remember right she's due soon, I would remain there and watch oveer them."

Troy Lawrence: He nods a little bit. "That is a good idea. And I know she will be happy to have you there."

Laidan: Her smile softens. "I promised the children I would return- it is a promise I intended to keep from the beginning."

Troy Lawrence: "I had little doubt that you would."

Laidan: She smiles more, settling on the couch. "... thank you."

Troy Lawrence: "You are very welcome." He nods a little bit, and reaches out to touch her shoulder lightly. "Rest now, Laidan. We will have much to speak of soon...but that is for later. Welcome home."

Laidan: She slowly slides to lay back down on the couch, those blue eyes fluttering shut. "Thank you... it is very good to be home.."

Troy Lawrence: He smiles a bit. "Good night. Sleep well." He rises, and turns to head back to his room.
