Stanley P Kolpeck: *Stands against the rail overlooking the bay.*

Stanley P Kolpeck: *Eyes cast out over the water intent in thought.*

Keiko Moroboshi: *she walks through Battery Park, on her way someplace, perhaps*

Stanley P Kolpeck: d10: per+alert: 1,7,4,4,2,

Stanley P Kolpeck: *Oddly the normally observant man is preoccupied at the moment lost in thought...*

Keiko Moroboshi: *she's just walking along...*

Kelton Michaels: The man hasn't been to Battery Park in almost nine months...the last time didn't go so well. But he gives it a shot anyway, limping his way into the park with a quiet, almost wary look.

Kelton Michaels is an approaching his middle age in years, and he certainly looks it. A touch frail at 5'9" and barely 135 pounds, the look of weakness is amplified by the cane that he has to rely on to walk. His hair is a touch ragged, falling to his shoulders and having a steel tint to it, which goes well with his pale blue eyes, which look out under wire- rimmed glasses. He has a tendency to dress in a business casual style...dress shirts and slacks, with loafers to complete the ensemble, and he prefers blacks, subtle greens, and grays in his coloring. All in all, he looks very much the eccentric academic that he is.

Stanley P Kolpeck: *A soft sigh from the young man prior to his turning around, nearly running Keiko over.* Shit, I'm sorry. *He says apologeticly.* I...wasn't thinkin'.

Stanley P Kolpeck -> Kelton Michaels: ((If you need it...A decent looking man, even with the healing sores indicating a ex-junky. Walking with confidence, he is usually seen drapped with a beat-up old leather trench, black pants with a chain hanging to his calf from his belt loop to his back pocket, a camouflage shirt with "Like Christians to the Loins" printed boldly across the front or any of the other catchy things that metal-bands put on shirts, and a pair of combat boots. Standing at 5' 10" and 184 lbs he isn't the most intimidating man alive.))

Keiko Moroboshi: *she shakes her head quietly, and makes a dismissive motion with her hand*

Kelton Michaels: He makes his way along, noting Castle Clinton with a shiver, and approaches the railing.

Stanley P Kolpeck: *He smiles slightly, which turns to a look of relization.* We've met before right. In front of that club.

Stanley P Kolpeck: d10: p+a: 3,4,1,9,5,

Keiko Moroboshi: "Perhaps..."

Stanley P Kolpeck: *The dark must be messin' with him.*

Stanley P Kolpeck: *Nods his head.* Not a big people person? *A direct question, no "pussy footin' around".*

Keiko Moroboshi: "Not really."

Kelton Michaels: He looks over to Keiko and Stanley as he limps near to the railing, offering them brief smiles.

Stanley P Kolpeck: *Nods.* Kinda comes with the territory I guess.

Keiko Moroboshi: *she doesn't seem to notice Keiko* "What territory are you talking about?"

Stanley P Kolpeck: *Turns toward the city.* That one. *Looking at all the buildings peeking over the trees.*

Keiko Moroboshi: "I don't know what you're talking about." *she shakes her head*

Keiko Moroboshi: ((err, two posts ago, should have been "Kelton" instead of "Keiko"))

Stanley P Kolpeck: *Turns back to the woman.* The city, people tend not to be very open here. *Ponders* At least it seems that way.

Kelton Michaels: He settles against the rail, leaning against it for support as he looks over, listening to the conversation quietly.

Keiko Moroboshi: "Perhaps people merely do not like being accosted at random."

Stanley P Kolpeck: *Grins sheepishly.* Yeah, sorry about that.

Keiko Moroboshi: "It is something that you must learn eventually. Most people do not react well to being accosted with the philosophies of others. That is why the people who scream on street corners are not held in high regard."

Stanley P Kolpeck: *Stops, jaw dropping slightly.* Sorry about that. I wasust trying to make small talk, I really wasn't trying to accost you.

Kelton Michaels: He can't help but chuckle a little bit at Keiko's words.

Stanley P Kolpeck: ((Note: no malice, just a stressing on the word...))

Keiko Moroboshi: "Then consider it an abstract lesson, rather than a specific one." *a very slight smile has creeped onto her face, like this amuses her*

Stanley P Kolpeck: d10: p+a: 6,7,4,9,7,

Stanley P Kolpeck: ((Sight be damned.)) *Turns at the sound giving the man a nod before turning back.* Point taken, lesson learned. *He finishes with a nod.*

Keiko Moroboshi: "Good. It is an important lesson, that more people should take to heart."

Kelton Michaels: He returns the nod to Stanley, eyes passing between the two of them.

Keiko Moroboshi: *she's silent, and appears to have just realized that she's gotten herself into a somewhat social situation*

Stanley P Kolpeck: *Stan shakes his head.* Anyway, other than being accosted how have you been? *Same ol' odd Stan, always everyones friend.*

Kelton Michaels: He shrugs a little bit, and turns to start limping away. ((Getting a bad headache...gonna shower and get away from the comp. Thanks for the scene, guys!))
