John Dante [PT]: He stops outside Sanctuary. Blues eyes scanning the outside of the building. He ponders for just a second then walks in, lets sdee who is about shall we.

Keiko Moroboshi: *Keiko finishes her first and waves away the bartender when she's offerred a second...she's quiet, watching Alister and Abigail unless they speak to her directly*

Alister Kurth: "I don't get a pay check here, so I suppose if anything that leaves me as 'well informed' though I'm not sure I entirly qualiy there, not a regular yet, but I'm working on it."

Abigail Williams: "Batting.. what, half a one out of however many options? And working on another. I could have always missed completely though." Accompanied in statement by a shrug, and a tad too much more of the aforementioned drink. Evincing a slight wince when swallowed.

John Dante [PT]: He steps in, noting the different crowd during day and not night. He closes his eyes a moment as he gets another flash fromt he past, he holds his head eyes scanning the crowds, faces, he is looking over faces.

Keiko Moroboshi: *Keiko stands up* "I will be right back." *and she heads to the ladies room* ((due to the fact that her player needs to run for like...10 minutes or so))

John Dante [PT]: d10: Per & Alert: 9,9,7,2,1,

John Dante [PT]: No nothing, nothing he could...he sees' Keiko and he can't help the grin on his face which is quickly cut short as she makes her way into the ladies room. He rolls his eyes cursing his luck and heads for the bar.

DD= Standing about 6ft, late twenties Caucasian male with dark brown nearly black hair slightly spiked. The man is handsome there is no doubt in that, chiselled looks never hurt anyone, and they certainly don’t harm him. Combine that with his toned physique easy noticed through his clothes, muscles show on his chest and arms this man either has a physical job or works out. His style of dress is casual, blue jeans, white shirt the first few buttons undone, shoes. There is something about him though, a presence you can’t explain but you know when he is there, a charm to him only few ever have, and he has it in spades. The eyes just end the picture, there sky ethereal blue is so enticing and full of wonder it looks like the heavens, so deep and endless are they that few can turn away once they are caught in his gaze.

Alister Kurth: "Ok." he nods to Keiko, and looks back to abigale "Yeah, some over none isn't too bad, especially when guess ing on some one you met only a short while ago."

Abigail Williams: "I've done worse jobs of it. Wonder if she's alright?" Asked of, or rather when, Keiko wandered off towards the bathroom. Which was where her eyes were occupied in being presently, that and the glass of brown liquid in front of her at any rate.

John Dante [PT]: A sly wink and he gets a bartenders attention, ordering a bottle of Becks as he slips some money over the bar and hops onto a stool, one eye watching the Ladies room.

Alister Kurth: "I'm sure she's just fine." he says picking his drink up again, glancing around the place, just scanning people.

Abigail Williams: People would probably include he who had sat so nearby in recent moments. He did present a hard presence not to notice after all, let alone ignore after noticing. But even three and a half (better than one half and not yet) drinks evidently didn't set Abigail as ready to open up to that one yet. Amounting to looking, parting her lips somewhat, and promptly closing them around the edge of her glass again since it gave her somewhere else to focus.

John Dante [PT]: A sip of his bottle as he fumbles in a pocket pulling out a pack of smokes and putting them on the side. He looks at them a minute. Should he.

Keiko Moroboshi: ((Back!)) *she exits the ladies room and heads back to her seat at the bar*

John Dante [PT]: He watches her, waiting to see where she will end up.

Alister Kurth: people proably would, but no one's noted in the glancing round he shuffels slightly putting his elbow on the bar and leaning on it, he tilts his neck slightly. "you said something about the smell of engine grease earlier? you play about with cars or something?"

Keiko Moroboshi: *her seat is with Alister and Abigail, and she waves the bartender over to bring her a second drink*

Abigail Williams: "Err.. Fix 'em, actually." It took prying, but in some capacity the question and it's subsequent ability to keep her on something she knew as far as subjects go was welcome. Even so far as to seem a bit grateful to Alister for doing it expression wise. "Don't make enough fixing them to have one worth playing with I'm afraid."

John Dante [PT]: He stands, downing the rest of his drink, giving a moment for her to get comfortable and working the excuse through his head quickly.

Alister Kurth: "Really? I was under the impreshion mechanics got a decent wage, as it's not something that you know, anyone can turn round and do, requires a degree of skill and know how." he takes another sip of his drink.

Keiko Moroboshi: *she's quiet, and starts sipping her second drink, glancing over at the red door briefly before turning back to Alister and Abigail*

Laurel Hensley: ((Room for another?))

Abigail Williams: "It gets one's standards pretty rough too is the thing, and there's always other things to eat at one's paycheck." A raise of the glass to his sipping, toasting air with it for all appearances. "Costs of living."

John Dante [PT]: ((All good for me *s*))

Abigail Williams: ((No objections here.))

Alister Kurth -> Laurel Hensley: ((always room for another, warning if she's comming down though to keep in mind that leon's sitting around up there being silent and well, just silent really, a bit unnurving possibly in addition but that's all))

Alister Kurth: "In this city, living isn't something most people do coz it costs too much." he smirks and toasts returns the toast in the air, finishing of his drink and slidding it across the bar.

Keiko Moroboshi: "It is not that living is expensive, it is that it is difficult to do and time consuming."

Laurel Hensley -> Alister Kurth: ((Leon's been upstairs? Ahh, never mind, then, he's not leaving Leon up there alone with the girls there.))

Abigail Williams: "Ya know, I've noticed that. I don't particularly favor the idea of oblivions of existence though. Self-imposed or.. otherwise." Finished, as is her own, set down by it's three brothers. Promptly necessitating Abigail to lean her chin on the palm of one hand, elbow against the bar. "Had quite enough of nothings, even if the somethings are kind of hard to get the hang of."

Alister Kurth: He nods "True, the best things in life are free, but people forget that."

Laurel Hensley: ((NM, guys. Situation upstairs is such that Laurel wouldn't leave it. Lemme know if they head up or anything, and enjoy the scene. :) ))

John Dante [PT]: He picks up the smokes taking another looks at them before he puts them in his pocket. He slowly makes his way through the crowd towards Keiko, Alister and Abigail's table ((DD for Abigail please *s*))

Keiko Moroboshi: ((they don't have a table, they're sitting at the bar))

Alister Kurth -> Laurel Hensley: ((she can tell him to leave, he'll do so, was just why alister went downstairs from when he went up before, and a reason to say to keiko 'you really don't wanna go up there' when it started out, way to have everyone together you know *G*))

John Dante [PT]: ((Correct that then to bar *s*))

Keiko Moroboshi: *Keiko nods silently, and looks up at the man approaching them*

Abigail Williams: "Granted. Though some of the ones you have to pay for aren't so bad either. And sometimes the free ones don't last."

John Dante [PT]: ((Need a dd give me a ping Jano))

Laurel Hensley -> Alister Kurth: ((Everytime she's tried to tell anyone to leave, it's blown up in her face with Brigette or someone else. Sanctuary being an open safe haven for al Fallen and all. I think it would just make more sense for her to stay upstairs, sadly.))

Alister Kurth: "Some of the free things don't, but nor do the most expensive often. Often the best things in life though are the ones that hurt the most, because lets face it, something that's wonderful or awful for a moment but changes your life is more than something that lasts forever but changes nothing. What is it about sitting at a bar that breeds philisophical discushions?"

Alister Kurth -> Laurel Hensley: ((Ok, sorry to've made a pain've that. Was just trying to have people downstairs coz've the none known fallen that can be involved. backfired a smidge now hmmm, sorry.))

John Dante [PT]: He smiles as Keiko looks over and he makes his approach, a nice pearly white one. He looks to Alistair and Abigail his gaze finally settling on Keiko "Afternoon Miss Moroboshi, you might not remember me, you treated me not two months back, my friend Tom gave me your number. I had that blasted red fever and you cured it right up" His accent is Brooklyn with an undertone of Australian and words seem to glide from his mouth like silk.

Laurel Hensley -> Alister Kurth: ((It's cool, shit happens. Talk to you later.))

Abigail Williams: "I've no idea, but it certainly pulls it off effectively doesn't it?" As to hurting? There's a glance at the pile of glass beside her, and.. a shaking of her head. "That one works both ways too though, the hurting bit. Sometimes there's really nothing wonderful about it, and shit just hurts."

Keiko Moroboshi: *no regnotiion...and she doesn't seem to get it immediately...she's looking at him oddly* "Umm....hello..."

Alister Kurth: He gives a slight nod back to John as he looks his way, just politeness. "Some times pain's just pain yeah, but you gotta try and use it else nothing good comes of it and you just fall into it and let the pain consume you, and that's just not worth it."

John Dante [PT]: He smiles internally but nothing shows on his face. He looks once more to Alistair and Abigail before nodding ever so slightly to Keiko "I see I have caused some unneeded disturbance." He looks around realising he was suddenly and quickly becoming out of place "I'll leave you too it, but thanks again Miss Moroboshi, you did good work." A nod to the others at the table as he turns and begins to walk away.

Abigail Williams: "Yeah, gotta concede that one. As tired of climbing as one can get." Abigail.. missed the look. Staring down at the time having accomplished it. The talk about red fever and treatments filtering into.. well, whatever else was out there in the way of sound. "No use enduring more Hell than one has to."

Keiko Moroboshi: "Umm...goodbye." *she definitely appears to be confused*

Alister Kurth: He catches the look but doesn't responde this time, glances over his shoulder at john when he starts walking away, shrugs to himself looking back "Nope, well not usually, sometimes it's worth enduring that bit more if the results will be worth it. Just need to always keep in mind that it could be so much worse aye." he grins and hails the bartender "Can I have a whisky with orange juice please. thanks your a star." looks back to abigale and keiko "Either of you want anything?"

William Halloran: The big man's been doing his thing, sitting at the door and watching things with a practiced eye. Those familiar with the giant might have noticed an edge to him...something a bit more somber, even, then normal as he let people in and kept an eye on the crowd. A bit defeated, perhaps. He looks over as one of the other security guys comes to relieve him and nods, turning to make his way to the bar.

Big and scary. Those are the two best words to describe the man standing there. Standing a touch over seven feet tall, and easily weighing over 400 pounds, the man pretty much defines the saying “I wouldn’t want to meet HIM in a dark alley!” His hair, a dark brown, is just a little too long to be considered short, and is worn combed straight back, revealing his face...and that’s not a good thing. The right side of his face is distorted and misshapen, looking somewhat caved in at the cheekbone, as if from an old wound. The eye above is perpetually bloodshot, though the original green reflected in the other eye struggles to show through. He’s dressed in a T-Shirt listing him as Sanctuary Security, a huge pair of blue jeans, and size 17 boots. His gaze is surprisingly gentle for someone as intimidating as he is, and the look he gives off indicates...loneliness, perhaps? ((Fame 2: Check Who's Who for Details))

John Dante [PT]: His eyes look behind the bar to the red door every so breifly. No too much to explain just to get past the bloody door as he looks down at his new form. He settles for heading towards the bar nearer the other end fromt he group, was still a day off and something in him wouldn't mind a few more drinks.

Keiko Moroboshi: *she shakes her head* "I should get going..." ((as the player is about to head off in the next couple of minutes)) "It has been nice to meet you both." *she stands up*

Abigail Williams: "Not more than I've already had. Was supposed to stop one ago as it is, but thanks." John walks off.. and Abigail catches his glance again finally. And almost immediately looks downward once more, looking for all intent and purpose.. shy. "That would.. would have to be one hell of a result I'd think."

Alister Kurth: "Ok, well all the best have a good one." he nods to her "Some other time perhaps." He just shrugs to the comment 'should have stopped one ago' "One over what you shoulda isn't too bad. What result?" he asks curiously.

Keiko Moroboshi: *and Keiko heads off* ((Thanks for the RP everyone *waves*))

William Halloran: He comes up to the bar and takes a seat, glancing over to John, and then the other direction, to Keiko, Alister, and Abigail. That direction gets only a very quick look before his eyes hit the floor, and he mumbles for a scotch. He gets his usual, which is a tall glass, fairly full of the liquor.

Alister Kurth: ((Cya jano, take care have a good one))

William Halloran: ((Bye Jano))

John Dante [PT]: ((see ya Jano.))

John Dante [PT]: He notices William; I mean who doesn't notice a man of that stature walk into a place. He follows him only a moment as a number of memories hit him "Your a wrestler." He ends up saying finger half pointed at William with a sort of glazed look

Abigail Williams: "One worth going through Hell again for. You mentioned doing so if the results were worth it." Keiko is given a wave in her leaving, not a lot having struck up but still a meeting of sorts. And then as one leaves.. The wave segues into a greeting of sorts for Halloran, glances having met midway. (He was rather hard to miss.) "Wrestler?"

William Halloran: He looks over at John, regarding him for a moment, before he nods. "Yeh, that's me. Will Halloran. Shaitan in the ring. How're ya?" He looks back to Abigail and, after a moment, gives her a nod, too. "Heya."

Alister Kurth: "There are lots of things worth suffering for, and lots of things you get no choice in the matter, but there's always the choice of what you do with what you're given... nearly anyway." the last part mumbled as he picks his new glass taking a deep drink from it, something off about him for a moment from it.

John Dante [PT]: He nods "Yeah, good, not bad.You...?" He shakes his head a small smile forming that only adds to his charm. He never knew before, well not like now and he stares at him as he remembers watching William fighting on the TV.

Abigail Williams: "And how to nearly. Water, please?" So she thought of something after all. It being a good afterthought to alchohol most nights. "The exceptions suck." William gets.. a smile? Yes, an actual smile. And a nod back at. "You've ended up on the garage's tv more than a few times you know."

Abigail Williams: "And.. excuse me. I'll be back shortly. I think." ((Back in a bit if I can be folks, work just reared it's head.))

Alister Kurth: He nods to the that and pushes himself to his feet. "Yeah they do. Anyway I should get going, it's been nice meeting you."

William Halloran: He shrugs a little bit. "M'awright. How're you?" Just making casual conversation as he lifts the drink to his lips. Just another talk with a fan.

Alister Kurth: ((Lol, everybody has things come up at once))

John Dante [PT]: He frowns ever so slightly "No offence big guy but you already asked me that." He looks from side to side "Am I bothering you, cos if so I can leave you be." He ends it with a smile, its hard not to like the man and besides the big guy looked like he carried the world, and considering whom he worked for that world could be wardrobe sized.

John Dante [PT]: ((see ya blind))

William Halloran: He looks over, watching Alister push up to his feet, and then glances backat John, his ruined face flushing a little. "Sorry...s'been a long night." Night, week, month, year, life, whatever. "And nah, y'aint botherin' me. S'cool."

Alister Kurth: He finishes his drink and gives a slight bow to her, it's obviously a bit more mock than anything, something to get a smile. and then he turns and heads out. ((see ya all, take care. I need to go eat))

William Halloran: ((Later, Blind!))

John Dante [PT]: "You sure?" Best to check, he was a big man "It if helps, am not after no autograph, no shit like that, I have seen you here before. On the door, just didn’t really click it was...well you." Which it didn't until a new memory just surfaced before.

William Halloran: He shrugs a little bit. "Ain't no problem. Ya been here before?" He looks back over to the man suddenly, squinting as if trying to place him. "Don't remember ya."

John Dante [PT]: He nods, something like a smile on his lips, those blue eyes looking about the place "Yeah, a few times, not that much all in all."

William Halloran: He grunts a bit and nods. "Ahh, 'kay. So what's yer name?"

John Dante [PT]: He takes a sip of his drink before answering "John Dante. Most folks just call me Dante." He leans forward off the stool and offers a hand to the big man

William Halloran: "Nice ta meet ya, Dante." He reaches out and shakes the other man's hand. "So, that like the Devine Comedy Dante?" Perhaps surprising from the big thug, but he seems familiar with the book.

John Dante [PT]: "Well its from my Australia father Kyle, but who knows." He laughs a little, good to see the gentle giant was educated "Still, my father liked that book, interesting read."

William Halloran: "Yeh." He nods a little bit. "Interestin's a good way ta put it. An Aussie, eh? What brings ya here?"

John Dante [PT]: "Funny story" His accent of all things sounds a little American "Grew up here, well Brooklyn actually." He looks away briefly to catch the eye of one of the bartenders "Another two beers please mate." He looks back to William "sorry about that. Well yes grew up in Brooklyn, until my parents followed there roots back Down Under." He twirls the empty bottle he currently has eyes intensifying ever so slightly "I needed to come over to the states, after 9/11 this place could use the help, it was my birthplace." He takes a moment to look down in a moment of respect before looking back up to William “So, what does a big named star like you do coming in here.”

John Dante [PT]: ((He takes a moment to look down in respect))

William Halloran: He shrugs a little bit, finishing up the scotch and letting the bartender refill it to near the top. "Ain't that big a star...not yet." He smiles faintly. "I work here. Do Security when I'm not in th' ring. Gotta pay th' bills somehow, right?"

John Dante [PT]: He seems suprised that his Television work doesn't pay that well, thanking the barman as he passes him yet another beer "Yeah, I mean if it doesn't pay that well. Obviously am guessing if your on TV your loaded." Learn something new everyday. He watches the scotch get poured like water. "Lady trouble?"

William Halloran: He shrugs a little bit. "Bein' on local TV ain't so much. Make about 50 bucks a show. Th' hope's that ya get picked up by th' big leagues." At that second part, he winces a little bit and shrugs. "Ennh."

John Dante [PT]: He gets the hint and quickly tries to move on to better things "So, whats behind there." He points to the Red Door behind the bar, if only he could get in, but he wasn't too sure how much William knows "I met a woman, Laurel last time, she said come up anytime." Not quite a lie, it was Laurel but more what was in Laurel which in the end is all the same to them. He looks abck to William "Is it a VIP lounge?"

William Halloran: He looks back at him, blinking, with suddenly much more discerning eyes. He seems to get a little more wary...back straighter. Just...ready, in case. "Yeh. S'a VIP Lounge, for friends've th' owners."

John Dante [PT]: He nods "Cool." He doesn't push it anymore, not with William, he will just have to wait until he can get in touch via other means. "They have a nice place here. Generally don't get out to the Island unless it on work."

John Dante [PT]: (Brb gotta grab some food give me 10))

William Halloran: ((No problem)) "Yeh." He nods a little, looking around with a little smile. "S'a good place. Good folk. I like it here, m'self."

~: No lurker posting, take a nick.

~: No lurker posting, take a nick.

Lurk: Weirdness...... Let's try this?

Lurk: Ok. heh. Open scenage?

William Halloran: ((Open, yeah.))

John Dante [PT]: ((Back))

Lurk: Cool cool ~G~ I'll wait for Judas to get back before jumping in. ~nods~

John Dante [PT]: He follows Williams eyes "Has character, unlike some places." He pulls out the pack of smokes again and puts them on the counter. His hand running over a brass zippo on top of the pack

William Halloran: "Yeh...yeh, it does." He glances over at the cigarette, then pulls out one of his own, lighting it up. "S'whaddya do?"

Maria: ~The red door, such a pretty thing that it is, opens. Though anyone that might be standing behind Will couldn't possibly be seen past his size~

John Dante [PT]: "Bomb Squad." He opens the pack slowly bringing one to his lips as he sparks the zippo lighting his smoke.

William Halloran: d10: Per+Alert: 5,9,6,10,3,6,10,

William Halloran: d10: Specialty (Why not?): 6,1,

William Halloran: The man turns as he somehow manages to hear the door open, looking in that direction.

Maria: ((~L~ Did you service the roller today Jer?))

Maria: ~The big brown eyes look up with a wide-eyed gaze at Will, and offers up a shy smile~ *sp* Hello mister Will.

John Dante [PT]: d10: Per & Alert: 10,2,6,9,5,

John Dante [PT]: He watches the big man turn just managing to catch sight of the Red head that walks out. No one he knows. Damn. ((DD please china *s*))

Maria: ((~giggles~ nono..... no red head here. Little hispanic girl. ~nods~))

John Dante [PT]: ((LOL missed read the red door part *g*))

William Halloran: ((No, no. It was just an incredibly unnecessary rool. That's why I did well.))

Maria: ((Of course. ~G~ Isn't that the way it was programmed to work?))

John Dante [PT]: And of course she speaks Spanish. He has no idea what was said, not that he couldn't understand if he wanted to, just without no-one knowing who he was if it was sensed it might no go down well. He airs on the side of caution and holds back from that, just offering Maria a charming smile.

Maria: ~She slips out of the doorway, letting the door close behind her, head tilting to Will. No real idea if he understands her or not, just knowing that he's.... almost always there. And thanks to Laurel, she actually knows his name at this point. Her eyes flicker over to John, and her steps pause, not quite coming all the way out from behind Will just yet, giving him a polite smile~

William Halloran: He looks over at Maria and smiles. ~SP~ "Heya. How're ya?"

Maria: ~Her eyes flit back to Will, smiling a bit~ *sp* I am good. I thought maybe I'd try coming out for some air and look around some..... is that ok? Jay is still sleeping, and I didn't want to wake him.

John Dante [PT]: He looks to Will then back to the girl. A faint smile as he starts speaking Spainsh. He moves so he is facing the bar and not then two as he takes another drag on his beer. New Faces.

William Halloran: He nods a little bit. ~SP~ "Yeah, that's fine. Just be careful around the bar. You're not drinking age."

Maria: ~She nods, moving out from behind him with another glance to John, then look back to Will~ *sp* Laurel said it would be ok..... that I wouldn't get people here in trouble. Can I stay here near you? I'll be quiet so you can talk to your friend.

William Halloran: ~SP~ "Sure ya can. Maria, right?" He pats the spot next to him, and looks over to John. He seems instantly protective of the young girl.

John Dante [PT]: John is focused looking elsewhere right now though it doesn't escape his notice she said Laurel, English or Spanish, a name is a name, what she said in relation to it though it a mystery to him.

Maria: ~Her smile broadens, and she moves over next to Will, her eyes looking slowly around the bar, before settling back on the two standing nearest to her~

William Halloran: "Dante, this is Maria." He looks back to Maria. ~SP~ "Maria, this is Dante."

Maria: ~Her eyes go to Will, then looks to Dante, smiling and nodding to him~ *sp* Pleased to meet you Mister Dante.

John Dante [PT]: He snaps out of it looking back to Will and then Maria "Nice to meet you Maria." He nods to her. William-"She can only speak Spainsh?"

William Halloran: "Think so, yeh. She said she's pleased to meetcha." He looks to Maria. ~SP~ "He said it's nice to meet you, too."

Maria: ~She looks to Will, smiling, then looking back to Dante a nod~

John Dante [PT]: He nods to Maria with a wide smile, humanity always got him right there. His eyes goto William however as he picks up his smokes and stands. "Having a three way conversation is hard enough, but having to translate for two, a little harsh on you Will." He pats the man on the back "I'am sure I'll bump into again, your a hard man to miss."

William Halloran: He nods a little bit to Dante. "Yeh, I'm easy t'see. I'll see y'around, Dante. Nice meetin' ya."

Maria: ~She looks between the two men, frowning a little bit at Dante's suddenly deciding to go. A chewing on her lip, and she settles her eyes on Will~ *sp* I'm sorry. I can go if you two want to talk. I didn't mean to interrupt anything.

William Halloran: ~SP~ "No, Maria. You're just fine...don't worry about it none." He looks down to her, his smile having a surprisingly gentle quality to it, considering his brutish look and fucked-up face.

John Dante [PT]: "Nice to meet you Will." He offers another amazing smile to Maria "Nice to meet you too love." He straightens his shirt just a touch at the collar and makes his way for the exit and beyond. He is best just letting everyone know he is alright just by the phone in his head.

Maria: ~She nods a bit, relaxing again. Her eyes go to Dante, her hand coming up in a little wave to him~ *sp* It was nice to meet you Mister Dante.

John Dante [PT]: ((Thanks for the scene Rav and China, John will have to about other means to get behind the door once more *s*))

Maria: ((~Gnaws on a Judas N grins~ Well you could keep him around some. ~Giggles~))

William Halloran: He watches John leave, and then looks back to Maria. ~SP~ "So how are you? Everyone treating you okay?"

John Dante [PT]: ((Nah having Rav translate would be a nightmare to the poor man *s*))

Maria: ~Her eyes go back to Will, nodding with a soft smile~ *sp* Most people, yes. You are.... Brigitte's bodyguard, right?

William Halloran: ((I really don't mind, Jud...seriously))

Maria: ((awwwwww ~Snugs on a Judas~ Well she offered to be quiet so they could talk. ~L~ She just wants to be around not-so-scary people))

John Dante [PT]: ((I would have done but John wouldn't have stayed, still thanks for the offer guys, real nice of you *s*))

William Halloran: ~SP~ "Yeah. That's me." He nods a little bit, eyes dipping to the ground as his smile fades a bit. ~SP~ "I keep her safe. Or try to."

Maria: *sp* She has been very sweet to us. She buys us clothes and her and Laurel say that we don't have to leave.

William Halloran: ~SP~ "Yeah, she's...they're both good folk." That brings a bit more of a smile to his face, and he nods. Still something a bit missing there, maybe. ~SP~ "Glad we could help you all."

Maria: *sp* I am very thankful to all of you for helping us. I've given it alot of thought, these last few days, and.... Laurel says I can stay. That I don't have to leave if I don't want to.

William Halloran: ~SP~ "That's...that's good." He nods. ~SP~ "You should stay. The people here will protect you. I will, too, much as I can."

Maria: ~She smiles, nodding~ *sp* I... I like it here, now that I'm getting used to things. I'm not quite as scared now, but the dreams still come. Laurel, Phillip, Brigitte, Jay, and you are very nice. Others too, but I don't know alot of their names.

William Halloran: ~SP~ "Most of them are good folk, yeah." He nods. "Don't know about some of the newcomers, but everyone else is all right."

Maria: *sp* Is Urian a.... wolf in sheeps clothing?

William Halloran: He frowns and shrugs. ~SP~ "I dunno. He seems decent enough. Birgette, uh..." He clears his throat. ~SP~ "He seems to be good to her."

Maria: ~A nod, looking around a bit, then back to Will~ *sp* Why does he have such scary people working for him?

William Halloran: ~SP~ "Dunno." He shrugs. ~SP~ "I don't understand it all totally, myself...but if Brigette and Laurel ain't kickin' em out, then I don't think they intend harm..."

Maria: ~She nods thoughtfully at that~ *sp* They wouldn't him in if he was the devil, right? So maybe I'm just over reacting to him?

Maria: ~She tilts her head, blinking a few times~ *sp* Not Urian.... one of his people.

William Halloran: ~SP~ "I guess not." He shrugs. ~SP~ "There are a couple ya gotta watch out for. Like this guy...Burnham. British guy, real asshole. Be careful around him."

Maria: ~She nods again~ *sp* Burnham....... I haven't met him. I'll remember that.

William Halloran: He nods. ~SP~ "If he takes the slightest bit offense, he'll talk a lot of shit. And he's...slimy. Not a good guy, at all."

Maria: *sp* Then why is he allowed here? Is it just because he hasn't done anything bad to be asked not to come? I wouldn't think Brigitte and Laurel would put up with bad people. Not here.

William Halloran: ~SP~ "'cause he helps out still." He sighs. ~SP~ "I dunno. Ain't my place to question it, y'know?"

Maria: ~She nods in agreeance~ *sp* Yes. So.... what about you? What do you do when you aren't here?

William Halloran: ~SP~ "When I ain't here? I'm a professional wrestler. Work at a little promotion based her in the city."

Maria: ~Her eyes get big at that~ *sp* Wrestling? Wow..... isn't that dangerous? Big men throwing eachother around..... Sounds like a good way to get hurt.

William Halloran: ~SP~ "Yeah, well, there ain't much bigger then me." He grins a little. ~SP~ "It's all done safely. I mean, I get hurt, but I come out okay mostly."

Maria: ~She giggles a little bit at that, shaking her head~ *sp* I think you might be the biggest man I've ever seen. But you're really too nice to be all that scary. Maybe if you were angry I'd run away, but other than that you're nice. Just be careful. You can't protect Brigitte if you're broken.

William Halloran: He chuckles a little and nods. ~SP~ "Don't worry, I won't get hurt none in the ring. Nothin' that won't heal nice and quick. And yeah...if I get angry, I can get pretty scary, I hear."

Maria: ~She smiles up at him and reaches up, patting his arm~ *sp* It's ok though. I don't think you're scary right now, and I have no intentions of ever making you angry enough to see how scary you can get. I might like to go to watch you wrestle someday though if I'm allowed.

William Halloran: He smiles down to the girl and nods. ~SP~ "I'd like that. We'll have to see if it's okay."

Maria: ~She nods, grinning widely~ *sp* I can't promise it will interest me alot though.... I'm not really one for any sort of violence. Even if it's a sport type of thing. But I would be happy to go see it at least once to see if I like it.

William Halloran: ~SP~ "That's fine. Never know until you come see, right?" He chuckles. ~SP~ "If you don't like it, my feelings won't be hurt."

Maria: ~She smiles, nodding~ *sp* That's good.... We weren't allowed to go to those sorts of things at the home. I think the nuns were afraid we might come home and try our own wrestling matches if we did.

William Halloran: ~SP~ "Yeah, my mom always thought the same. But it ain't so bad. Long as kids realize it's all choreographed, no one gets hurt.".

Maria: ~Her eyes go great big~ *sp* What's that mean?

William Halloran: ~SP~ "It's...the winner's pre-determined. It ain't like Lucha Libre...everything's planned out ahead of time. Don't mean it don't hurt...believe me, it gets rough, and you can't fake a lot of the shit we do...but it's plotted out."

Maria: *sp* Well that ruins the fun of it, doesn't it? Knowing it's all planned out? ~Her head tilts curiously~

William Halloran: ~SP~ "Ain't all that common of knowledge, for one. Lots know, but lots don't" He shrugs. "And even if I may know the who's gonna win...and the fans know whoever wins is determined...they don't know who that is. Makes it like a sporting event and a movie all in one."

Maria: ~She smiles, nodding~ *sp* Well as long as you don't tell me who is going to win, then I would be happy to go watch if I am allowed.

William Halloran: ~SP~ "Sure. We'll see." He smiles to her and nods.

Maria: ~She nods, patting his arm again~ *sp* I think I need to go get something to eat. Do you want anything?
